Journey experience: The Qing Dynasty of the Wanli Kingdom was once incomprehensible, and the prosperous and prosperous world was written in this garden. Here, there was a peach blossom, a green water, and there was a glimpse of gold and jade. Time flies, today's Yuanmingyuan, nothing. People took pictures in front of the ruins, and remembered that all the old and old dreams turned into a sigh.
The Old Summer Palace, also known as Yuanmingyuan or Yuanmingyuan Park, originally called the Imperial Gardens and sometimes called the Winter Palace
Yuanmingyuan Park in Beijing is a tranquil oasis steeped in imperial history and natural beauty. Exploring its gardens and ruins offers a glimpse into China's rich cultural heritage and resilience.
Was lucky enough to go on a sunny day that was not crowded! Mid-morning is best, and it’s good to spend at least 2 hours here. Easy by ride share or subway/walk. There’s a lot of history, and the site is massive in terms of ruins and unkept landscape. Perfect April-September.
Particularly beautiful during wintertime to me. It’s cold, but less crowds and everywhere can be picture background. recommended
Gaze at the swans occupying these once meticulous man-made lakes and look upon the destruction wrought by Western imperialism. There's lots to be seen here if your imagination works well and sections of non reconstructed original buildings which bring history to life.
Compared to the hustle and grandure of the nearby Summer Palace, Yuanmingyuan is a serene and quiet alternative. Stroll through vast gardens and cool off next to calm ponds
