Received the instructions to check in days before our stay, and instructions are super clear.
The house is very clean, and comes with everything we need - stove, washer and other basics. Ground floor is the living hall and bathroom, upstairs there’s one bedroom and outer area where are floor bed are placed.
We went there with average temperature of 4 degrees so the floor were freezing cold and it took a while to activate the heat.
Location wise pretty good, right opposite there’s a 7-11, and down the street 10-15 mins walk there’s the Hikawa Clock Shop, but we don’t see any restaurant nearby maybe because we were there during New Year closure

Spacious and clean house right opposite a convenience store, great loation. Step outside and can see Mount Fuji. Within 15mins walk to Mount Fuji train and bus station.

It's just a few minutes away from Fujisan Station, a bit like a motel. The room is quite large, and there is a dry and wet separation. It provides a simple breakfast. If you can't book a room in Kawaguchiko, this is a good choice

The hotel has a large bath and ample room space.
There are not many places in the parking lot, first come first served
It’s one minute walk to Family Mart, five minutes to 7-11, and ten minutes to Donki.
The hotel's location is very convenient, with many convenience stores and fast food restaurants within ten minutes.
Fuji-Q amusement park is not far away and can be seen from every room

It is very close to Fuji-Q Highland, and it is estimated that it only takes about ten minutes to walk. Fortunately, the house facing Mount Fuji has a super beautiful view and can face Mount Fuji directly. The front desk clerk was very careful and explained how to use the facilities in the store.

Our stay in this beautiful home was perfect. The host came to greet us at the door, and ensured our comfort. We did not speak the same language, so we used translators to communicate with each other. Everything at the house was extremely clean. He will help you with any problems. He tried to help order us a taxi, but then drove us to Fuji Station. He was extremely kind, and I would love to stay at his home again in the future.

One thing that’s best - Mount Fuji view when the weather is good. It seemed like just right in front of you.
No matter from the room or the 4th floor restaurant where we had our breakfast or even the open rooftop.
Rooms was clean, top class in-room amenities provided, very good buffet breakfast with scenic view overlooking Mount Fuji and staffs were friendly and helpful. We got free parking in front of the hotel throughout our 2 nights stay.
There were so much you could do while staying at this hotel. Whether you want to enjoy the beautiful Mount Fuji with coffee brew in your room, or get discounted price + early entry to the amusement park right beside the hotel, or enjoy the onsen hot pool next to the hotel.
They even send us to the top of Fujiyama Tower complimentary and there you’ll have a stunning view of Mount Fuji and the amusement park, plus you’re able greet to the riders of the king of coaster when it pass by.

It was a perfect stay at Bessho Sasa my family and I really appreciated the superb service the staff provided my family (I travelled with my 88-year old mum so we had quite a lot of needs) with. I had left some items in the room and they promptly had it couriered to me in Tokyo. The dinners each night were very well prepared, each day was fun-filled with so many activities. Recommend by my friend on this hotel and book the room for triple. Made the right choice as there is more space and able to watch Mt Fuji right in my room. It is a 5mins walk from Fuji-Q station. Hotel does provide free shuttle bus to Kawaguchiko station but need advanced booking. There are free amenities and there is public onsen for a relaxing evening after one whole day of sightseeing. We booked the breakfast and dinner buffets. Dinner was good because of the beef, however the menu doesn’t change hence, we got tired of eating the same food but given no choice as there are not much eateries around. Wish the menu can change abit. Overall, we are lucky to get a clear view of mt Fuji on 1st day.. then was hit by typhoon ended next 3 days can’t see much. Went to the amusement park to play the rides which was fun if you are daring. Staff are very friendly. Will highly recommend this hotel.FromTWD 3,948

The villa has a little bit distance from the train station. Need to take a bus and walk a little bit to reach. It does allow early check in before 3pm but with extra charge, check in after 8pm also has extra charge; so ideally it is better to check in within 3pm-8pm. The room is okay, but the room I got was not able to view the whole fuji mountain from the balcony (I got the far end lot 😭), otherwise everything is fine.FromTWD 4,845

This hotel is amazing, it didn’t even mention online that it has an Onsen and some of the rooms have a perfect view of Mount Fuji.
There is only 10 minute walk to Fuji-Q highland although unfortunately the weather was so bad we couldn’t see Mount Fuji or anything for that matter, and also could not go to Fuji-Q Highland because of the weather.
With that said the hotel does not make the weather, it is pretty convenient, although the walk may be a bit far for older persons.
Thankyou very much for our stay, we will return in 2028 as our trip to Japan has been so good that we are planning our return already. Hopefully we can do the stuff we missed out on this time.FromTWD 2,194

I stayed at Fujisan Station Hotel and found it quite convenient overall. The location is excellent, just across from Mt. Fuji Station, making it very easy to get around. Check-in was done with the staff and went smoothly. Free parking is available, which is a plus. There is no onsen and no complimentary bottled water, but there is a free ice machine in the dining area, along with vending machines for snacks and drinks. The water faucet is an old-style rotary type.
Breakfast starts at 7:00 AM, but food runs out quickly due to the large number of guests. The buffet includes scrambled eggs, grilled mackerel, rice, miso soup, salad, fresh milk, and granola. The small bread rolls and mini croissants were not very good. The twin room was clean, but the beds were quite firm and not very comfortable.FromTWD 2,108

The room is pretty standard for a guesthouse. The layout of the room I booked wasn't ideal, with the head of the bed facing the toilet. However, the bed faced a balcony with a large marble bathtub, which was quite fun to fill yourself for a soak. There was also a shower that sprayed like rain, and cherry blossoms and leaves would occasionally fall from the tree overhead, along with a few bugs – understandable, given its location at the foot of the mountain. Overall, it was decent. But the soundproofing was terrible; the snoring from both neighboring rooms created a symphony! What’s more, the clothes from the washing machine still smelled like poop. I ended up using the marble bathtub for washing and drying clothes, which was a novel experience, to say the least. It’s more of a guesthouse than a hotel. Be cautious about using the 600 yen laundry and drying service, because, well, it might smell like poop…FromTWD 1,607

I had a great stay at this hotel. The location is very convenient, just a short walk from the train station, which made traveling around really easy. One of the best parts was the stunning view of Mount Fuji — you can see it clearly right from the hotel, especially on a clear day.

Many people criticize this B&B, so I'll say a few fair words. First of all, the landlord is an auntie who speaks a little English but not Chinese. She chatted with me in English when I checked in. Because it's a homestay, there are many rules, such as no smoking, throwing towels in a bamboo basket after taking a shower, trying to be quiet after 11pm, washing dishes after breakfast, etc. I live with my son, and these rules are not a big problem for us, so I feel good overall.
