Hey dear fairies! 🌈 Finally arrived in magical Hong Kong! 🇭🇰 Wow wow wow~ It's my first time here, I'm so excited! 🤩 ✅Departure Living in Shenzhen, it's really convenient to enter Hong Kong from the Luohu port! 🚄 The clearance speed is super fast, the whole process is incredibly smooth, I didn't even have time to react, and I was already on the Hong Kong subway! 😆 ⚠️Route Kennedy Town - Central (Art Society) - Gun Factory Street Skybridge - Star Avenue (k11) - Mong Kok 1️⃣-3️⃣ The popular places in Kennedy Town are really good for taking pictures! The basketball court is also a popular check-in spot, super easy to find. After taking pictures, you can go for a walk by the nearby sea, it feels really comfortable! 🌊 4️⃣-7️⃣ Then take the subway to Central for a stroll, it feels a bit like Japan and a bit like Sydney, haha, Hong Kong is really a fusion city. The Art Society and the Gun Factory Street Skybridge are excellent choices for good photos, and the distance is not far, great! 📸👍🏻 8️⃣-9️⃣ Finally, in order not to miss the sunset in Hong Kong, I went to Star Avenue. Here I feel like I'm holding hands with Tony Leung 🥰 (just kidding). Looking at the handprints of the Hong Kong stars, it brings back the beautiful memories of having TVB accompany me when I was a child. Finally, I went to Mong Kok at night, took the world's longest escalator, it feels like a large mall and food street, not much interesting haha... 😅 ☑️Summary Overall, the one-day tour in Hong Kong feels not bad! My friend said that Hong Kong is a place where you don't want to go again after one visit, but I think it's okay! It's suitable for a leisurely stroll to feel the city atmosphere, especially Central and the city center are really like Sydney, walking all the way and feeling, every street is so familiar, it feels a bit like crossing 🕵️‍♀️. Definitely a place that has to be visited. I was a little hesitant when invited to visit the museum with a tour group of people who were much older than I was. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the experience - I learnt a lot about the history as well as the interactive games/attractions that were included in the tour. One of the highlights was a picture taking attraction where they would put your faces on “traditional paintings” - and could be played with more than 1 friend. We were also given the opportunity to try digital Chinese calligraphy and practice our brush strokes. Not forgetting that the view from the sky deck was amazing amazing amazingggggggg!!!! Hong Kong truly is beautiful.

Great array of royal antiques on display. The highlight in my opinion is the good amount of resting outdoor areas between each level. The last exhibition hall is an interactive art gallery with interesting models, there was also a separate gallery that isn't part of the standard ticket. My assumption is that this gallery is a themed experience and changes from time to time. The Museum opening on 2022 and is new place for tourists , the building architecture is big and beautiful.The exhibition majority are in across with the Beijing palace museum . Quite interesting , a lot of interactive display on whole museum . My kid is enjoy the museum . Estimate can easily spend 2 hours there walking around and admiring priceless artefacts in each gallery which are beautifully exhibited. Transportation : Take the MRT to Kowloon Station. Take Exit E4 or E5 and walk along Nga Cheung Road to the footbridge. Cross the footbridge to enter the West Kowloon Cultural District and walk to the Museum. I managed to visit the newest museum in Hong Kong and it's already one of my fave museums. The museum itself was well-designed and offered wonderful collections and eye-opening exhibitions. I've learned a lot about the emperors and empresses of China and had fun watching and playing with the games/activities each gallery had. There's also a viewing deck offering a view of HK Island and the Art Park. It's really worth the visit. Tips: 1. Bring a good camera/phone for lowlight conditions. 2. Wear a jacket as it gets chilly in the galleries. 3. Bring water. (I brought a lemon tea drink and it's not prohibited). 4. There's a bag check so don't bring sharp objects. 5. Best to go during a public holiday as it's open from 10am until 8pm. The Hong Kong Palace Museum is located at the West Kowloon Cultural District. It was opened to the public in July 2022. Longing to visit the Hong Kong Palace Museum and this is my first visit to it! It has a total of 8 exhibition theatres across 3 floors. No. 8 theatre requires additional entrance fee for special exhibition. We spent nearly the whole afternoon exploring seven theatres which showcase fine collections from the Palace Museum in Beijing and other world-renowned institutions. According to the information at the Museum, over 900 priceless treasures are from the Palace Museum in Beijing and many of them are on display in Hong Kong for the first time. The Musuem is so caring that they have benches and foldable chairs at every corners for visitors. In addition, there are open space and sitting area in each floor. Second Floor and the Fourth Floor can access the roof area which is good for taking photos of the West Kowloon Cultural District and the Victoria Harbour. Hong Kong Palace Museum is a collaborative project between the West Kowloon Cultural District Authoirty and the Palace Museum. It offers a cultural resources that belongs to the community of Hong Kong, connect the city with arts and culture, and promote creativity and interdisciplinary collaboration. Jin Ya Ju Noodle Bar is one of three restaurants located right next to the Hong Kong Palace Museum. It offers chinese noodles dishes, rice dishes, and different beverages, such as milk tea or coffee latte, to choose. They have seats indoor and outdoor, but if the weather is not good, they will not open the outdoor seats. Ordered angus beef noodle with sesame sauce and braised beef noodle. Average cost per person is 100-150 HKD. If you want to visit the restaurant but you haven’t finished inside the museum, you should inform the staff in the museum that you want to return back to the museum, because the restaurant can’t be accessed from inside the museum. the related staff will give you a bracelet and when you enter again from the entrance door, you will need to show your bracelet to their staff. #food

I remember seeing one news article about the opening of Hong Kong Palace Museum and immediately got hooked with the idea of visiting the museum soon. As my mom came to visit me in Hong Kong, the first place I think of bringing her to visit is the palace museum. You will need to book ticket online in advance. Normal ticket costs 50 HKD, which allows you to see 7 thematic gallery, while the other ticket costs 120 HKD and add special exhibition for your visit. I chose the normal one and did spent almost whole day there already. How to go: from Kowloon Station, follow the sign, and you will reach a minibus stop (74/74S) that will take you to the front of the museum for 4 dollar. There are a lot to see inside the museum, but my favorite is the part about the forbidden city where they explain detailed layout of forbidden city in Beijing, the life of the emperor and empress dowager, and beautiful ancient objects created far in the past. I learnt a lot of things, for example about the fact that Qianlong Emperor also did a lot of preservation and study of the previous dynasties relics.
