From the moment I stepped through the doors of Baiyun Hotel, I knew this was going to be a special stay. Everything—from the service to the room to the food—was flawless. I honestly cannot find a single thing to complain about.
First Impressions:
The lobby is stunning—elegant, warm, and beautifully lit, with a subtle signature scent that made the whole place feel luxurious. A staff member greeted me by name before I even reached the front desk. Check-in took less than five minutes, and I was offered a welcome drink and a cold towel while I waited.
The Room:
I was upgraded to a Deluxe Suite, and it was incredible. The room was spacious, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully designed, with a separate living area, a huge comfortable bed, and a marble bathroom featuring both a rain shower and a deep soaking tub. The amenities were top-tier, and the turndown service included a small local dessert and a handwritten note. The view from my window was spectacular, especially at sunset.
The Food:
Breakfast was a feast—an extensive buffet with everything from fresh sushi to made-to-order waffles, plus a barista who made a perfect flat white. I also had dinner at the hotel's restaurant, and it was genuinely one of the best meals of my trip. The chef even came out to check on the guests, which was a lovely touch.
The Service:
This is where Baiyun Hotel truly shines. Every single staff member I encountered was warm, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care about my experience. The concierge arranged last-minute tickets for me, the housekeeping team remembered I preferred extra pillows, and the front desk followed up to make sure everything was perfect. It felt personal, not scripted.
