It was very good to stay with my family.
It was beautiful and spacious and the children were happy.
I was saved because the parking lot was close.
However, unfortunately, I was worried when I was sleeping that the sensor in the toilet on the 2nd floor was out of order or that water was flowing every 30 minutes ...
I didn't know the reporting location and I filled it here.
Others are satisfied.

It was a very nice room.
It's a little bit of a place, but it's a little bit of a place.
I think it was very good.
I went by car rental, but the nearby parking lot 🅿️ was also cheap.

Self-check-in is a bit inconvenient. Because you need an access code to enter the hall, you can go outside and wait for someone to come out. Of course, this is relatively safe. The sofa is dirty, there are obvious stains, and everything else is OK.

It's about 20 minutes walk from Hakata Station.
It's good to have a good food in the mart right in front of you.

Hakata Fukuoka|1.44km from city center
The hotel is very close to the airport; a taxi ride costs no more than 2000 JPY, and the subway is also very convenient. The room is quite spacious, and toiletries, skincare products, and slippers are all provided. As it was New Year's, the hotel organized a series of events, such as a New Year's Eve concert and countdown in the lobby, giving out adzuki bean cakes, and hanging festive ornaments.
I left an item behind when checking out, and I was able to contact the hotel and retrieve it through Ctrip's dedicated customer service. The hotel arranged for EMS to ship it back to my home country. Communication with both Ctrip and the hotel's customer service was smooth, with quick and attentive responses.
The only minor drawbacks were that the hotel did not provide body lotion, and the sheets and comforter weren't quite comfortable enough.FromMYR 344

This hotel boasts an excellent location, right across from Hakata Station (Chikushi Exit). It's connected to Hankyu Department Store and AMU PLAZA, and there are tons of drugstores, yakiniku restaurants, and ramen shops nearby. What I loved most were the abundance of brunch coffee shops!
It's only two stops to Tenjin and two stops to the airport. There's also an airport shuttle bus (310 JPY, cashless payment only) directly across from the hotel.
The cleanliness and staff service were absolutely fantastic!FromMYR 898

This was my second stay here, and it was very comfortable. The hotel staff are all very enthusiastic and the service is excellent. The only downside is that the price was really expensive right before Christmas. The hotel is conveniently located right next to a mall where you can find drugstores, Onitsuka Tiger, Moussy, and Sanrio – a one-stop shop for everything! There are also plenty of restaurants nearby, including many popular bakeries, all within walking distance.FromMYR 1,022

Absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Okura. Hands down the best Jap hotel we've stayed! Staff were incredibly polite, and we loved how the room was spacious and all the amenities were readily available - even comfy bedroom slippers, face towels (yes face towels, which are very uncommon in jap hotels) and 2 hairdryers. The bathroom had ample space for me to place me skincare and makeup products, and the toothpaste tasted good (I personally didn't like many other toothpastes in other jap hotels). Mugs for rinsing mouths were also made of ceramic with nice floral designs. There were enough hooks in the bathroom to place our dirty and clean clothes as well. Loved the blackout curtains and also that the toilet light doesn't flood the entire room with light (common in jap hotels), so my hubby could continue sleeping whilst I got ready for the day. Staff were also polite and greeted us each time we walked past, brought our luggage up to our hotel room, and facilitated a seamless check-in and check-out process. 2 bottles of fresh-tasting 550ml mineral water were also provided daily.FromMYR 580

Not recommended.
The main reason is the inconvenient location. It's about a kilometer walk to the Tenjin area, and the subway station is in an awkward spot. Even if you take the train one stop to Tenjin-Minami, you still have a walk afterwards. I'd suggest staying closer to Tenjin, even if it means sacrificing a bit of space; proximity is better.
Cleanliness: Average. They didn't even clean up the previous guest's cotton swabs.
Service: Pretty good.
The hotel overall is quite old and doesn't even have a swimming pool. I don't think it's worth the price. Other than being a bit more spacious and having room for a suitcase, I don't see much else that's great about it.FromMYR 375

The room was spacious and the facilities were quite new, with good hygiene. For Japan, the room was big, and so was the bed. If you can get it for under 400 (currency not specified, assuming JPY) during the off-season for a single person, it's a really good deal. During peak season, at nearly 1000, it feels like fair value for money.FromMYR 295

