Central Tokyo Tokyo|2.87km from city center
The hotel's location and surroundings are excellent. The only minor inconvenience was having to walk all the way around to access the garden downstairs; I'm not sure if we just missed a more direct entrance. On our second day in Tokyo, we experienced a typhoon with strong winds and heavy rain, but the soundproofing in the room was so good we couldn't hear a thing – it was incredibly quiet. Getting around was also very convenient, as it's close to the subway station, making it easy to reach popular areas like Shinjuku, Shibuya, and Ginza.

Ginza/Tsukiji Tokyo|0.49km from city center
The location is absolutely unbeatable, just a 3-minute walk to the heart of Ginza, making it incredibly convenient for getting around and shopping. The hotel lobby offers outstanding views, overlooking Tokyo Tower, city buildings, and the bay. There are observation sofas, perfect for a relaxing sit to enjoy the scenery. However, cleanliness was an issue during this stay. Upon checking into the room, we found a forgotten contact lens on the edge of the bed frame, and a black stain on the floor. My daughter initially mistook it for an insect and was quite startled. I hope the hotel strengthens its room cleaning and inspection procedures.

Ginza/Tsukiji Tokyo|0.66km from city center
I brought my parents to Tokyo, and we managed to snag a discount at the Imperial Hotel, booking two connecting rooms. It was a great experience to soak in the old-money vibe of this classic hotel. The hotel facilities aren't brand new, but the stay was incredibly comfortable. Each room had a great view, with a table and chairs by the window perfect for enjoying the scenery. Although it's right next to the railway tracks, the soundproofing was surprisingly excellent. With the subway stopping at night, our sleep was completely undisturbed. Compared to most hotels in Tokyo, the room size was very generous, so two people didn't feel cramped at all. The shower experience in the bathroom was particularly good, with a three-function rain shower head and ample water pressure, making showering a real treat. The hotel doesn't have self-service laundry, and the laundry service isn't cheap, but it's a reasonable price compared to hotels of a similar caliber. The hotel is quite large, with several restaurants and shops inside, art installations everywhere, and carpets throughout, creating a wonderfully atmospheric place to wander around. The large fresh flower arrangement and chandelier at the main entrance, which might not look as stunning in photos, were still breathtaking to see in person. The breakfast was very good. While the variety wasn't extensive, the quality was consistent and the taste was excellent. The service level was very high, with staff being both elegant and enthusiastic. The location is a major highlight: a side exit leads directly to a lively food street, and it's just a 3-minute walk to Ginza for shopping. The main entrance faces Hibiya Park, with no shops obstructing the view around, making it very convenient for taxis. Overall, it's highly recommended for family trips.

Suidobashi/Tokyo Dome Tokyo|3.75km from city center
The Tokyo Dome Hotel is huge, twice the size of other hotels in the same price range. I expected it to be old, but the carpets and decor were surprisingly new. I stayed in a single king-size room on a high floor with great views. This was the most comfortable hotel I've stayed in in Japan. The lighting was also very cozy, and it offered excellent value for money. I'll definitely stay here again!

The room offered a view of Tokyo Tower, which I was very pleased with! Since it was my birthday, I had mentioned it in advance, and the hotel emailed me about a surprise. Upon checking in, I found they had left a few small cookies, which was a lovely touch. However, upon entering the room, there was an old, hard-to-describe smell. This smell wasn't present near the bed. (I had read reviews upon checking in and noticed this wasn't an isolated incident.) Check-in was at 3 PM, and I arrived around 3:10 PM. There was a huge line for check-in, and I didn't get into my room until after 4 PM. This service was very poor; it's the first time I've encountered such a situation, and I hope the hotel improves. Personally, I felt the overall service attitude of the hotel wasn't particularly enthusiastic, and all the staff seemed to treat guests differently. The toilet in the bathroom was also old. It's hard to imagine this is a hotel renovated in 2018?

