The Ritz-Carlton, Mexico City ★★★★★

"Highly not recommended! 1. The room design has obvious problems. The all-glass balcony and door result in extremely poor sound insulation! I stayed on the 47th floor, and the traffic noise was incredibly loud. The bathroom is even worse. The floor is extremely slippery whenever it's even slightly wet! You can't put towels or leave the floor in front of the shower because the door won't close properly. Also, the shower door can't be closed completely. 2. The housekeepers ring the doorbell for less than 15 seconds before opening the door and entering. The most outrageous time was when she came to clean the room at 8 AM; she was already inside before we even realized it. 3. The only thing worth praising is the concierge service; they were attentive and enthusiastic."

"The location is great, safe and convenient. I'm satisfied with the room amenities and the bedding is clean and tidy. The only downside is that the facilities are a bit outdated, especially the bathtub showerhead, where the water pressure is a bit low and there's a slight leak. Otherwise, I'm very satisfied. I stay at this hotel every time I visit Mexico City, for 4-5 nights each time. I've stayed here at least a dozen times. I love the garden view room; the sunlight streams in during the day, which is very pleasant!"
