３ Family travel, the location is very easy to understand, the parking lot is large, and it is easy to park. The room is also very clean, 々 by toilet and bathroom, easy to use. Easy check-in and check-out, and the owner is very kind, so it was the best night of the trip this time. I want to use it again from now on.

In order to not affect the New Year's Eve neighbors choose independent villas. The room was clean and the facilities were great. The introduction of the service staff was also very detailed and recommended the local delicious and fun. In short, I felt that a very cost-effective stay experience. If I have the opportunity to go to Hanguan in the future, I will definitely choose this villa.

The hotel has a not to be missed ocean view, but the food variety turns out to be the disappointment. Not so much of choice when comparing it with other ryukan. Another places for your attention is that the toilet and the room has a very strong and unpleasant urine smell. Though I cannot find any uncleaned spots in the toilet, the odor is simply untolerable. The onsen at the balcony has human hair from probably the previous customer and the hotel should do better in cleaning it. Food: 7/10 Service: 8.5/10 Hygiene: 5/10 View: 10/10

The room was quite spacious. There were coffee beans in the drawer, so we could enjoy coffee and admire the snowy view from our room during the heavy snow. The front desk staff on the first floor were very polite and answered all our questions. Given the cold weather, the free-flow coffee, made with famous Hokkaido coffee beans, was a nice touch. Dinner was at the second-floor restaurant, featuring simple appetizers, a beef hot pot, and all-you-can-eat sushi. I'm not sure if it was because of New Year's Eve, but the service was incredibly slow; several Japanese groups who arrived after us had already finished their meals, and we had only been served three dishes. On the ninth floor, there are three private baths, which were very comfortable for my family to relax and chat in. There's ice cream available for self-service on the tenth floor. After 9:30 PM, the hotel offers warm and comforting ramen, which was a thoughtful touch. There's a convenience store right across from the hotel, and the Kanemori Red Brick Warehouses are about a five-minute walk straight ahead. Next door, there's a yakiniku restaurant. I initially thought we wouldn't find any hot food open on New Year's Day, but surprisingly, it was open and there was no queue. For that alone, I'd give it a big thumbs up!

All I can say is your whole package is excellent. I enjoyed your services and amenities very much. Staff working at Front desk, F&B and housekeeping are really dedicated to their job duties. They are really professional and helpful. Shall give them a credit 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽. The idea of Local Rhythm Night is unexpectedly great. This activity is quite new and unique. Should thank to the hotel management introducing this idea. The round free bus is also perfect for travelers. I hope you will consider to fix this service in a regular basis. If you're staying at this hotel, definitely opt for the breakfast package; the buffet has a wide variety of choices. The location is super convenient, right across from the JR station. The service is professional, and while the facilities aren't brand new, they're very well-maintained and clean. I'd choose this hotel again if I go back to Hakodate.

The view is absolutely unbeatable! I stayed in the annex last time, and while the main building is a bit dated, the incredible scenery makes up for everything. The room size was just right, and the cleanliness was acceptable. Breakfast was definitely plentiful and delicious, better than the annex in my opinion, but in other aspects, the annex was superior. The front desk staff were quite good, but the other staff were just so-so, treating both Japanese and foreigners with the same rather indifferent attitude. Also, there's no private onsen (hot spring bath). Checkout was super easy and self-service.

The hotel is just next to the station. We arrived by train on a windy and rainy day and were thankful that it’s just a short walk to the hotel. The room is spacious and the onsen is nice. The carpet is stained but we understand it’s common for hotel after some years. The hotel staff were helpful when we enquire about directions and asked to borrow umbrellas too. Though it rained on both days that we were in Hakodate, we still enjoyed ourselves using the city tram, which station is about 3mins walk across the Jr station. The market is also just less about 3mins walk away. Overall, we enjoyed our stay with the hotel and will stay here again if ever return and will recommend to friends.

The room was huge. Outdoor onsen was super comfortable. Buffet spread was awesome. It was so delicious that you keep going for more servings. Food were freshly made and often replenish. The hotel service staff were also polite and welcoming. There were welcoming drinks and kombu soup at lobby. Our hotel is right in front of bus stop from airport so its super convenient and you don’t need to drag your luggage too far. The botanical garden is across the street. You can see monkeys in the park too.

The hotel's location is quite good, close to both Hakodate Station and the airport. You can walk to the station, and a taxi to the airport isn't overly expensive. However, I'm not sure why all the hotels were fully booked in early May. I stayed for two days but had to book different room types. The front desk surprisingly said they couldn't arrange for me to stay in the same room. This meant checking out at 11 AM the day before, leaving my luggage at the front desk, going out for four hours, and then returning to the hotel at 3 PM to check in again, which was quite inconvenient. The facilities are a bit old, and there was a damp smell in the hallway. However, the toiletries were all Pola, which was a pleasant surprise. But the hotel didn't offer complimentary bottled water, so I had to buy it from a convenience store or vending machine outside.

This is definitely my favorite hotel in Hakodate! The hotel is stylish, modern, and feels brand new. We stayed in the tatami room, which was incredibly comfortable for our family of five. The room was spacious and even had a dining area, making it perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a wide variety of delicious Japanese and Western dishes to choose from. The onsen was another highlight of our stay—clean, relaxing, and definitely a must-try! Overall, everything exceeded our expectations. If we're lucky enough to visit Hakodate again, we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended for families!

One of the male staff was quite unfriendly and kept repeating “no early check-in” when we were just asking whether we could store our luggage before check-in. He seemed quite impatient throughout. However, the rest of the staff were good, and even lent us a knife and cutting board to cut the melon we bought. Location is great, right beside the morning market, and only about a 7-minute walk to the JR station. We came during spring so the walk was totally fine.

I stayed for three nights in a king-size bed room, room 422. On the morning of July 21, 2026, I saw a maid tidying up the room next door, so I told her I was on a multi-night stay and didn't need my room cleaned, just a bottle of water. Then I changed my mind and asked for the water for the third day as well. She responded rather rudely, curtly refusing me with 'no,' stating that only one bottle was given per day. She didn't use polite language and had a completely different demeanor from the other hotel staff. The maid on the second day, however, was very polite. She proactively asked if I needed a bottle of water. I said no, but she thoughtfully left bathrobes, towels, and water outside my room door later. Although I didn't use them, her service felt warm and considerate.
