First time in Kalisz. There is no Chinese food in this small town. There is a Thai restaurant which is very authentic and the price is very good. Basically, you can't see Asians. They are all locals. It feels very safe. The scenery is also very good. We passed a church on the way. The staff even turned on the lights for us to take pictures! Spectacular!!

From the train station to the hotel about RMB 30. The hotel is very cost-effective and looks old but clean. The front desk was especially welcoming and the breakfast was good. The restaurant downstairs is not bad.

The hotel is too old, the rooms are basic and the parking on site is limited, but the other parking on the door is only 3 yuan (local currency) per night. Cross the bridge and you will be in the city. There are many restaurants around the very quiet square.
