Superior Two Queen Room is spacious - love the walk-in closet where we can put our luggages. Spotlessly clean except the carpet which looks a bit old and tired. Central location just opposite Railway Station. No microwave or bowls and plates inside the room, but there's a microwave that we can use on Level 1. Great service, they allowed us to check-in early as both our toddler & baby were sleeping when we arrived at 10am and our room was ready. They also allowed luggage storage after we checked out in the morning and wanted to explore the city for a few more hours. Review of Stay at Stamford Plaza Adelaide (24–28 August 2025)
The hotel enjoys an excellent location right in Adelaide’s city centre.
The front desk staff made a strong impression, especially Luke and Iris, who went above and beyond during my stay. On 25 August, when I developed a skin allergy, Luke responded swiftly, recommending a nearby clinic and checking in on my condition with genuine care. Iris was equally attentive — she quickly resolved an air-conditioning issue by arranging a room change, and later, when the lifts were out of order, she promptly guided guests to use the staff lift. Their professionalism and kindness were greatly appreciated.
Overall, the hotel would benefit from refurbishment to match the outstanding service provided by its staff.
However, while the service was commendable, the rooms did not meet basic five-star standards. Cleanliness was below expectations, and the shower design caused water to spill into the toilet area. Highly recommended! I had a wonderful stay at the Intercontinental.
The staff's exceptional responsiveness and attentiveness truly stood out. While things may not always go perfectly, they addressed my concerns quickly and made me feel genuinely welcomed - just like being at home.
A special thanks to Jenny at the front office who thoughtfully arranged a room with a view of the riverside fireworks (a delightful surprise I wasn’t expecting). From check-in at the front desk to luggage delivery and even proactive messages letting me know I could reach out anytime, the entire team (Divya, Kenneth, Kimberly, Kendra) was consistently attentive and responsive.
Though I only booked the basic room type, it was surprisingly spacious with a comfortable sofa and a convenient desk. The bathroom included both a tub and a shower.
I truly appreciated the generous space and excellent service. Everything was too good! It was really great value for money. You simply cannot find a competitor in the city at the same price that offers such an outstanding level of service, space and amenities.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel, however I had to ask for a room clean services on two separate days because they hadn't arrived yet - which was disappointing for a hotel in this level even if it was fully booked. Also, I had no help with my luggage when I arrived there, even though the bedroom had a sleeping gallery and I was a bit surprised to have to carry everything myself in a suitcase (with lots of steps). Great place to stay in town
I had a one bedroomed apartment and it was fabulous. The room was spacious, fully equipped , and a great shower, and the bed was fabulous. The sheets and towels were of good quality, and I slept like a baby!
The laundry was a brilliant addition, as was the servicing of the apartment.
The staff were friendly, professional, and helpful. I really appreciated being able to store my luggage, too
The only downside could be the location , as it is on a very noisy main street (Hindley St is full of food places, and there was a busy bar directly opposite the entrance). It didn't really bother me, but I could see it affecting families.

The location is excellent, right next to the beach where little one can play in the playground. It’s a good spot to see the sun set though. Drive to harbour town is only 6 mins. The apartment has everything we need, I didn’t use the laundry though, as it looks like the washing machine is operated by a couple of coins which I didn’t bother to do😂. I would recommend this place , quiet and family friendly. The only drawback I would say is the floor is a bit too dirty ( properly only be vacuumed) My little one likes running around with bare feet, after she walks around the apartment I can barely see her feet 😜 I didn’t know Launceston street is actually more clean than an apartment floor before.SOLD OUT

