Its a true natural wonder of Yunnan and reflects how the province has been for all of ancient history until humans arrived. The forest park has several different attractions including an aquarium, a peacock show lake, a minority ancient village, a waterfall, a high ropes course and a monkey Grove and walkway. The flower bridge walkways in the pictures were really fun and well decorated. We watched people zip lining past us as we walked. The monkey Grove was also really nice. You can buy slices of banana to feed to the monkeys and they sit on bouncy bamboo sticks and catch the food thrown to them. 2024.4.16 Yunnan Xishuangbanna National Forest Park, located in Jinghong City, Xishuangbanna, Yunnan Province, 8 kilometers away from Jinghong City, on the banks of the Caiyu River, across the Nanban River in the south, and the Caiyu River in the north. It belongs to the humid monsoon climate of the north tropical and south Asian tropical, long summer without winter, dry and wet season, both the advantages of continental climate and marine climate without its shortcomings, the daily temperature difference is large, the annual temperature difference is small, the quiet wind is less cold, and the basic frost-free. The park covers an area of 26,310 mu, and the forest coverage rate in the park is 98.6%, which is the best preserved virgin forest south of the Tropic of Cancer. Its natural advantages blend the magical natural scenery of the virgin forest and the rich folk customs, highlighting the three main theme characteristics of "tropical valley rainforest", "wildlife display mainly based on peacock culture", "folk customs display mainly based on Hani people-Aini people". Built on May 29, 1999, it attracted many tourists and scientific workers at home and abroad.

The virgin forest park is not far from Jinghong City. It takes only one stop on Z21 Road, but the huge blockage during the Spring Festival is very large. Z21 Road departs every hour. The traffic jam is probably not possible. The doorway of the return journey at noon has been blocked into a pot of porridge. I can’t get up when I call the car, and there is no place to stop when I drive. I walked 1-2 kilometers to get to the car. Let’s talk about the forest park. The whole scenic spot is divided into three parts. One is the peacocks, one is the Hani culture, and the other is the virgin forest. It is 10 kilometers back and forth. The peacocks have a fixed session for a day. Almost the field is full, there is no good location to go late, it is worth seeing. Up is the Aini cottage, there is a bamboo raft dance, and then up in addition to the virgin forest and the jungle leap (21 projects), the physical strength can buy a battery car, 60 round trip, 40 one-way, in addition to the traffic jam affecting the mood, the scenery is still good.
