Hosts - Nuwat & his mum are nice and friendly.
They accommodated to my later check-in time when my arrival time was delayed. My room was already prepared upon my arrival with the air-con turned on.
The house is well equipped with all amenities which one can asked for and they have 3 lovely pet dogs.
Location of their place is near Huai Kwang station which is convenient to everywhere and there is also bus stops nearby for easy access.
A lot of food stalls and restaurants within walking distance and the area is filled with Chinese restaurants which can cater to Chinese tourists.
Overall, it was a great experience staying in Nuwat’s place and is highly recommended for those who would like to experience staying in a local Thai-style homestay.

The hotel is quite old, but the staff made everything so nice that we didn’t even focus on the small things. The reception and cleaning teams did a great job — they really made us feel welcomed. I took my family on a 3-day, 2-night long weekend trip. The hotel was packed, fully booked, but the staff service was still excellent. There are two water play zones; the swimming pool closes at 8 PM, while The Wave artificial sea closes at 6 PM. The kids absolutely loved The Wave. The welcome coffee machine was available until 5 PM. The room was clean and up to standard.
However, the facilities and food were a big problem for us:
1. The elevators were small and very slow. With so many people, we had to wait a long time during the mornings, noon, and evenings – around 15-20 minutes.
2. We had to queue to get into the restaurant, waiting about 15-20 minutes. It's not advisable to go when you're very hungry, or you'll get frustrated.
3. The breakfast variety was good, but the food was too salty. Many dishes that shouldn't have been salty were excessively so, like Tom Kha Gai, Tom Lued Moo (pork blood soup), and the bacon was extremely salty. There was only salted butter for toast, no unsalted butter.
4. The snacks and instant noodles in the room were complimentary, but only provided for one day. We stayed two nights but didn't get a refill on the second day.
5. When we returned late at night after going out, there was no parking available in the building, so we had to park in the open lot next to it.FromIDR 587,066

I have stayed here a few times and it’s always very enjoyable. The rooms are clean and spacious and cleaned daily. Breakfast is excellent and plentiful with different dishes each day. Check-in and checkout is efficient. Although situated on the main road between Jomtien and the city it is quiet. Stayed March 2026. Let me start by saying the hotel staff and service was so good. All the front desk workers were friendly and tried their best to be helpful. The room was just alright. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom amenities are good. But, the cleaning lady did not seem to do a great job, the room never felt cleaned much and the shower is a bit mucky. I found ants on the counter each night I was there, so it must have been a long-term cleanliness issue. I was surprised because usually holiday inn express is pretty clean.
Once I got over that issue though, everything else was great. The location is right by popular party areas and an easy walk to the beach and Walking Street (not that you need to go there more than once). The rooftop pool is small but nice, and there is a solid gym room too, but I didn't have any time to workout. The breakfast is solid, and there is an omelette bar at the outside patio area by the breakfast lounge. There is also a coin laundry room, both washer and dryer. This is my third stay at Gras this year. Upon entering, I noticed two pairs of earplugs, which made me suspect they'd received numerous complaints about motorcycle noise. Indeed, the soundproofing at Gras isn't great; on my previous two visits, I was often woken up by tour groups chatting loudly in the hallway late at night! This time, it seems my neighbors were all solo travelers, so it was much quieter. Since my second visit, I've specifically requested rooms with balconies not facing the street, and my friends traveling with me have also made similar requests for room changes. The front desk and lobby staff were all very welcoming and provided excellent service.
I do have a suggestion, though. For room 1410, where I stayed for a week, the bathroom drain was a bit slow, and one of the outdoor AC unit fans on the balcony made a strange noise. At night, I had to turn off one AC unit to sleep because the noise was quite loud – I imagine it would disturb the neighbors. Perhaps these details could be addressed and maintained?FromIDR 368,562

I've been to Pattaya dozens of times, and for the past few years, I've consistently stayed at this hotel. I stayed for a week each in January and July last year, and again for a week this time. I booked a room without breakfast, but at check-in, I was upgraded to a higher floor for around 850 baht a day, not including breakfast. The hotel service is excellent; the bellhops always greet you and offer assistance, and the front desk staff are very welcoming. The hotel is connected to Terminal 21, so you can walk directly into the mall from the lobby.
The room size is decent, and it has a balcony with a sea view. The sea views from the Hilton here are even more stunning. There's an outdoor observation deck on the 32nd floor offering a more panoramic view, and you can even see the Sanctuary of Truth. The housekeeping staff are also wonderful; they keep everything spotless. I give them 40 baht in tips every day, as they really work the hardest. The drinks and water in the mini-fridge are replenished daily for free, and the pool is also great.
Check-in is generally in the afternoon, so if you arrive early, you might need to store your luggage before returning to check in.
The hotel's location is superb. Pattaya is a small city, and this hotel is very close to the beach. Tiffany's Show is right downstairs, and there's a Big C supermarket to the left when you exit. The night market is also downstairs and sometimes moves to the first floor of the mall.
Every morning, there are various free classes available for an hour.
