The marina bay area is operated by a company called Water B which we were on. It took us along Singapore river, thru historic moments from a fishing village to a thriving metropolis today. It is an approximately 40mins ride where it will sale from Marina Bay area towards the mini merlion and along Clarke Quay and Riverside point, esplanade and the Asian Civilisation museum before it makes a U-Turn. Prices are from $22 - $25 for adult and is a recommended visit for both tourists and local. You can go there by MRT and stop at Fort Canning Station or by Bus 32, 54 or 195. You can find the Kiosk at the right side of the Liang Court Shopping Mall. You can buy ticket of the boat at the Kiosk. The price is around 50 SGD. The boat will start the trip every 1 hour. The trip is about 30-40 minutes. River Safari is nestled between the Singapore Zoo and Night Safari, it is both a river-themed zoo and aquarium. It has different zones that replicate the habitats of rivers across the world, from the Mississippi to the Yangtze. It is the first and only wildlife park that is themed around a river. I was thrilled to see the giant pandas, Jia Jia and Kai Kai. Also the adorable red panda, and many other fascinating animals. I like the Mekong River zone with giant catfish.
