This hotel is absolutely stunning. Upon check in we were given a warm welcome, and I was wished a happy birthday. Our room was beautiful, bedding great, we were able to choose the firmness of the mattress and preference of pillows. Furnishings were comfortable with plenty of space as well as closets and drawers. My husband was sick with some sort of cold, they brought extra water and tissues. They even offered medical assistance. Luckily, I brought medication with us and he was back to normal in a day. Every aspect, lobby, hallways, staff were wonderful. I was disappointed that my birthday was not recognized beyond when we checked in. We did have a small tower of small plates with cheese, meat and olives on the table when returned one day. I find it hard to believe that was for my birthday and not given to every guest. When we were at the Four Seasons Gresham Palace in Budapest a few years ago, a cake, champagne, and a birthday card, were delivered to our suite. My birthday was also recognized in their restaurant. This was a disappointment to be sure. We would definitely stay here again, as the location and hotel are really wonderful. I will rate Dani restaurant separately. I'll just say the reviews by Coastal046..... and valeriosA are accurate. We were there for eight nights!

My husband and I were here for only one night on our first night in Spain, and we absolutely loved it. It was hard to leave. WE had a premium room on the fourth floor looking externally. It was gorgeous. The room was not available when we first arrived so we had tea in the main lobby bar. It was delicious. once our room was ready, they escorted us and our luggage there and soon thereafter sent us a nice welcome gift - a delicious tart from this region of Spain called Galicia. I think they sent it because I told the woman at check in that I had studied in Galicia, we were going there, and she was from there, so I thought that welcome gift was nice, special, tailored, and of course delicious. The room was beautiful. Big comfortable bed that we sank into. I want the sheets and the pillows for my house. I worked out at the well-equipped gym the next morning, then we had breakfast the next morning on the top floor. Delicious buffet and made to order eggs. Great solicitous service. Overall, this is a top notch hotel in a great, central location in Madrid. It's worthy of a splurge for sure.

Hotel location is very good, very close to Madrid's fashion shopping avenue serrano, service is OK, breakfast type is not much, if you want to try the Spanish breakfast can go out of the store, it is not recommended to book the hotel's breakfast. Overall, it seems to be very good. This time, the photo provided by Ctrip does not match the room. The hotel's room classification is very clear and can be seen on the hotel's own website, but Ctrip's technical department generally refers to the room type photos. The deluxe room is obviously irresponsible. In response to customer service, their reply was that the technical department did not make a mistake. Can only suggest that Ctrip can not visit the hotel in person before sending a room picture, please carefully browse the hotel's website, the picture of the room is carefully classified to be responsible for the performance of the consumer... I have lived this place before. The hotel, knowing the room type, made such a comment. I hope you can see this comment. The hotel is very good, but Ctrip's service is a bit disappointing...

Located in the poshest neighborhood in Madrid, this hotel was a welcome respite from a week of travel along the northern coast Spain. Very professional staff. Accommodations and facilities were top notch. My favorite spot was the lobby bar and lounge area with its open, airy, urban vibe.

Can be an extra bed, we are 8 years old and there is no extra bed fee. But this time the hygiene is not good. On the day of the check-in, the bathtub in the room was all sand and stone. It was not cleaned. Waiting for the waiter to open the night bed, I asked for cleaning. In the evening, I went to the small garden to rest, and I ordered a glass of champagne. The waiter actually used a glass of water-filled glass (estimated to be washed and not dried) and poured champagne directly to me, hehe! The next day, the children will sleep more than 7 o'clock in the afternoon. As a result, the children's bed and the quilt are inexplicably wet. Later I went to the front desk and asked them to make better bedding. Very hurt. In such a good location, the rest of the hotel is very good, it is a sanitary situation, it is unacceptable.

It is completely overdue. Upgraded the suite, up and down the building, early check-in in the morning, very very high quality price ratio. Impeccable. Small hotel, warm and well-organized. Walk to the famous brand area such as Hermes, recommended!

We got an awesome room, great location and super Fun pool. It’s super popular with the Instagram crowd and they cater a bit to them. But everyone is super nice and friendly, treated our kids lovingly although they accidentally threw away our baby’s lovie and couldn’t find it later which super sucked. The bathroom flooded because it was so full of hair from previous guests, kind of gross. Got an absolutely terrible night sleep because you can hear every single Thing in the hotel from next door to above you. They seemed to be vacuuming rooms at 1:00AM above us and moving furniture which was super loud. Food was great, service was excellent but alot of snotty people.