Ginza/Tsukiji Tokyo|0.29km from city center
Given its prime location, you can't expect both spaciousness and a cheap price. The value for money is decent. However, the room felt stuffy and relied solely on the air conditioning, which created a stale smell, as if it had been closed up for a long time. I had to keep the AC on low. I'm unsure about the cleanliness of the duvet; my legs were incredibly itchy for the first half of the night. It only got better after I turned the AC much lower in the latter half. One of the pillows had a strong, hard-to-describe oily head smell. There was also a noticeable accumulation of dust in some corners. The service throughout was genuinely cold. Despite my fluent Japanese, there wasn't a single smile, which is quite unusual for Japan. Perhaps working in Ginza is truly exhausting. They didn't mention the complimentary beer and coffee that was advertised on Ctrip. Ms. Akiko at the front desk, this kind of service really isn't acceptable in the hospitality industry. If you feel so wronged by your job, maybe you should find a different one.

Ginza/Tsukiji Tokyo|0.44km from city center
The hotel has been recently renovated, so it's very clean and quiet. They offer daily room cleaning. However, the breakfast isn't great. For 3000 yen, which is about 137 RMB, it's a rip-off. We stayed for 5 days and it was the exact same every morning. Besides some toast and salad, there were no fried eggs or pastries. There was hardly anything else edible. It would have been better not to book a room with breakfast. There's a 7-Eleven and Lawson downstairs, which offer much better value for money!

The room size was decent, and it was quite clean. The hotel's location isn't far from Tsukiji Station on the Hibiya Line, which makes getting around convenient. There are convenience stores and restaurants nearby. I booked a comfort triple room, but they initially gave me a standard triple. I had to go back to the front desk to communicate, and then they switched me to the comfort triple, and there was quite a noticeable difference between the two rooms.

Had a fantastic stay! The hotel's location is excellent, right next to the Rinkai Line, making it incredibly convenient for getting around, especially to Disney. The room facilities were well-equipped, and the cleanliness was top-notch; there were no unpleasant odors. Breakfast is served on the first floor. We stayed for five nights and went at different times, but on three of those days, we encountered a queue. If you're in a hurry, you might want to factor in some extra time.

Akasaka Tokyo|2.21km from city center
Room and bed were very comfortable, immaculately clean and modern. 2 mins walk from train station, if you need lift access to train then a 6 mins walk, we had a stroller. Breakfast was a bit of a zoo, we went during Christmas, very busy! But tables were spacious so even though there were so many people you don’t feel cramped. Good variety of food selection. We had dinner at the Japanese teppanyaki restaurant. Delicious, especially the tuna salad. I found the lobby staff a little lack of personality, at check in, no mentioning of where breakfast will be, what time check out is. Just checked you in and that’s it, no personal notes in the room. When I expressed I’ve lost my phone at the shop in Tokyo, no sign of empathy (it was a western male staff) no gesture of helpfulness, very cold and robotic. This goes for concierge also, he is an older western gentleman, he needs to use Google translate also which is frustrating cause I could do exactly the same research with Google translate. Overall, hardware is solid, need to fine tune the staff, sprinkle a little bit of personality in them.

Odaiba Tokyo|5.01km from city center
This hotel offers direct access to the Yurikamome Line's Odaiba Station from its second floor, and is within walking distance of the life-sized Gundam statue and Odaiba Marine Park. A complimentary shuttle bus to Disneyland is provided, and Haneda Airport is just a 20-minute drive away, making transportation highly convenient. All room types feature private balconies, with ocean view rooms directly facing the Rainbow Bridge and Tokyo Bay's night skyline. The room sizes significantly exceed those of similarly priced hotels in central Tokyo. For families with children, amenities for kids are proactively provided upon check-in, ensuring excellent comfort during your stay. The facilities are well-maintained, and both Chinese and English services are seamless. There's a complimentary gym and multiple restaurants on-site. The drawbacks include the hotel's age and the fact that the pool requires an additional fee. It's also a bit further from the central city shopping districts. Overall, this hotel is ideal for guests who prioritize exploring Odaiba, appreciate scenic views and spacious accommodations. High-floor ocean view rooms are highly recommended.

