We stayed at Golden Lotus Villas in Koh Samui for our honeymoon and overall had a really great experience (around 8.5/10).
The highlight of the stay was definitely the view, the pool, and the size of the villa. The place is huge — it has two large master bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and shower, plus two balconies. There are also three 65-inch smart TVs, which made it feel very modern and comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped too, including a dishwasher and a microwave, which was very convenient. Waking up to that view and having a private pool was honestly amazing.
In terms of service, there’s one main on-site manager who is available via WhatsApp, and the owners also reached out to check if we needed anything, which was a really nice touch. We did have an issue with the electricity bill — it’s charged separately at 9 THB per unit, and our meter reading seemed unusually high. But to their credit, they handled it well and gave us a discount, which made us feel a lot better about the situation. One important thing to note is that pretty much every service is charged separately, so don’t expect things like daily housekeeping to be included.
The main downside is the location. The villa is on a very steep hill, so you’ll need a scooter or taxi to get there. If you’re riding as a couple, you’ll definitely want a stronger bike, and honestly it can feel a bit dangerous going up and down.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this place, especially for families or groups, because of how big and well-equipped the villa is. If you’re okay with the steep access and transportation aspect, the views and space make it worth it.

Excellent villa, it has everything you need for a long stay: microwave, electric stove, dishes, coffee machine, shower gel, soap. Great view from the balcony. Beach towels provided. Excellent bed, pillows, and clean linen. The only downside was the high electricity charge for our 4-day stay – 2600 Baht. No charge for water.
