Aparthotel Adagio Glasgow Central ★★★★

"I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was clean, spacious, and offered plenty of room to relax comfortably. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always responsive to any requests. The location is excellent, with many restaurants within walking distance, making it easy to find a variety of dining options. It is also very close to Tesco, which was convenient for picking up snacks and daily necessities. In addition, the hotel is located near the central station and subway station, providing easy access to the city and surrounding areas. Overall, this is a comfortable and well-located hotel, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area."

Best Western Glasgow Hotel ★★★

"The room facilities were pretty basic and a bit dated. I could hear the neighbors opening their door, and it sounded like someone was knocking on mine. The breakfast buffet, however, was quite good."

Glasgow Argyle Hotel, BW Signature Collection ★★★★

"Lovely helpful staff albeit understaffed for an early evening. Food from bar menu was delicious ( had fish n chips) only negative comment was cleanliness of female changing area at pool. Used make up wipes under bench in cubicle 2 days in row and nasty smell from drains. Pool was fine. Showers were dodgy, rattly and water didn’t run for long."

Holiday Inn Express GLASGOW - CITY CTR THEATRELAND by IHG ★★★

"We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Glasgow - City Ctr Theatreland by IHG and were generally pleased with our experience. The hotel boasts an excellent location right in the heart of Glasgow, close to Buchanan Bus Station, shops, restaurants, and theaters, making it a truly convenient base for exploring the city. If you're visiting for a couple of days, the location significantly saves time and makes your trip much more comfortable. The hotel itself left a good impression. The staff were welcoming, polite, and ready to assist, and check-in was smooth without any unnecessary delays. Our room was clean, tidy, and perfectly adequate for a short stay: nothing overly luxurious, but with all the essentials. For a city hotel, practicality often trumps elaborate decor, and this was certainly the case here. The breakfast was also a pleasant surprise. It's included in the price, offers a decent selection, and the food was fresh and hot. It's great to be able to eat peacefully in the morning before heading out for sightseeing or business. While the hotel maintains a straightforward style, it's important to note that you shouldn't expect anything premium. Regarding the downsides, as with many city-center hotels, parking can be a bit of an issue. It's available, but might not be the most convenient, and even with a discount, it's not always cheap. Some other reviews also mention that the city center can occasionally be noisy, especially if your room faces the street, and in warmer weather, the air conditioning might not be powerful enough. These aren't critical issues, but they are worth keeping in mind beforehand."