We booked an executive floor room this time, and we were given one on the 37th floor. Breakfast can be enjoyed either on the executive floor or at the main restaurant on the 2nd floor. The room size was excellent; it wasn't cramped for two people! We could easily open two or three 28-inch suitcases. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and all the toiletries were L'Occitane. The shower pressure was also great~ The complimentary bottled water in the room came in aluminum bottles. The executive lounge also offered afternoon tea 🫖, and after 5 PM, it was happy hour with unlimited alcoholic beverages 🍹👍

Wonderful hotel that goes above and beyond for families traveling with children. From the child amenity kits and pajamas for our toddler to the crib and diaper pail for our infant we felt that every need was met which made for a really comfortable trip. The 7eleven in the hotel was the icing on the cake! We also were able to utilize the Poppins onsite daycare although this is run independently and you should book well in advance of your trip as only 1 day that we requested was available for booking. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Tokyo Station/Nihonbashi Tokyo|1.84km from city center
[HOSHINOYA Tokyo: A Vertical Ryokan Experience] HOSHINOYA Tokyo offers a truly unique concept. It is a traditional Japanese ryokan built vertically within a modern skyscraper, located in the prestigious Otemachi district. It provides a serene, luxurious escape right in the middle of the bustling city, perfectly blending classic ryokan hospitality with world-class modern design. We enjoyed a wonderful three-day, two-night stay at the property from 29 May to 31 May. We chose not to make any meal reservations, which gave us the flexibility to simply relax and explore the surrounding city. [Getting There] We travelled from Fufu Hakone via a day trip to Enoshima and Kamakura. We took a direct train from Kamakura to Tokyo Station, followed by a short walk to the hotel, and arrived at around 8:00 PM. To make the transit completely effortless, our luggage was picked up and delivered directly to the hotel by LuggAgent on the same day. [Arrival and Check-In] The hotel is situated in the central business district and distinctly stands out from the surrounding buildings. The discreet entrance completely shields you from the busy streets. Upon entering, staff immediately store your shoes, as the entire tatami-matted building operates on a barefoot or socks-only policy. We were incredibly lucky to catch a traditional jap instrument performance, which is usually reserved for weekends. A designated staff member managed our check-in with welcome snack & tea and escorted us to level 15. A major highlight is the exclusive lounge on each floor, shared by only 6 suites. It functions as a private living room, fully stocked with complimentary seasonal teas, coffees, and traditional snacks. [The Suite] We stayed in the Sakura suite. Rather than trying to describe the beautiful layout in words, I will let my photos speak for themselves. The beds are low to the floor with a mid-level hardness that we found quite comfortable, and each bed comes with two soft pillows. There is also a television cleverly hidden behind a mirror, though it is worth noting that it only broadcasts Japanese channels. We kept it switched off to maintain the consistent traditional ryokan feel. The provided yukata is absolutely superb. It comes as a full set complete with an inner layer, an outer layer, socks, and a small handbag. The material is soft, stretchy, and incredibly comfortable for lounging and walking around the property. [The Top-Floor Onsen] Having a natural hot spring in central Tokyo is a rare luxury. The onsen is located on the 17th floor and features a stunning design where the roof is open to the sky. As cameras are strictly prohibited, you will have to visualise it or check the hotel website for gallery photos. I understand that the bath is a salty hot spring containing a high concentration of seawater and seaweed minerals trapped deep in the ground. Soaking in this soothing water gently embraces the skin and helps alleviate fatigue in both body and mind. The onsen is open daily from 3:00 PM to 11:30 AM. It was the absolute perfect way to warm up and recharge before we headed out for a busy day. [Areas for Improvement] Toothbrush Set: The provided toothbrush is far too small and takes ages to use. I strongly recommend bringing your own.

I’d wanted to stay at this hotel for a long time and loved the idea of a traditional-style hotel right in the heart of Tokyo. The staff were very friendly, and I was happy to get a room on a higher floor as I had requested. The room itself was very small and felt a bit outdated. For this price range, I expected a little more. However, the window — definitely the highlight of the room — offered an incredible view of the city. The onsen was quite small, but wow. Being able to relax in an outdoor bath right in the center of Tokyo while looking out at the city was an amazing experience. The breakfast was also very good.

