Overall really nice and centrally located hotel. Close to the main railway station. All floors have different themes related to Finnish nature (Winter storm, Midsummer, Fairytale forest, Sisu, Tranquility) and the front desk let us choose between a couple of themes. We weren't sure what they were going to be like, but chose Fairytale forest, which was ok. The room was a bit on the small side and with a view to an inner courtyard - however this was to be expected with the room type. The room was really quiet, which was a bonus in the middle of the city! Breakfast was nice, mostly European style with breads etc. Would definitely recommend the hotel for the central location and Finnish style, if you want to experience that.

Breakfast is considered a variety of European hotels, and tastes good. The room was quiet and very clean. Located in the city centre, 10 minutes from the Central Railway Station. Adjacent to the kamppi shopping mall, the picture is on the right side. Shopping is convenient. not bad!

The location is great, it is the most lively location in Helsinki, just a few hundred meters away from the lv store. We can see the church in the attic sky room, and there are seagulls flying from the window from time to time. Opposite the hotel is a small park. It was also seen that there was a wedding there, and it was a small church with a green top. The last picture is the street where the hotel is located, and the green top is the church that is next to it. On the top of the bed and on the top of the shower room are clear glass, you can see the blue sky is super like. When you are lying in bed or going to the bathroom, you can see the church outside the window. The facilities are very smart. The skylights on the top of the bed have electric curtains. Don't worry that the transparent top is too bright. I really like this small Nordic loft. It’s really a small but complete sparrow. The hotel front desk lady is very enthusiastic. The whole hotel feels very good, the breakfast waiter is very warm, but we only stayed for one night on Friday, because it was full on Saturday night, if I stayed here next time.

Very nice hotel, sauna facilities are especially comfortable. Is a hotel where the Tep officials live.

The good: Pre stay communication with the hotel was done smoothly and the reception replied quickly to my email. In my email I requested an early check-in as well as a table reservation from the Brasserie restaurant. The receptionist said that the staff would do their best in order to accommodate my early check in request and booked the table from the restaurant for me. When I arrived at the hotel this was true and I was given my room at 1 pm, so 2 hours prior to standard check-in time. The receptionist who checked me in was very kind and tried to speak Swedish with me. She also remembered that I had stayed there before and said welcome back to me. She also said that it would be fine if I checked out an hour later so at 1 pm. The room was upgraded one category up from deluxe to premium deluxe. In addition, there was a greeting card from the General manager welcoming me back to Helsinki and a small box of chocolates which was a nice touch. The Spa at the hotel is absolutely fabulous and it’s a nice place to relax after a busy day. Always worth the visit. The receptionist who checked me out was very kind and remembered to welcome me back again. The bad: Overall, I had a very good stay here. There weren’t any major flaws during my stay, but there were some mistakes done by the restaurant Brasserie kitchen in my food order. However, the restaurant waiters were very kind and apologetic. They even offered me a complimentary salad while I waited for my dinner order to get corrected.

One of the best hotels I've been. The staff is always available, smiling and helpful. I had problems with the room which they immediately took care of. The food is very tasty but the same everyday. The rooms are always clean and good looking. This is actually my second time there and I will definetly come back!

This hotel is beautiful! We loved staying here for a night in March. The included breakfast was one of the best I had while visiting Finland. It had a great selection of fresh food and the dining area was nice. Our sauna in our room was the major reason I booked this hotel, and it was well worth it. Even though it was winter and snowing outside, the balcony was a great feature. After having the sauna on for a while, the room got pretty hot, so I got to open the doors and feel the icy air come into the room. So relaxing. One thing that got old was the videos of the other resorts on repeat in the elevator and dining area. We loved the Sami music playing in the room upon check in though. It was a great touch.