Such a beautiful, amazing with great location hotel. The hotel is spotless, and the service is great. Just quick point for the family: 1. The rooms are very tight, even with two queen bed. Then maybe better option of choosing to connecting room. 2. If you’re planning to use the rooftop pool, that is beautiful, just know that’s not very kids friendly. Lots of young couples at Sunny Madrid.

The hotel is new and very close to major tourist attractions. The room was comfortable, had standard JW bed, nothing stood out or special about the room accept it was still a newly hotel. I am an ambassador elite; however, for some reasons they could not provide a room upgrade. The front desk staff might need more training. One day, I requested to move to a different room because the assigned room was very noisy; the room was next to an elevator, and the cleaning staff parked their cleaning carts right outside; they were loud and chatty. No responses received. At checked in, the hotel offered a complimentary cheese plate in the room, however it smelled and stunk the entire room. It was a good gesture however I had food allergies and could not enjoy the offering. The hotel breakfast offering was great, and the staff at breakfast was very kind and amazing. Evening bar needed some attention.

A super-organised hotel, spacious rooms and the most comfortable bed in absolutely. But I am certainly bad to serve the indoor coffee shop where, instead of employing one person at the coffee shops one at the bank and one at the cash, there are two people who do the three things at the same time. Result 10 people waiting for service, one every 5 minutes ... does not exist! To eat exposures 2 muffins and 5 mini croissant ... with an event of 1600 people.

The environment of the hotel is very good. The lobby, restaurant, and garden are all elegantly and meticulously decorated, but the room is a bit crowded for us as a family of three, and the room facilities are average. My favorite is the restaurant, both indoor and outdoor, the restaurant environment and food are of high quality. In addition, the location is very good, very close to the main attractions in the old city (Madrid Royal Palace, Puerta del Sol, Plaza España), ten minutes walk, but please pay attention to driving, this is a restricted area in the old city. The service is good, the waiters are very warm and friendly.
- Guest User
I ordered without breakfast. But getting this price surprised the front desk of the hotel. Because it is cheaper than the official website of the hotel. And it was ordered on the spot. Ctrip can. The hotel gave us a big room and we were quite satisfied. The waiters are very enthusiastic. The location of this hotel is very good. There are many restaurants around, including Japanese ramen restaurants and Sichuan hot pot restaurants. The subway station is unwilling. Walk past for a while and you will see the palace.

As a whole, this property is excellent. My family and I stayed here for one week in April 2022. We stayed in a two bedroom suite on the sixth floor, which was clean, comfortable, and had great views of the Plaza Colon. Amenities were stocked well and things were replenished well daily (expected, but often not delivered in hotels). We were also given access to a lounge on the seventh floor that served breakfast each day and snacks, which was a fun break from sightseeing. Elevators are very slow and small, but that is to be expected of a hotel this age. The location is decent, but not amazing. You are at least 0.7 kms from all the major sightseeing, so be prepared for 25 minute walks each way or use the metro. The reason why this hotel did not earn a 5/5 was because of what happened on the final day of our trip. When we returned, there was a leak in the ceiling dripping water into one of the rooms. It turned out that the water was coming from a terrace jacuzzi and that it was not fixable. We were moved to a lower quality room (same layout, but lower quality) on the first floor (note to hotels: never downgrade your guest). The staff also seemed unapologetic and did not offer any compensation for our trouble. This left us with a sour taste in our mouth and ruined what could have otherwise been an extremely enjoyable stay. Overall, I'd recommend this hotel, but there are definitely other solid options out there too.
- Guest User
The facilities are a bit old, but the price performance is very high. Unfortunately, there is no swimming pool, and the children are not happy enough. Parking is not very convenient, but breakfast is very good! The hotel is at a great location, and there are big brands nearby.

