"1. The location - superb 2. Golf course - superb 3. The hotel itself - was fine with regards to cleanliness, however th lack of hot water in the room was a let down, so we couldn't have a hot bath or hot shower 4. The restaurant was a huge let down - booked the table for 8 pm. when arrived - had to wait for 10 minutes to be sat down at a table that was not even set, 15 minutes later a waiter came to us, to give us the menu, 10 minutes after that, he came to ask if we were ready to order, by looking around no-one was eating no-one had water on their table and the restaurant was packed. When the waiter came, this is 25 minutes from our sitting down, he said it would be another 50 minutes before we are even served our food because they are very busy and very understaffed. - we left the restaurant and drove to have a take away from Woodbridge Chinese Restaurant. 5. Breakfast following morning - was OK, but the lack of set up tables and condiments on the tables was a let down. Paulina and Mark from St. Neots"

"We were a group of four - two couples and what a lovely experience we had in the The Bull Inn, from the moment of arrival to check out - every member of staff were a delight to deal with from The wonderful Milly on check in to all through the stay she was exceptional , our waitrer Jake on the first night such a friendly professional young guy . Our waitresses Rose , Gretta and also Ollie the waiter . A special mention to Ethan the head chef who gave the go ahead to Matt and Archer to make me the the most scrumptious crab linguine that I ever had on the Saturday night to I have once again as it was not on the menu on the Sunday night - did I enjoy it ! Dinner on both evening was outstanding ! Breakfast was a delight also , cooked to order - what more could you ask for ! We had the most beautiful four poster rooms rooms 12 and 14 , very comfortable and clean . Overall we would like to HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE BULL INN to all for the friendly and professional service with great food . Thank you all to the above mentioned staff and also to our friendly waitress on the Monday morning (Did not get her name ). A delightful stay had by all. We will be back ."

"We just had a drink here as we had already booked to eat elsewhere but if we had more time we would definitely have stayed and or had something to eat. Pub was lovely with lots of little nooks to choose from to sit and chat."

"We stayed for two nights, having read excellent reviews. Suffice to say we were not disappointed. Great location and easy parking (though I had to get Carla to help me download the Ring-Go app on my phone). The breakfasts were as good as others have said, we even had to ask her to leave some things off!! At night any train noise was minimal, we slept very well. Great view across the river from our room and an easy walk to pubs/restaurants in town. Highly recommended."