Reviews From Real Travelers
There are vacations you take, hotels you stay in and people you meet who enhance the overall experience exponentially. This was all true of our exceptional time in Helsinki and a large part of this experience was owed to our wonderful 3-day stay at Hotel F6. A large amount of this is owed to the sterling staff -- among the elites in all our travels. Our story started a day before our actual stay, when we requested to store extra luggage before our overnight trip to Tallinn, Estonia. Without hesitation, the staff agreed to watch over our large luggage for free before our actual check-in the next day. This kind act greatly helped us during our mini cruise to Estonia. The following day, during our check-in, we met Ida, who became not only our Helsinki dining expert, but also a great person to get to know all around. Ida helped secure every reservation for our culinary journey from the first night. She is an exceptional employee and a great asset to an already amazing staff. We thank her for making our stay at F6 so comfortable and fun. Eimer was also friendly and full of help for restaurant ideas. We appreciate his fun demeanor and fun conversation. Our room was very conveniently located on the first level -- very spacious, clean and so easy to come and go. The hotel layout, especially the lobby and dining/lounge area were easy to access. The complimentary breakfast was fresh, well presented and very flavorful. Perhaps the best breakfast in town. Is this the best hotel in Helsinki? Let's just say the competition is slim. :-)

Staycation at Hotel F6 exceeded my expectations. During the past 3 years I have been few times on a staycation and Hotel F6 met all of my expectations. Smooth check-in, pre-ordered sparkling wine was waiting in the room (chilled), room was spacious and lovely. Little things as just perfect temperature and quietness combined to nice firm bed were a nice surprise since it’s rears to find hotel room with just perfect temperature. Location is very central and convenient. Not to make fellow Tripadvisor users suspect that this is a paid review, two things which were not to my liking: 1) Cocktails in the bar were a bit bleak and mine had a hint of a toilet cleaner taste in it. 2) Sausages were missed at the breakfast (essential part of traditional Finnish hotel breakfast).

The scenery of the hotel is superb, even if we stayed in winter, the beauty of the lake cannot be concealed. The service of the hotel is also very good, and the free apples are very delicious. The hotel lobby has a typical Nordic style, warm and practical. It is very pleasant to take a walk by the lake and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
- Let’s relax-好吧
Very typical European hotel. Comfortable. There are free apples, coffee and more. Some restaurants on the first floor are small enough. Not far from the lake, you can take a walk by the lake.

The team is super friendly & warm - always smiling & assisting with questions, directions & suggestions. Clean Rooms With 100% noise cutting windows. We stayed in the basic room facing the road & slept blissfully all nights. The Marski has the best best breakfast spread I have ever seen in a hotel in all my 27 years of travel. They have options for every kind of guest. It's unbelievably thoughtful Though we didn't go to the bar, it was packed most evenings with DJ music playing & gave the hotel a lively atmosphere

The hotel is a bit old, but the room is spacious. We can eat in the restaurant on the first floor in the evening. The service is good and the breakfast is rich. Since it didn't look particularly good, I looked at it and took pictures. The transportation is relatively close to the Central Railway Station and major attractions: the Red Church and the White Church are within walking distance and you can go shopping. On the return trip, you can choose to take a taxi back to the hotel.

GLO Hotel Kluuvi is an excellent choice for a weekend in Helsinki. First reason is location. 7-10 min walk from the central train station, trams right outside the door, numerous restaurants next door, 5 min walk to the cathedral and 7-10 min walk to market square. Second reason is the price. We stayed in shoulder season, and payed about $150 per night including taxes and fees, internet and breakfast. Third reason is breakfast. Hotel breakfast saves you money, but it’s even better when it’s good. Their buffet offered hot foods (eggs, bacon, sausages and veggies), cereals, cheese, meat, breads, fruit, coffee/tea, and even custom juice from a dispenser controlled by an iPad app. They also had special dietary options including gluten free and lactose free. Fourth reason is the rooms. They were comfortable and spacious with all needed amenities. Overall we are thrilled with our choice to stay at GLO and would stay again.

