It’s comfortable and clean, location is also good with groceries and coffee shop. But I didn’t receive the check-in email so I can’t get in my room. And I try to find a reception but there’s no reception, I tried to call them but nobody answered, I tried email but they replied slowly. Finally I call the emergency number then I can check in. It’s a good place but not a very nice check in experience.

The hotel is very comfortable for 3-4 days in Munich. The room is simple but very clean and modern. The hotel is not in the centre but very accessible in transport. The hotel is not responding to the emails, but the WhatsApp message has been sent to you immediately.

The staff is quite nice & helpful. The spa and gym is quite nice, and breakfast is good too.
However, my mom found a little dirty stuff in the shower when she first got into her room. That's a minus.

The reception was indifferent and unfriendly. When booking, I specified the need for latex pillows and an extra luggage rack in the special requests section, but neither was provided upon check-in. The concierge's service was better. At check-out, I requested the frontdesk to help with my luggage, but no one came to assist. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was also poorly attended to; the service was lukewarm and indifferent, perhaps due to the restaurant's high demand. The food quality was mediocre and did not live up to the website's claim of being the top restaurant in Munich. The Deluxe Room we booked online was advertised as 35-38 square meters, but the actual room was much smaller than expected. In short, aside from the location, everything else fell short of expectations, earning only a mediocre rating. I would likely not stay there again or recommend it to friends; perhaps my expectations were too high, leading to greater disappointment.From€348

We booked two Comfort Rooms for our family of four and were happy that the hotel assigned us two rooms right next to each other. That made things much more convenient for us.
The rooms themselves were quite small, though. Once we opened a large suitcase, there was barely any floor space left. The bathroom was also on the small side. On the positive side, the beds and pillows were comfortable, and we slept well during our stay.
A nice touch was the complimentary minibar, which included a few soft drinks, a bottle of beer, and two small bottles of water (one still and one sparkling).
It’s hard for me to judge the location overall, but there is a tram stop nearby. Tram 19 provides easy access to places such as Marienplatz and other parts of the city. We also used Uber to travel to and from Munich Central Station, which cost around €16–20 each way.
Breakfast was decent. The highlight was definitely the egg station—the freshly cooked fried eggs were delicious. The bread selection, however, was fairly basic and not particularly exciting.
Overall, it was a bit disappointing as we expected more from a 4-star hotel.From€77

I stayed at the Charles Hotel in Munich on Christmas Eve on 12.24. The location is very convenient next to the city center. There are service staff to help park the car and bring luggage into the room. The front desk staff offered a welcome Christmas drink, as well as warm and caring service throughout the process. The hotel has a historical atmosphere, the rooms are relatively modern, the small balcony can see the park view, and the mood is super good when the sun shines in the room in the morning. I booked the Christmas dinner at the restaurant Sophia's in the hotel in advance. The food is not bad, not bad. There are quite a variety of breakfasts. In addition to the buffets that can be seen in Europe, there are also Bavarian set meals to try. Generally speaking, the hotel is quite cost-effective and will not step on thunder. Rocco forte is also a pretty big hotel group.From€745

I really need to give a bad review. The hotel had soldiers staying because of a football match. They changed my original twin bed to a king-size bed without notifying me, and they didn't tell the agent. Most importantly, when the customer checked in, they gave the customer's room card to open the door and someone was already in the room. An excellent hotel with a superb location! We took the Lufthansa Express bus from Terminal 2, which I highly recommend. It stops right at the hotel entrance, saving us the hassle of lugging luggage from the train station. Plus, the subway is right next door. The breakfast was very clean and tasty; although the variety wasn't extensive, it had most of the items you'd expect from a Western buffet. The front desk staff were also very warm and friendly. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the German guests weren't as aloof as I'd heard; everyone was quite friendly and helpful. At breakfast, when I had trouble lifting the lids for food, they kindly offered to help, which was lovely. The room was a bit small and lacked amenities like slippers, tissues, a kettle, toothpaste, and toothbrushes, so it's best to come prepared. However, there's a supermarket right next door, making it easy to buy any daily necessities.From€51

The hotel is a convenient 8-10 minute walk from the train station. The area around the hotel is predominantly populated by residents and businesses that do not speak German. While there are several supermarkets nearby, none of the small shops sell water. The only option is a 1.5-liter bottle of 'mineral water' for a steep 2.50 Euros. Munich has very hard water, so much so that boiling a pot of water leaves a noticeable amount of limescale. The hotel does not offer luggage storage services. The double bed, measuring 1.3 meters, was fitted with two 1.5-meter mattresses, which easily slipped off. I wonder who came up with this makeshift arrangement? On the upside, the price was very reasonable.From€45

We like the welcome drinks and good atmosphere for youth. There is lift to every floor including street level to ground floor. The 4You Hostel is behind us towards the right. There is bicycle rental nearby which we may use if it was not snowing.
