The hotel is just one street away from the pedestrian street, making shopping incredibly convenient. Airport shuttle buses J1 and J2 stop right at the bus station in front of the hotel. The hotel itself is clean, tidy, and comfortable, and the breakfast is quite good. The staff are warm, attentive, and patient.

Perfect stay with great services here. Sharing a room with an access card make you feel safe. Even the toilet is accessed with the card. Luggage storage is available and is secured by staff at the reception. Location beat hand down and we booked another night with private room. Only down side is a shared toilet.

We booked this 3 star hotel in Adelaide purely for its location close to an event we were attending. Upon arrival, we were surprised to find the lift was out of order. Thankfully, a second lift was operational but only with the down button, but it wasn’t the most welcoming start. Check in was handled by friendly staff who offered a warm smile, though nothing beyond the basics in terms of service. Once we reached our room on the 5th floor, it was hard to ignore the issues: part of the ceiling was missing and the carpets were noticeably dirty. While the room itself was functional, the bed felt more like a slab of timber than a mattress definitely not made for comfort. We left our bag and headed out, but I couldn’t shake the uneasy feeling the hotel gave me. Ultimately, we made the decision not to stay overnight and returned later to collect our bag and check out. This may be a suitable spot for some travellers who prioritise location above all else, but unfortunately, it wasn’t the right fit for us.

Excellent Stay at Stamford Hotel Adelaide I had a wonderful stay at the Stamford Hotel in Adelaide. The location is unbeatable – right in the heart of the city, just across from the casino and railway station, with plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. It’s incredibly convenient with easy access in every direction, whether you’re heading out for sightseeing, dining, or business. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the service was friendly and efficient. This has become my go-to place whenever I visit Adelaide, and I’ll definitely continue to stay here in the future. Highly recommended!

Highly recommended! I had a wonderful stay at the Intercontinental. The staff's exceptional responsiveness and attentiveness truly stood out. While things may not always go perfectly, they addressed my concerns quickly and made me feel genuinely welcomed - just like being at home. A special thanks to Jenny at the front office who thoughtfully arranged a room with a view of the riverside fireworks (a delightful surprise I wasn’t expecting). From check-in at the front desk to luggage delivery and even proactive messages letting me know I could reach out anytime, the entire team (Divya, Kenneth, Kimberly, Kendra) was consistently attentive and responsive. Though I only booked the basic room type, it was surprisingly spacious with a comfortable sofa and a convenient desk. The bathroom included both a tub and a shower. I truly appreciated the generous space and excellent service. Everything was too good! It was really great value for money. You simply cannot find a competitor in the city at the same price that offers such an outstanding level of service, space and amenities. Their dedication allowed me to relax and enjoy my stay with peace of mind. I would love to return! :) which I actually did extend my stay for a week ***

The hotel overall is nice and clean. The location is good and close to the city centre, however one of the conciege staff named Christopher is absolutely impolite and rude. We just parked our car in front of the spacious area for 10 mins only without blocking the road, and he told us straight away we can't park there. He should be more polite and ask us why we park there first but not starting off saying we can't park here without knowing the reason behind. He definitely needs to learn how to serve customer in a more nice and polite way.

Hotel service at concierge is excellent. Location is close to everything. Parking is convenient when you paid $60 per day. But the room described with city view is not really accurate. We were allocated with a room with not good view - construction site and garbage. Our room is a connect room. The sound insulation is very poor. The couple next door were fighting after 1am, which was quite disturbing.

I had a great stay here compared to most hotels where the room is spacious and there's a big window with sunlight coming through and they provide welcome snacks and water for free which is rare these days unless you stay at a 5 star hotel. I was happy with the friendly customer service and allowing to store my luggage before check in and after check out. What could be improved is a sign as soon as the lift was being fixed as I didn't know the lift wasn't working when I was waiting for it on level 3. The room tends to be stuffy when the air con isn't on and brings a stuff smell. Windows need to be opened if it would open. The hotel card is quite fiddly and takes a while to unlock, they need to replace with better cards and door signal. In saying that, I would stay again as it was a good experience overall compared to other hotels I stayed in. It's not far from IGA groceries and bus stops plus there's a shared area to cook your food.

Price good for the location.

A stunning hotel, from the moment you walk in it has luxury and upmarket feel. Room was Evelyn appointed, bed was very comfortable and large bathroom. The was very stylish and most importantly very quiet considering if its in a main city road. The roof top bar is the perfect place to eat and drink the afternoon away, with nice views. Would definitely recommend stay at the Mayfair.

This place is great value for money. Nice clean rooms and comfy beds. The down fall is they don't have a pool and don't have chairs to sit on the balcony. The main thing to avoid is the hotel restaurant, it is terrible!!! I order the calamari and it looked like a kids meal, over cooked, over priced and just bland. My husband ordered the grilled chicken, it was boiled chicken they took out of the freezer and put onto the grill to get few grill lines. It was still cold in the centre. Many better restaurants are located nearby.

The location was excellent: just one street away from Central Market and Chinatown, and very close to a tram station, making it super convenient for getting around the city. However, we were disappointed by the apartment, which we found very unwelcoming and dark. The bedroom had no windows, and the living room windows were permanently covered by curtains that couldn't be opened. This meant we had to keep the lights on all the time. In the living room, only one of the three ceiling lights was working, creating a rather gloomy atmosphere. The check-out time between 8 and 10 AM also seemed a bit too early for us. Considering the price, we would have liked to be able to linger a bit longer.

This is a great location and i enjoyed my stay albeit a couple of niggles. The shape of the room meant the TV was so far away from the bed. It seemed positioned perfectly to watch TV from the bath, but id rather have a comfortable viewing from the bed. It also meant two of us squeezed on to one side of the b Bed to be able to see the TV. The mattress was also uncomfortable and clearly needs replacing. It sloped one side and had a big bump in the centre. Overall a good hotel but I wouldn't stay in that specific room again.

