Very good landlord, originally booked for 3 days last week, but the dog found out that the tumor needed surgery and returned the room. After it recovered and discharged from the hospital, I decided to bring it over for two days. I am very happy to have such a convenient skiing and can also bring the dog's apartment. Will come again!

This homestay is located on the shore of Lightning Lake, and you can see the lake from the room. It is a 3-minute drive from Luohe Shenyun. I searched several homestays, and his home has air conditioning.

I was very satisfied with the hotel's environment and basic facilities, especially its convenient yet quiet distance from Four Seasons Town, which was great for dining and recreation. However, the staff's service needs improvement. For example, they were largely unfamiliar with the situation at Fulong Ski Resort, and no one informed us that many activities could be booked via a mini-program (perhaps because we only stayed one night and didn't plan on doing much). We were left scrambling like headless chickens, and with limited time, we couldn't figure out what activities were available. This stands in stark contrast to the Wanda Resort in Changbai Mountain where we stayed last year; even for a short stay, we had a dedicated butler who provided a one-on-one introduction to the resort's activities and schedule.

There were good things and bad things for this weekend trip. The bad things did not ruin the trip and we still have a great time. First, the parking here is so horrible. We drove around a few times to find a spot to oark. We couldn’t drive up to check-in. The parking garage was full and asking the guard about where to park he said the lot and garage were at capacity. We arrived well after the checkin time but our room was not ready and were still being cleaned. It took 4 people to check us in but they eventually got it sorted but this was an issue that was not in their control. They made the process very smooth and stored our luggage as we waited in the lobby. They have Starbucks” in the lobby and we waited for the rooms. The rooms were amazing and had that old world few feel to them. The beds were comfortable and the suites were very spacious. We had both a 1 bedroom suite and an executive suite. The breakfast did not live up to expectations they were slow to refill juices and left with a feeling of being mediocre. Steamed buns were soggy. We ordered food from Delivery and ate dinner out.

Stayed here on the second day of my competition. Overall, the facilities were quite good. It has a bamboo-themed decor. I booked a mountain view room with a balcony. Some rooms have them, some don't, and I later switched to one with a balcony. My online booking was 20 yuan more expensive than the walk-in rate, so if you're not in a hurry, it's worth checking the on-site prices before booking to compare. The room had two bathrooms. The toilet and shower were separate, and there was plenty of space. The room itself was also very large and even had a sofa. The air was incredibly fresh, and the views were stunning. It was also super convenient to get to Genting Theme Park. The air conditioning worked great. The only minor issue was that the bed creaked every time I turned over. Breakfast was excellent too, with a wide variety of options. I get the feeling this place would be incredibly convenient for skiing, as the slopes lead right to the hotel. I'd definitely come back in winter if I get the chance.

The hotel room was clean, and its location within Thaiwoo Ski Town was excellent. The price was also quite good value for money compared to other hotels in the area. The only drawback was that the room was very hot in the summer; it was cold outside but hot inside, and the AC wasn't cooling. Opening the window was an issue because it was noisy at night, and I have severe allergies. Also, the breakfast wasn't great; the fried dough sticks and bread were rock hard, like baguettes. The variety was average for a 4-star hotel. The connecting rooms that Hyatt has an agreement for with Trip.com are quite unique and perfect for a family of three adults and one child, or four adults and one child. It's very suitable for families with kids. My grandpa's room had a problem with the bathroom ventilation system; he could always smell smoke, probably from someone smoking in a room upstairs or downstairs. I'm sure the hotel can improve this. I'd give it a 4-star rating.

Last year, I stayed at Taizi Apartment, which was a guesthouse. This year, I'm at Zhangjiakou Genting Taizi Apartment, which is a hotel. They're basically in different buildings within the same complex, and the facilities aren't all that different. There's an underground parking lot, and you can also park for free on the street. The complex itself is lovely and peaceful; there were no mosquitoes in the summer. The room wasn't huge, but it was clean and tidy. The previous Taizi Apartment provided disposable sheets (laid directly on the mattress, no other sheets) and disposable towels. This Zhangjiakou Genting Taizi, however, is more like a hotel, offering proper sheets and bedding, as well as reusable towels. They provide four bottles of drinking water and even an induction cooktop for preparing meals. There's a 'Taizi Canteen' in the complex serving home-style stir-fries; the prices are reasonable, and the food is decent. However, there are absolutely no other dining options nearby. The area around Celebration Plaza still has a much better variety of restaurants and entertainment. Chongli is quite cool, so there's no air conditioning in the room, but it doesn't get too hot. The soundproofing in the room is average. Since most guests at this hotel are here for off-road races or winter skiing, there's constant loud chatter and traffic in the hallway all day long. Even the cleaning staff were making noise from 7 AM until noon, so it was pretty much impossible to rest in the mornings.

The hotel we booked has a pretty good location, right next to Fulong Ski Resort. You can park right at the hotel entrance. The hotel breakfast is decent, and there were a lot of kids from outside here for mountain biking, seemed like there was a competition going on. The front desk had a lovely young lady, I think her last name was Li, who provided excellent service. The charming young man working with her also left a good impression on us.

During the past few days in Zhangjiakou, the most unforgettable thing is not the passion of the track, but the emotion brought by the front desk. My family sent a box of sports drinks before I left. I made sure to make sure it was delivered on the day of the game. The result was that I, a road ******, filled in the wrong district address. The courier was sorting from the south of the city to a novice post office in the north of the city. Just after the race ended at 4 p.m., the logistics information showed that ”the post office is already at the post office,” but we had to leave for the next city at 5 p.m, and looked at the postoffice address 10 kilometers away on the map, stamping our feet in a hurry. The room was spacious, easily accommodating our family of four, including elderly parents and a child, with its separate bedroom and living area. It even had a kitchen with a washing machine and dryer, and a large refrigerator, just like at home, which was perfect for storing food, and keeping drinks and snacks chilled or frozen in summer. The hotel is very close to the town center, practically right downstairs. Just a few steps away are the dining and commercial streets. It's close to KFC, and there are also many Chinese restaurants and food trucks, with all sorts of entertainment options concentrated here. The best part was the hotel's hot springs, with multiple indoor and outdoor pools. The outdoor ones felt really pleasant and not stuffy. They lit up at 7 PM, creating a lovely ambiance.