The one-bedroom suite is booked, but I actually stayed in a 2-bedroom suite with a large balcony and a picturesque view. Although not in the urban area, the traffic is quite convenient, and you can get there by taking a bus from the city. There are woolworths supermarkets around. There is a washing and drying machine in the suite, the kitchen has a pot and bowl cutlery dishwasher, an electric cooker and an oven range hood, but there is no oil and salt sauce vinegar seasoning, no chopping board, no chopsticks, if you want to cook yourself, you need yourself. Buy, chopping board I asked the front desk to borrow, but it is not expected. Disposable slippers can ask the front desk, the quality is quite good. No car park attached to hotel, have to drive to car park yourself or pay $55 for a chauffeur to drive it. Room service menu was fancy stuff from the downstairs restaurant. Nothing simple. Not even room service breakfast available. On the note of the restaurant downstairs this is where the “buffet” breakfast was and I use that term loosely. Shocking variety. Even have to do our own coffees right in a tiny corner of the the room. One coffee at a time while the line gets bigger. We have to get a special order for eggs because the scrambled eggs are just mush. At least the toaster worked. And the space fits maybe 20 which is fine for a B&B but not for a 16 floor hotel. We had to have breakfast at 8 to avoid the crowds waiting at 9 and later. In the room itself (we had a suite), there were light switches EVERYWHERE. And they were all so confusing as you couldn’t see what they said. Then the one in the bathroom you had to walk in and close the door to access it. No fan ventilation for showers. Bath mats being so thin gets immediately soaked after one shower. No face washers. Bench was too low for a bathroom. Hand towels way too low. The size of the bathroom was nice though and the shower pressure was good. TV remote didn’t work properly, could not find all amenities like coffee, tea, fridge even etc. No nice hotel guide folder to help us out. The “desk” was the tv cabinet when there was plenty of space in the lounge area to have a desk. Then we had a balcony with no chairs or table to sit at (can easily have some out there and bolt them down for safety). The temperature stuff don’t even get me started. Uncomfy beds and flat pillows. I ended up sleeping on the lounger as it was more comfortable.
I don’t think I’ll be back anytime soon. Wasn’t horrible but wasn’t great. The staff were nice though which was a nice changeFromTWD 4,017

Surprisingly this is a very cool hotel and it had amenities like the gym which is pretty big and quite surprising. The apartment I had was a two bedroom apartment. However, it was located in the basement and just beside the car park but that didn't stop me from having a wonderful time there. The location is great and this is located near Weymouth Street which is quite central considering it's location and distance to Chinatown. I booked a 4-person room with breakfast for 2 nights, but the front desk said it wasn't included. When I showed them the reservation I brought with me, they went to the back to check, and finally gave me a voucher. (However, it was only for 1 night, and only 2 vouchers.) I'm glad I printed out the reservation confirmation and went there, but I don't think I'll come back again.FromTWD 4,017

The overall experience swings to both extremes — some things were very good, while others were quite disappointing.
Good:
New and Modern interior design, especially impressive for a motel-rated property.
Spacious room with an exceptionally comfortable bed.
Wide variety of in-room beverages.
Concierge staff were very friendly and helpful.
Free parking for motel guests (unlike the sister hotels, which charge $15 for 24 hours).
Bad:
No self-service laundry — a major drawback for a motel. I had to walk 480m to a public laundromat on first day.. then only learned that we can use laundry service at sister hotel.
Poorly designed shower area. The shower platform is higher than the toilet section, causing water to flow out into the toilet area instead of towards the drain — very odd design.
Internet is weak, unstable, and slow. If your child wants to play Roblox… forget it.
Housekeeping needs significant improvement. They didn’t wash the mugs and glasses, didn’t clear used plates, didn’t sweep the floor, and didn’t replace the trash bag — they only changed the towels.FromTWD 3,006

at the center of North Terrace, the location of the hotel is very convenient. It takes 15m from airport by vehicle and only 5m to tram and trail station on foot. equipments in the room are fully prepared and easy to use. the only cons is thin wall of washroom, which causes a little noise when someone is using the toilet.FromTWD 4,017

Chose this hotel as we were taking the coach / ferry to kangaroo island early in the morning and this is literally right across the road. So location for this was excellent but quite a walk to main shopping and dining area at Rundle Street especially in the cold and rainy weather. Apartment was spacious but we were quite disturbed by the numerous appearances made by cockfriacges!!! Also was very surprised when we left at 615am the reception was still not open! Imagine if we had to leave luggage to be stored!!! That would have bern quite a disaster!FromTWD 3,432
