Karuizawa is a maple viewing spot. One of the secret spots for maple viewing is White Silk Falls. White Silk Falls is slightly far from Karuizawa Station, you need to take a 20-minute bus ride to reach it, but it does not diminish the popularity of White Silk Falls😛

Spectacular and spacious. Go from JR Kamakura Station. There are trees in the middle of the shrine to provide shade. However, there is almost no shade inside the park. It is recommended not to come during the summer noon. It is really hot. Especially the steps in front of the main hall. Children and elders will not be able to bear it. There are also museum tickets for sale inside. Personally, if you are not very interested in Kamakura and the relics of the shogunate period, you don’t need to go in.

However, there are still a few souvenir shops open, where you can buy Kamakura-style products. There are fewer people on Komachi-dori at night, so it is recommended to come earlier in the day!

I just came back from a walk along Kamakura Komachi-dori, feeling very satisfied and a little unsatisfied. As soon as you step into this lively street, the aroma of roasted sweet potatoes and Japanese snacks wafts in the air, making you want to stop and taste something immediately. It’s actually a long and far drive from Tokyo to here, but the seaside atmosphere is relaxing. The streets are not as crowded as those in popular spots in Tokyo, and there are restaurants around the station. I highly recommend the freshly fried curry buns filled with cheese. It's hot and the cheese is stringy and delicious. The Enoshima pudding was also very rich, and I bought it just before closing. I just saw a croquette shop and tried it, but it was nothing special so I won’t introduce it.

Unfortunately, Fuji disappeared after 20 minutes on Kawaguchiko, even though the forecast called for sunny and cloudless days. But! It was beautiful! Be sure to check the weather 10 times 🫡 We rode catamarans on the water, bought souvenirs, and went up to the mountain for ice cream. Overall, it was fun, if you forget about the four-hour drive.

Last time I took the JR from Shinjuku to Kawaguchiko, I didn't go to Oshino Hakkai because of the different location. This time I chose to join a one-day tour to visit Oshino Hakkai, a scenic spot on the other side of Mount Fuji. The water is very clear, and the background is very beautiful with Mount Fuji. Although it rained that day ~ but listening to the sound of rain plus the sound of running water is very comfortable 😌
Now the Yumoto Station strip is not long though! But there are many special snacks 💕💕
Staying in the nearby hot spring ♨️ hotel can always finish the hot spring 🧖 walk out to this side to eat some snacks 💕
This is a great place to travel in autumn and winter! You can relax 💕 If you arrange a tour of attractions, you can also go to Okawa Valley, Lake Lu, etc. ~

This time, I visited a hot spring hotel in Hakone in winter and felt the unique charm of Japanese hospitality. The room is comfortable and the view is pleasant, making you forget the hustle and bustle of the city in an instant. At night, the kaiseki cuisine provided by the hotel is even more amazing, and each dish is exquisite and delicious. 🍱
The most anticipated thing is to enjoy the fun of soaking in the snow in the outdoor hot springs. The steaming hot spring water and the falling snowflakes interweave to make people intoxicated and completely relax their body and mind. This unique experience is really wonderful and is especially suitable for couples to share a romantic time together. ❤️

Kawagoe Hikawa Shrine has a large and impressive torii gate. Within the shrine grounds, there is also a monument to Okura Yamanoue's poem and Kakinomoto no Hitomaro Shrine, so you can stroll around while immersing yourself in history and culture. This shrine is famous for matchmaking, and the fortune slips were very cute.

It's a little far from Kawagoe Station, but on the day I visited, it was crowded with many young people. It is said that the god of marriage resides there, and I tried my luck with a sea bream fortune slip, which was very cute. The surrounding area is a residential area, so I recommend visiting the shrine in a quiet place.

Hikawa Jinja Shrine has a history of 1,500 years and is very effective. It has also been registered as a designated cultural heritage by Kawagoe City. It has the largest wooden torii in Japan (15 meters) and enshrines the couple gods.

Without the summer wind chimes, it is indeed less interesting, but the Tai Fish Fortune Lottery for good luck in love is indeed very cute 🤩 And the experience of watching the human-shaped paper flow away with the water, symbolizing that bad luck and filth also flow away with the water, is quite healing.

The bell clock tower that has been around since the Edo period
It rings four times a day (6:00, 12:00, 15:00, 18:00) depending on the time of day, so if you want to hear the bell, it's a good idea to time it accordingly.

As I walked around Kawagoe eating, I came across the Toki no Kane Bell. It had a very tasteful and calm appearance. There were many tourists taking photos under the Bell.

In the middle of Koedo Kawagoe Street, there is a famous clock called Toki no Chime. A smaller version of this clock can also be seen at Kawagoe Station!

I've been to the Kyoto Railway Museum, which is similar to the one in Omiya, with model exhibitions and simulated driving, but one thing they have in common is that children can drive real trains. We went early this time so we could buy train-shaped bento boxes. There are also joint tickets with the Kyoto Railway Museum. For railway fans, it is definitely worth a visit!

Located in the outskirts of Tokyo, Chichibu Mutsuyama Park, the most famous is the shiba cherry, blooming like a carpet when full of flowers, super beautiful, usually bloom in late April to May, this year may be warming, early April has opened a Part of it, just the cherry blossoms have not fallen, forming the beautiful scenery in the same frame, lucky 😍

Chichibu is very close to Tokyo city, Ikebukuro direct access, about 80 minutes to arrive, convenient transportation, "Sheep Mountain Park" is a landmark of Chichifu, especially the most famous for its Shichizakura carpet, every year the flower season attracts a large number of tourists to check in pilgrimage🤗
The park is large, fresh air, you will find green grass around, comfortable and relaxing!