I have stay at the Links hotel quite often without any issues, but this time was different. I booked through a booking website for 2 adults and 3 children, for 2 nights. First night was ok, came back 2nd day after going out for a while, aircon had been turned off, cleaners came in when we asked them not to, made 2 beds and left the double bed, didn’t clean anything at all and only left 2 towels. When I questioned the receptionist she said I only booked for 2 people for the 2nd night. And she was quite rude , yet I had confirmation on my phone otherwise. The booking company sent thru only 2 people for 2nd night. They got it wrong and I had no apology from her or any explanation of why the room was “cleaned “ like that . I’m not happy about it and doubt I’ll stay there again! 😡

The one-bedroom suite is booked, but I actually stayed in a 2-bedroom suite with a large balcony and a picturesque view. Although not in the urban area, the traffic is quite convenient, and you can get there by taking a bus from the city. There are woolworths supermarkets around. There is a washing and drying machine in the suite, the kitchen has a pot and bowl cutlery dishwasher, an electric cooker and an oven range hood, but there is no oil and salt sauce vinegar seasoning, no chopping board, no chopsticks, if you want to cook yourself, you need yourself. Buy, chopping board I asked the front desk to borrow, but it is not expected. Disposable slippers can ask the front desk, the quality is quite good. In short, very satisfied with the comfortable and cost-effective hotel.

No car park attached to hotel, have to drive to car park yourself or pay $55 for a chauffeur to drive it. Room service menu was fancy stuff from the downstairs restaurant. Nothing simple. Not even room service breakfast available. On the note of the restaurant downstairs this is where the “buffet” breakfast was and I use that term loosely. Shocking variety. Even have to do our own coffees right in a tiny corner of the the room. One coffee at a time while the line gets bigger. We have to get a special order for eggs because the scrambled eggs are just mush. At least the toaster worked. And the space fits maybe 20 which is fine for a B&B but not for a 16 floor hotel. We had to have breakfast at 8 to avoid the crowds waiting at 9 and later. In the room itself (we had a suite), there were light switches EVERYWHERE. And they were all so confusing as you couldn’t see what they said. Then the one in the bathroom you had to walk in and close the door to access it. No fan ventilation for showers. Bath mats being so thin gets immediately soaked after one shower. No face washers. Bench was too low for a bathroom. Hand towels way too low. The size of the bathroom was nice though and the shower pressure was good. TV remote didn’t work properly, could not find all amenities like coffee, tea, fridge even etc. No nice hotel guide folder to help us out. The “desk” was the tv cabinet when there was plenty of space in the lounge area to have a desk. Then we had a balcony with no chairs or table to sit at (can easily have some out there and bolt them down for safety). The temperature stuff don’t even get me started. Uncomfy beds and flat pillows. I ended up sleeping on the lounger as it was more comfortable. I don’t think I’ll be back anytime soon. Wasn’t horrible but wasn’t great. The staff were nice though which was a nice change

The location is excellent, right by Glenelg Beach. Supermarkets and restaurants are all within a 5-10 minute walk. Driving to Adelaide city center or the airport takes only 15 to 30 minutes. The hotel also has a casino and a bar where you can enjoy a drink or try your luck. While the hotel shows its age a bit, it's clean and the rooms are spacious enough. Breakfast was just average, with limited food choices, but the view was lovely. The paid parking lot is not in the same building as the hotel; it's across the street, about 30 steps away, so you'll need to carry your luggage over.

Great place to stay in town I had a one bedroomed apartment and it was fabulous. The room was spacious, fully equipped , and a great shower, and the bed was fabulous. The sheets and towels were of good quality, and I slept like a baby! The laundry was a brilliant addition, as was the servicing of the apartment. The staff were friendly, professional, and helpful. I really appreciated being able to store my luggage, too The only downside could be the location , as it is on a very noisy main street (Hindley St is full of food places, and there was a busy bar directly opposite the entrance). It didn't really bother me, but I could see it affecting families. All in all, I think it was fabulous value, and I would recommend it .

It was ok, but not more. The two most important things for me in any hotel are a comfortable bed and a good shower. the bed was great but the water pressure in the shower was very poor. Aside from that, there were other issues that I would not expect from a hotel of this standard, carrying the prices it does. The TV power button did not work, neither did any of the top buttons on the remote. Once I turned the TV on at the GPO and then on the actual TV itself, I was unable to use the connected DVD player as the buttons to switch to it on the remote did not work. Breakfast was quite poor. Basically cereal or scrambled eggs with a few other options such as fruit cups, yoghurt and biscuits. It served my purpose being close to the convention centre, but I doubt I'd stay there again.

In the living room, only one of the three ceiling lights was working, creating a rather gloomy atmosphere. The check-out time between 8 and 10 AM also seemed a bit too early for us. Considering the price, we would have liked to be able to linger a bit longer.

GGuest UserThe location was excellent: just one street away from Central Market and Chinatown, and very close to a tram station, making it super convenient for getting around the city. A fantastic hotel, with quiet rooms and friendly staff. Rooms have everything for Travelers. Really tasty food as well - one of the best ”Schnitzel” in the World! (On some days with special food offers). A warm atmosphere with some ”Art Deco” elements. Highly recommend!

Stay overall was great and good location but nothing was open on Sunday to get food or drink in the hotel. Also housekeeping only if requested which we didn’t know so by the time we realised it was check out time. Would definitely stay again. Car park next to hotel was only $5/ day on weekend.

Didn't take many photos. The environment was comfortable, dinner was delicious, and breakfast was standard (cereal, toast, milk, jam, butter, small cakes). This place is definitely worth the price.