As a Marriott Titanium / Lifetime Platinum Elite Guest, our family [husband, wife and two young daughters] decided to visit Madrid, Spain to start our month-long 2023 summer vacation in Europe. We spent five (5) nights at Westin Palace Madrid using our Bonvoy points in late May / early June 2023. Please see the thirty-eight (38) photos we posted with this review of all aspects of the hotel. Within days after making our five (5) night stay using Marriott Bonvoy points approximately ten (10) months prior to our arrival date, we emailed General Manager, Pablo Flores and advised him of our future stay as well as our special requests, including our request for an Executive Suite, which would comfortably host our family of four. Within hours of our email, we received a thoughtful reply Paloma Hidalgo, Director of Rooms, whom immediately provided us with a complimentary guaranteed upgrade to an Executive Suite and further, Ms. Hidalgo readily granted all of our other special requests. The prompt response did not come as a surprise to us given how active the management of this property is in reading and promptly replying to past guests on Trip Advisor as well as the Marriott Bonvoy website, which is but a mere sign of management’s commitment to exemplary customer service. Not surprisingly, we were overjoyed with such a response and really looked forward to our future stay at The Westin Palace Madrid. This gorgeous historic hotel is magnificently located in Madrid overlooking the Neptune Fountain and less than a three minute walk to the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum, less than a five minute walk to the Prado Museum and less than a ten minute walk to the Reina Sofia Museum. It is also extremely close to Retiro Park and is within an easy 15 minute walk to Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor and the Gran Via as well as many bars, restaurant, trendy cafés, market and other cultural attractions. You can easily walk everywhere throughout the entire city but public transportation options abound in close proximity to the hotel as well. Our initial visit to the Westin Palace Madrid did not disappoint, especially when the hotel accommodated our extremely early check-in (before 9:00 am). The check-in process with Ms. Hidalgo, Estefanía Martinez, Front Office Assistant Manager and Juan at the reception desk was a breeze. Further, Ms. Martinez was kind enough to personally escort us to our suite and show us all of the features and amenities of same. This was very thoughtful on the part of Ms. Martinez and very much appreciated. Throughout our entire five (5) night stay, Ms. Hidalgo and Ms. Martinez were especially helpful and friendly. We simply loved our Palace Executive Suite with slightly over 1,000 square feet in total space with a sublime view of the Neptune Fountain; it was truly remarkable. Further, upon entering, we discovered that Mr. Flores and his team were kind enough to provide us with several 1 liter bottles of both sparking water (Vichy Catalan) and sti

Amazing location! The Hotel Palace Madrid is a historic and luxurious hotel located in the heart of the city. The building dates back to 1912 and has been beautifully restored to its former glory. From the moment you step through the grand entrance, you're transported to a world of elegance and sophistication. The hotel's location is perfect for exploring Madrid. It's within walking distance of many of the city's most popular attractions, including the Prado Museum, the Royal Palace, and the Gran Via. The hotel is also close to several Metro stations, making it easy to travel further afield. The service at the Hotel Palace Madrid is exceptional. The staff are friendly, helpful, and always on hand to assist with anything you need. From the moment you arrive, you're made to feel like a valued guest, and the service only gets better from there. The rooms at the hotel are spacious, beautifully decorated, and filled with natural light. They're equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a large, comfortable bed, a flat-screen TV, and a luxurious bathroom. The attention to detail is impressive, with little touches like fresh flowers and complimentary water bottles adding to the overall experience. One of the highlights of staying at the Hotel Palace Madrid is dining at one of the hotel's restaurants. The hotel has several dining options, including the Michelin-starred Restaurant La Terraza del ******, which serves innovative and delicious cuisine. The hotel also has a beautiful bar, which is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a cocktail after a day of exploring the city. The hotel's facilities are excellent. There's a fully equipped gym, a spa, and a rooftop terrace with stunning views of the city. The hotel also has several meeting and event spaces, making it an ideal choice for business travelers. Overall, the Hotel Palace Madrid is a truly exceptional hotel. From its beautiful architecture and elegant decor to its exceptional service and prime location, everything about this hotel is top-notch. If you're looking for a luxurious and unforgettable stay in Madrid, I highly recommend the Hotel Palace Madrid.

I really love this hotel. I welcome cakes and bear candy on the first day. It is delicious, and the quality of the toiletries is very good. The hotel has a free mobile internet, a deposit of 200 Euros, and a refund. The breakfast area is small but it is really pleasant. Sitting on the balcony and enjoying the sun and tea, it is full of holiday. I will definitely stay again next time.

The hotel is in a very central location at Gran Via (main shopping street). Metro station is just a few meters away. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are quite big. There is also a nice rooftop bar with good cocktails. Due to the location the hotel is great for a weekend trip to Madrid. I would definitely stay there again.

Lovely hotel, amazingly centrally situated, and so we were able to walk to all the things we needed to see and do. Breakfast excellent with a good choice of hot and cold food. Staff generally very kind and polite. Our one complaint was that the TV in the bedroom we had, kept losing or freezing the picture on the BBC world news channel, and a small icon kept appearing from LG, which after waiting a while restored the screen. We complained about this on the first morning we were there, and the reception noted it and siad an engineer would go and attend to it. This was not done and for the whole stay sadly we were frustrated by the TV which was really of no use to us what so ever. I have read other similar stories on Tripadvisor about the same complaint, and so clearly the hotel is aware of the problem but seemingly chooses not to do anything about it. This is a shame, beacuse something so easy, and expected would make a huge difference to one's enjoyment of the room. Other than that, really we had no complaints, and would certainly stay again.

