Apartamentos Bora Bora - Adults Only

Okay apartment in an excellent location in Ibiza. Walking distance to major clubs which is great if that's what you're looking at doing however with that also comes constant noise - from 11am to 3am every day. But expected when in Ibiza. Apartment itself was okay. Large and spacious but definitely in need of upgrades. Air-conditioning was working but leaked after being in use for a few hours so we had to switch off. Shower did not drain well at all so you are constantly turning the tap on and off to avoid the whole bathroom flooding. Wifi did not work at all so please do not expect to be able to use it. Also mobile data service was terrible unless outside or on the balcony. Pool was amazing but also a little annoying that secutity were ok with guests using the pool at early hours of the morning after a night out (unnecessary noise on top of the loud club right in front of the apartment). Staff were helpful.

The room was spacious and beds comfy even the sofa bed, 1 bedroom apartment was perfectly fine for 5 of us, the hotel is close to lots of nightlife and shops it's a good location and looks really nice, staff are kind particularly David the lifeguard who my kids adored and Martina who was very friendly but really all of the staff were so nice and welcoming, the pool area is great and clean also the snack bar serves great food at good prices. We were pleased that there was a child entertainer around pool side 6 days a week 10am-6pm and the snack bar was open until end of October 21-28th as we had read that this would be shut! A couple of things they could improve on are small and would make a huge difference... there were containers for hand soap and shower gel in the room but they were left empty also no washing liquid provided, I think these are basic things that should be provided in a self catering apartment! we found eating out and food shopping really expensive more so than in the UK, also we would like children's evening shows and entertainment but wether they provide that peak season I'm not sure! Overall I would recommend this hotel and if it provided all inclusive options we would return.

We travelled as family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teenagers) in 2 twin rooms. The hotel was modern and clean in a great central location. 5 minute walk to beach. Rooms: Nice size, clean, good view of pool, lovely balcony, good selection of TV channels. Maid service every day. But... The rooms had an awful sewage smell when the air conditioning was on. Pools: 4 really good sized outdoor pools for all age groups but water very cold. Dirty and tired looking sunbeds. Ripped towels. There is an indoor pool for children plus an indoor pool / spa for over 16s. Food: Good selection but spolit by the fact both breakfast and evening meal food was cold. Not pleasant eating cold fried eggs and sausages. The glasses looked dirty. No English Breakfast tea bags so bought our own from the supermarket. The fruit is obviously out all night as it was dry. My son was given chicken which was raw in the middle. I complained and was disappointed not to receive an apology. We were also VERY disappointed about food labelling. Nothing to tell you what flavour the cakes or yoghurt or jam was. Just a gamble if it was a flavour you would enjoy. Plus, major point: No allergen info on anything. There is a small games room but the white ball was missing from the pool table and some machines out of order. You need 10 euro deposit to borrow table tennis rackets and ball. The reception staff were lovely, polite and friendly but the restaurant and bistro staff not so much. We had a nice break but would definitely not return.

We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment with a sea view. Fantastic spot as it's so close to the beach. You can literally go and come during the day if you don't have shade. Employees were all lovely from the front desk to room cleaners, all very accommodating. I slept on the sofa bed as the room mattresses were too soft for me, room is also very hot as it doesn't get air from outside, unless you like sleeping with air con. There is a supermarket next to the hotel so you can buy anything you need. Lots of restaurants around and the aquarium is very close. They have a kid's show every night during weekdays and music outside at night as well. Regarding the hotel's restaurant, there is a lot of selection for breakfast and dinner. I did find it a bit bland, not a lot of taste to it so this is the only part that I wouldn't give it a 5*. I did like a few dishes but the rest I just ate because I had half board included. Desserts are basically a few sponge cakes, fruit or ice cream. Was expecting from a 4* hotel. Overall I would still recommend for it's location - superb!

This is the second time I've stayed in the jarden del mar, first as a party holiday in a large group and was so impressed I decided to stay this year but instead with my family which included my two children. The pool facilities are brilliant, there was always lounge chairs available by the pool no matter what time of the day. There is also a heated pool and a childrens pool. Poolside bar and games available too. Beach just a short walk away. Very clean and staff very friendly and helpful. If you decide to stay here make sure to book a ”seaview room” as we made the mistake of not doing so, but there was no problem moving when I explained I was unhappy with the room due to an uncomfortable sofa bed and view. Staff were always on hand to help with any general query or question. Would definitely go back!

Over the last few years I have had the fortune of staying in a number of hotels, hostels and holiday lets. This is by far the absolute worst hotel I have ever stayed at. We arrived at 2am due to flight times/easyjet transfers delays. Upon arrival I had to search for someone to be able to check us in. We started travelling at 7am the prior day so this was less than ideal. The receptionist did then ask us if we wanted something to eat but at that point we were exhausted and just wanted to go to bed. We then arrive in the room (one bed apartment) which was a really good size, decent balcony but felt a little bit unclean. Not to worry, we were tired and went to sleep. The next day we got up to head down to breakfast. The first breakfast we had was the best meal of the trip; it rapidly went downhill from here. The food was that bad we didn't eat at the hotel, save for making cheese sandwiches at lunchtime, for the 2nd half of our week. This seemingly was common as we often found the other guests at the same restaurants each night. The drinks machines were also not good. The drinks all tasted completely off so we spent most the time going to the shop to buy drinks. I think, particularly as a fatty, I'm the first person to go on an all inclusive holiday and come home having lost weight. After that breakfast we went back up to the room to prepare for the day. The shower and taps were salt water (the only place you can seemingly get ”fresh” water from is an old beer tap) . The shower pressure was awful and the shower ran hot then cold with no consistency. We then headed down to the also salty and freezing pool. The best place to sunbathe was up on the sun terrace away from the pool, unfortunately though this appeared to be where the older sunbeds were put. Most of them had torn or slacked or were mouldy. This was massively disappointment as it was a great area. It would also be great if they could make that spot adults only. We headed off to the beach for a swim, the beach is lovely albeit small and is so, so close to the hotel. The sea was warmer than the pool. The entertainment was ok and it felt like the staff were trying their hardest with what they'd been provided with. The music throughout the day was pleasant except for the one day that the 5 same songs played on repeat and none of the staff seemed to notice for 3 hours. Due to Spanish laws you can't smoke within the hotel grounds, even as a smoker I completely agree with this, however, the designated smoking area is the entrance to the hotel. It stunk and was filthy. Not the best welcome back to the hotel. The staff (particularly the evening bar man and the guy that did the pool bar during the day) were really friendly and a good laugh. They always had a smile for you despite always being on their own. The above are the main things that were the problems, I feel like this will be read as I have nothing to do but complain but the above was truly awful. We both commented about ho