This is our second time staying here. The hotel is right next to the Ariake Garden mall, practically seamlessly connected. There are plenty of dining options upstairs and shopping is very convenient. Downstairs, there's a large Aeon supermarket, and right outside its exit, at platform 1, you can catch the bus to Haneda Airport. There's also a big Muji store nearby. The hotel offers a free shuttle bus to Ginza from its basement level. While the hotel is situated between two subway lines, neither is too far away, making this location excellent value for money. We booked a family room for two adults and two children, which had four beds. The bathroom and toilet were separate (wet and dry areas), and the room layout was quite good.

Relabo Hotel boasts an excellent location right next to the JR station. From the station's third floor, there's a direct walkway leading to an elevator that takes you straight to the hotel's 4th-floor front desk. It's incredibly convenient. Nearby, you'll find the Apple Factory and the Nebuta Museum, and downstairs there's a department store for shopping and dining. A highlight of the hotel is its hot springs, and they also offer some yoga activities, though we didn't participate as we don't speak Japanese. Guests can enjoy the hot springs for free, and female guests are personally escorted into the bathing area by staff, which feels very safe. After a soak, you can grab an ice cream or head to the observation deck to enjoy the view with some crackers and apple juice – a truly leisurely holiday experience. The room was comfortable and quiet with ample space for luggage, offering city views and a glimpse of the ocean bridge. The scenery at sunset was particularly beautiful. The hotel isn't right next to a subway station, but the shuttle bus service is super convenient, running every 15 minutes to and from Meguro Station. It pretty much covers all your transportation needs. It wasn't until after we checked out that we realized they'd upgraded our room type! It was definitely bigger, and we could easily spread out three 28-inch suitcases, which was really handy. The only downside was that the facilities felt a bit old. Even though it had been renovated, there was still an unpleasant smell from the sink drain in the bathroom.

Tokyo Station/Nihonbashi Tokyo|1.35km from city center
The location of this hotel is simply unbeatable, right next to Tokyo Station. You don't even need to go above ground; there's a dedicated hotel elevator in the Otemachi exit underground, which is incredibly convenient. However, if you're transferring to other subway lines, expect about an 8-minute walk for most of them. Also, a heads-up: the front desk is on the 7th floor, but there's a hotel sign on the ground floor for taxi drop-offs. Since the hotel is right by Tokyo Station, you have easy access to all sorts of food, drinks, and shopping, which is why I didn't bother with the hotel breakfast. I could sleep in every day and try different local delicacies. Even the FamilyMart convenience store had amazing food options. It's an older hotel that was renovated last year, but the facilities are complete, clean, and comfortable. What I particularly liked was the shower setup; unlike some hotels where you shower inside the tub, here they have a separate shower space next to the tub. This design makes the bathroom feel quite spacious, even if the room itself is on the smaller side. I've seen this kind of bathroom design in other Japanese hotels too, so I wonder if it's a common feature in local accommodations. The front desk staff spoke good English, and I was very satisfied with their luggage storage and early check-in services. Plus, you need your room card to operate the elevators, which adds to the security. I was out and about from morning till night, so I didn't get a chance to experience the restaurant or bar, but overall, the value for money is high. I'd definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Tokyo! It's perfect for anyone who values convenience, loves shopping, and isn't too particular about room size.