We travelled as a family in August 2022. We had already book a Junior Suite and my top tier of IHG Status was not really recognised except for the breakfast. There was no room upgrade offered nor were there any extra amenities for the room or even a welcome letter. We did have access to The Club Lounge which had limited breakfast choices and then a decent evening buffet between 6pm and 8pm. The lounge was rarely staffed and the door was left open so I am unsure if all those in the lounge enjoying the beer and wine had full entitlement. It would have been nice if the desk in the lounge had been manned at certain times. The staff we met were all most friendly. The breakfast on the ground floor could not be faulted. Service was polite and most efficient. Cooked eggs were available on request. Vegans had a wide choice and this part of the hotel ran well. The hotel boasted the IHG Clean Promise. There were areas that needed attention. When I advised staff that the lifts were dirty and used glasses were in corridors this was attended to promptly. Moving forward the hotel needs to promote itself better. There are empty poster display cabinets everywhere. They could be used to promote the health club, restaurants and room service. If visiting the Hotel we recommend the restaurant Kuu which is opposite the side entrance of the Hotel. Booking is advised.

Stayed here for one night, picked the location to be close range to Espoo. As a Hilton Honors member I was gifted with a bag of water at check in, always a nice gesture. Front desk staff was very courteous both checking in and out. The room was nice, plenty of spaces to sit and counters/tables to lay your stuff out. Bathroom was not so nice. Very quiet to sleep, but the bed was tad too hard for my liking. Restaurant and bar were located outside at another structure. Food was very expensive but very good. Bar was tiny, but had a nice view to the ocean. Breakfast was located next to the lobby, and was hands down wonderful! Many options to choose from, options for people with food sensitivities as well. Very attentive staff, was asked my room number 3 different times.

The hotel is not in the city center but it takes more than 20 minutes by bus, opposite is the forest. The room is on the first floor, the windows can be locked, there is no kettle, it may be borrowed at the front desk, the room is not large, the water heater may not be the conventional method of opening and closing, so I do n’t know if the phone came in at night and asked if I knew the front desk number Is n’t that because they do n’t use this water heater ... The hotel is at the entrance of kampin subway station, across the road is the subway entrance, and there are many trams. It can be reached by train from the airport to the central station, or a ten-minute walk, and the city center is around , Helsinki's new library, concert hall, contemporary art gallery, silent church and other attractions. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and the facilities are fully renovated, that is, the toiletries and slippers need to go to the front desk. Now all the hotels in environmental protection do not provide them actively. The breakfast room is very large, the bar is open late at night, and the variety is very very rich. The smoked salmon is particularly delicious.

The location couldn’t have been better. The staff were very friendly and helpful. However, I was in Helsinki at a time that was unseasonably hot. I found the room to be stuffy and hard to cool down. The window opened wide and There was a fan in the room but the cord was not long enough so that it could be placed in front of the window. My real complaint though, was that the wifi service was so weak. Fortunately, I had a great data package so I used that but I would not have been able to rely on the hotel’s wifi service.

Amazing hospitality by ANNA at the breakfast restaurant. She was constantly attending all guest that arrived. Was seen interacting with them and making sure they enjoyed their experience. Since i really needed something to detox. She promoted the ligonberry jucie and the healthy berry shot. She also advised me to have the infused water with cucumber. Constantly kept checking on me if i needed anything else. Tables were kept neat and clean throughout. She even took orders for coffee and served me at the table. I was thoroughly impressed by her gesture and hospitality. I would like to thank her for making this experience wonderful and its a great start of the day. Please give her my regards. Small room especially toliet only allowed one person to stay inside. Room looked new but mold was found on the side of the wash basin and the exhaust fan. Easy to hurt your legs and get bruised when you got out of bed because there was a wooden slats around the bed. No luggage rack; thus, the luggage could only be opened by placing it on the floor. The privacy at wellness center was poor. The female changing room door could directly go to the wellness centre but No screen between the changing room door and the wellness center. When you were changing your clothes, anyone in the wellness center could look clearly what you are doing in the changing room. The water in the hot tub was not hot enough. It was difficult to contact reception by phone because no one answered the phone at any time.