Excellent staff- everyone was so friendly and helpful. We arrived very early from international flight and they let us check in early. Great location to walk to museums and great restaurants. Rooftop bar and pool were very nice- again, super friendly service. Nice complimentary bottled water and chocolates brought to the room in the evening. Needed to get shoes shined and they got it done for me. Nice artwork throughout hotel. Didn’t charge for drinks in mini fridge- nice touch. Did I mention how friendly everyone is?

A nice hotel with many lovely features on each floor , shame about no coffee making facilities in room a huge disappointment as it’s the first thing we like when we wake up , only ate in hotel once food was terrible for a 5 star had to send my husband’s back and got a very cold response from waitress , put things on our table we didn’t ask for and expected us to pay €12 for a bit of bread it’s not how it should be , we were not willing to pay the full bill and the waitress was rude and if looks could kill , receptionist were helpful and sorted any issues out we had , please employ staff that know how to be with customers it stopped us eating there again at the very expensive cost.location was okay but not as central as we were lead to believe but still worth a visit just for the style . Please be warned the pool is ice cold as not heated and lots of the hotel was closed so we didn’t get to use most of it and that was disappointing as it was one of the reasons we booked with them.it wasn’t a cheap hotel we were a couple with our parents and expect coffee making facilities in our room at that cost. Please take that on board hotel owners .

Hotel chains usually have a standard, a process, something to be known for. Or it is the price, the location, the luxurious breakfast, the incredible gyms, you name it. NH is simply what it is in Spain: it is EVERYWHERE, it is AVAILABLE, it is ECONOMICAL, it is CLEAN, it is DIGITAL, it is FRIENDLY and PROFESSIONAL, it is EVERYWHERE the same. Hence I was guest at NH Zurbano, found myself a digital check in, a clean room, a modern hotel, a great breakfast at a reasonable price and guess what.........next time, NH it will be...

Great time at hotel roof at cosy bar. Really helps when downtown everything keeps the heat: pavement and buildings. Nice Cold glass of Cava and beautiful view from above. Many thanks to hotel staff being so friendly, hospitable, and ceremonial. It counts nowadays twice, when many do not care about good manners. I can recommend Villa Vinci as a highly agreeable and enjoyable place to stay. Last but not least it has a strategic location at Calle Gran Via, which always guarantees you a “place to be”.

One of the best hostel I've ever been to. The 8-people shared bedroom was BIG, with beds safely distant. The overall cleanliness of the host was good, the atmosphere was great (with sangria parties going on every night downstairs and Madrid tours every morning) but the best part was the staff: super friendly and ready to help you. The Italian girl working at the reception was lovely! She recommended lots of her favourite restaurants and they were so good. Thank you so much!

We stayed for a week and really enjoyed it. Exceptionally clean, really friendly and attentive staff, good atmosphere in the downstairs bar area and on the roof bar, good breakfast and very comfy, well equipped room. Wasn’t too sure initially about the area but we soon felt very comfortable and found some great bars and restaurants locally off the tourist trail. Great location for walking to the centre, La Latina, El Rastro, the park (El Retiro), the art galleries and metro/train connections. Loved Madrid.

I rated this hotel a 5 because of its very special location next to lively Santa Ana square, the staff (especially Barbara who checked us in) and the varied breakfast in charming surroundings. The rooms are interestingly designed per the website and plushly decorated. 214 was extremely quiet since it had great sound proofing and a view to an interior courtyard. All the standard rooms face internally and have adequate space. I originally booked a superior room but they all face Calle de las Huertas and I was afraid of the noise. In addition to the window sound proofing, there is a very thick velvet curtain that aids to cut down noise but I did not want to take the chance. I was cheerily refunded the price difference. The superior room on the 4th floor was of course bigger, had very large windows and double the storage space but for me quiet is better. My only negative comment is that, although superficially clean, both the bathroom and bedroom floors needed TLC. The tiles need a special reagent (and/or scrubbing) to remove dirt built up and the bedroom rug desperately needs a deep clean heat shampoo. I did mention the issue to the front desk but I understand that this process may require significant commitment from the management. In this area the expectations for a 4 star hotel were not met.

We were in Madrid for the first time, and picked Barcello de Torre primarily based on location and the glowing reviews on Trip Advisor. Anything you read that's positive is true: it's new, clean, perfectly located, reasonably priced, great breakfast, etc, but it seems like every menber of the staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome. It's an easy walk to the Royal Palace, the Plaza de Espana subway stop is directly across the street, lots of restaurants close by, easy walk to Puerta del Sol, excellent dinner in the restaurant. large rooms. An extremely well run operation that should be the model for others in it's class.