The 30-meter sky pool and Japanese hot springs are truly a dream. The service is incredibly attentive, almost as if they can read your mind, and breakfast is exquisite and delicious. While the room rates are high, the impeccable sense of ultimate luxury makes it an absolute must-stay experience at least once in a lifetime. Highly recommended!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a wonderful stay at The Blossom Hibiya! The hotel is in a very convenient location, just a short walk from Shimbashi Station and close to Ginza and Hibiya. The room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed, with an amazing city view. The lobby and lounge were also lovely, and the staff were friendly, courteous, and very helpful throughout our stay. We especially enjoyed the breakfast—it had a great variety of Japanese and Western options, and everything was delicious. Overall, The Blossom Hibiya exceeded our expectations. Great location, beautiful views, comfortable rooms, and excellent service. We would definitely stay here again when we visit Tokyo! ❤️🇯🇵

Tokyo Station/Nihonbashi Tokyo|1.09km from city center
I visited Tokyo with my 88-year-old father. The hotel’s location is arguably the absolute best, making it incredibly convenient to visit Tokyo’s major attractions. The hotel facilities were also highly satisfying. First and foremost, the amenities in the guest room were excellent, and the thoughtful accessibility considerations for the elderly or infirm gave us great peace of mind. For instance, the provision of a bath chair with a backrest was very impressive. The hygiene and meticulous housekeeping were of the highest standard. Furthermore, the non-slip mat provided in the bathroom clearly reflected a deep consideration for the guests' specific needs. All of this, of course, is a testament to the staff’s proactive service and attentive care. If there was one minor disappointment, I wish a wider variety of pillows had been available in the room. In this regard, I felt it fell slightly short of meeting guests' diverse preferences. Additionally, as a helpful suggestion for safety, designing bathroom doors to open outward to facilitate emergency access in case of an accident inside is a fundamental design principle for luxury hotels. While preventing accidents altogether is ideal, being fully prepared for emergencies is what sets the highest standard of excellence. On another note, despite the hotel being located within a major railway station, there was absolutely no noise. The soundproofing was truly remarkable. The breakfast offered a rich and diverse selection, beautifully balancing traditional Japanese cuisine with Western options. While ordering a more unique or specialized beverage took a bit of time, the quality and taste were highly satisfying. The other facilities, particularly the restaurants and cafes, were exceptionally calm, elegant, and quiet, providing a very pleasant experience. The food, of course, tasted excellent. However, you must ensure you have ample time to enjoy it; it can require a significant amount of time and patience before the food is served in front of you. Overall, our experience was exceptionally satisfying and wonderful. With its rich historical background and narrative, the hotel offered a deeply engaging and far from boring stay.

The room was fantastic, very spacious! I could easily open up three large suitcases (26-28 inches) without a problem. They even upgraded my room on the first night, and as a registered member, I got to enjoy the free mini-bar. It was a really great stay!!!!!

The hotel's location is top-notch, with direct access to the Hibiya Line right downstairs and the Imperial Palace East Garden next door. It's incredibly convenient for exploring Ginza. The room was also very spacious and luxurious, and the walk-in closet was a good size and very practical. The service was even more exceptional; from check-in to check-out, guests felt warmly welcomed. Absolutely fantastic! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

This was my very first visit to Tokyo, and staying at Dai-ichi Hotel Tokyo was an absolute privilege. From the front lobby to room service and the Club Lounge, I was deeply moved by the incredible hospitality and kindness of every single staff member. Coming to Tokyo without knowing much about the city, I couldn't have picked a better location. It provided seamless access to all the places I wanted to visit, including Ginza, Tokyo Station, the Imperial Palace, Azabudai Hills, and Shibuya. On top of that, the vibrant izakayas surrounding the hotel were so inviting that I wished I could visit them all. Without a doubt, I will choose this hotel again for my next trip to Tokyo. Thank you once again to the entire team for a memorable stay.

Tokyo Station/Nihonbashi Tokyo|2.31km from city center
The room was a bit old but reasonably well-maintained, and the cleanliness was okay. However, the automatic flush on the bidet toilet was very dirty, so I didn't use it. Also, I stayed for 4 nights, and while my child's bed didn't have bugs, on my first night, I felt something like dust mites jumping on me. After 4 nights, I had about 8-9 bites around my waist and stomach. I was really unhappy about this; I suspect it was bed bugs due to the old age of the mattress and duvet inserts. The picture is after applying mosquito balm, so the redness has gone down a bit; originally, they were red and raised. On the plus side, the toiletries were L'Occitane, and the airport bus stop for the return journey is just a 3-minute walk across what I assume is the southern road to the main bus terminal. There's a new Lawson across the street, and a 7-Eleven just a few steps away. Two drugstores are within a 5-minute walk. The subway entrance downstairs is convenient for going to Disneyland. For other places, you generally have to walk about 8 minutes to another Hibiya Line station to get to Shibuya, Akihabara, and other areas.

Agora Tokyo Ginza is positioned as a refined, relatively intimate urban hotel rather than a large luxury chain property. Excellent location, cleanliness, helpful staff, and calm “iki” atmosphere amid the energy of Ginza. It suits travelers who want a stylish, culturally themed base near shopping, dining, theater, and transport without being in the absolute busiest tourist core.

Roppongi Tokyo|3.16km from city center
Review: Remm Roppongi (レム六本木) Our stay at Remm Roppongi was very enjoyable and a great base for exploring Tokyo. The hotel’s location is absolutely one of its biggest strengths — it’s just steps from Roppongi Station, surrounded by restaurants, shops, and nightlife, and in a vibrant part of the city that’s easy to explore on foot or by subway. The rooms are clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed, with free Wi-Fi and comfort in mind. Although the rooms are on the smaller side, as is common in Tokyo, clever layout and features like a massage chair made the space very comfortable for relaxing after long days of sightseeing. One of the memorable parts of our stay was the night view — higher-floor rooms offer beautiful city and Tokyo Tower views, which was a highlight of the experience. The staff were friendly and professional, always ready to help with requests, and check-in/out was smooth. Guest reviews consistently praise how attentive and polite the team is. Breakfast (optional buffet) has a nice variety and was delicious — a great way to start the day before heading out. On the flip side, there’s no bathtub in most rooms, so if you really want a bath it might not be ideal, and the hotel doesn’t have extensive facilities like a spa or gym — but for a city stay where the focus is exploring Tokyo, it’s perfect. Overall, Remm Roppongi offers excellent comfort, great convenience, and a high-quality experience for a business or leisure trip in Tokyo, especially if you value location and a modern, comfortable room to return to each evening.

Tokyo Station/Nihonbashi Tokyo|1.13km from city center
The hotel boasts an excellent location near Tokyo Station, specifically the Yaesu exit. You can navigate through the underground mall, take an elevator to ground level, and once outside, look for a cafe called Tsubakiya Coffee. The hotel is located on a small street right next to this cafe. The room itself is quite small; there's barely enough space to open two suitcases. However, it's clean and tidy, equipped with a bathtub, shower, refrigerator, and an electric kettle. Our room had a window, but there was no view – just a very close-up wall of the adjacent building. The air conditioning unit seemed a bit old, as even on the lowest setting, it made a noticeable sound. The staff were very friendly. Toiletries like facial cleanser and lotion are available for guests to pick up at the front desk. During non-breakfast hours, guests can also enjoy complimentary coffee and tea. Additionally, hotels in Tokyo charge a consumption tax per person, with the exact amount calculated based on the nightly room rate. Ctrip does mention this, and the front desk will collect it. For our stay of 4 people across 2 rooms for 1 night, we paid 400 JPY.

Haneda Airport/Kamata Tokyo|13.45km from city center
The room was small, but clean and well-designed, allowing us to open two 32-inch suitcases inside! There's a free airport shuttle service in the morning and evening, which is perfect for early departures or late arrivals. Plus, it's affordable, and the staff are all very enthusiastic and polite!

Ueno/Asakusa Tokyo|5.43km from city center
The room was bigger than we expected but the location of the hotel was far from the nearest station in both directions (Ueno station and Iriya station). If you came back from your trip via the Hibiya line at Iriya station you would pass Gindaco (Tagoyaki shop) and have it for dinner. The Ueno station used the Iriya exit to walk back to the hotel. Breakfast was plain but considering at this price it's excepted for me. This is my second time with this hotel, they upgraded to a deluxe twin room for me. You will be impressed by the size and decorating especially the bath tub that is not a standard bathroom. You can lay down to relax your body after a long walk on the day.