Hakata Fukuoka|1.08km from city center
The hotel is technically in between 3 subway stations — Hakata (7 - 8 mins walk), Gion (7 - 8 mins walk), and Kushida Shrine (2 mins walk) — and also located conveniently near Canal City Hakata shopping mall, Kushida shrine, and many stores and restaurants nearby. The cleanliness of the hotel overall was good but a little less positive for the room itself, as some parts of the washroom’s privacy blinds looked like they aren’t cleaned regularly and edges of the room’s carpet were often not cleaned well (wearing slippers in the room and not touching the privacy blinds easily mitigates these concerns). A personal issue and warning for taller guests would be that the position of the toilet in the narrow bathroom (at least for the ‘cozy double’ room) requires users to face a section of the wall quite closely when seated, which would likely be uncomfortable/ impossible for people taller than 175 cm to use while sitting down (the attached photo is taken with a 0.6x camera lens). The air conditioning for the rooms was shared by a central air system which cooled the rooms well, but it is worth noting for those with sensitive noses that there was a very faint but noticeable odour of old cigarette smoke in the room despite the current no-smoke policy. The coin laundry room is very small with only 1 washing machine, 1 dryer, and 1 hybrid washer-dryer machine (also, no coin exchange machine is present), so I recommend washing mid-day or in the early evening if possible. The front desk receptionists and cleaning staff were kind and approachable (in both English and Japanese), the check-in and check-out processes were smooth, and the hotel did offer free luggage storage services after check-out. Overall, an enjoyable and budget-friendly stay.FromMYR 310

Excellent service from the hotel! They allowed us to leave our luggage for two nights even before checking in (as we’re taking a trip out of Fukuoka). Room is spacious for a Japan hotel standard. Only downside was the curtains that doesn’t seem to be blackout curtains. Breakfast has a decent spread! Convenient location but the nearest subway exit to the hotel does not have a lift / escalator though! The famous full full bakery and shin shin ramen ar just a few mins walk from the hotel.FromMYR 349

Nakasu Fukuoka|0.6km from city center
The front desk service was pretty standard. The room was even smaller than ones in Tokyo; my small suitcase could only be opened by blocking the door, and I had to close it every time I left in the morning. I always had to plan carefully what to take out. Yet, it cost around 1000, and I'm not sure why hotels in Fukuoka generally seem a bit more expensive. However, the hotel's location is excellent, right next to the Nakasu River. A 100-meter walk to the left brings you to Don Quijote (Nakasu store), there's a supermarket downstairs (sashimi for 500-600 yen), and Anpanman Children's Museum & Park is just across the street. The hotel also offers free tea and coffee, and the breakfast voucher stub can be exchanged for dessert – I didn't notice it had a date, meaning it was for the same day's breakfast + same-day dessert exchange. Finally, a complaint about the air conditioner in the room; it blew directly onto the head of the bed, but turning it off made it too hot.FromMYR 299

The hotel is about a 7-8 minute walk from Hakata Station's Chikushi Gate, which is quite convenient for getting around. The room was a little smaller than another hotel with breakfast I've stayed at, but that wasn't a big deal. The toiletries provided were limited to toothpaste and toothbrushes; it would have been even better if skincare products were also available. Breakfast was Western-style, and guests could make their own pizzas.FromMYR 291

The location is super convenient! It's within walking distance of Gion Station on the Airport Line, Kushida Shrine Station on the Nanakuma Subway Line, Hakata Station, as well as Canal City Hakata, Kushida Shrine, and Nakasu Kawabata street.
The breakfast spread is generous, primarily Japanese-style, and even features the famous Ikkousha ramen from Hakata.
The rooms are quiet and spotlessly clean, and you have the flexibility to choose whether you'd like daily housekeeping. The top floor has a communal bathhouse where you can enjoy a hot spring soak to wash away your fatigue.
The Japanese-style breakfast, convenient transportation, and the hot spring bath are definitely the biggest highlights.FromMYR 639

The room is really dated. No enough air convention in the room and stuffy. The air-conditioning is in weak mode. I stayed for twice during my trip. The first 2 nights at rooms on 8/F, the WIFI is strong, the water pressure is strong. The lighting is too dim and the lamp at door entrance is out of order and not able to fix before I check out. The carpets and air conditioning make the room hot and stuffy. I asked staff to open the window for us to get fresh air but a bit noisy. Not good for light sleeper.
The second stays were allocated to 13/F floor, room is brighter and looks new. Alternatively, the WIFI is not stable and water pressure is not so strong. Not sure if it is about the high floor reason.
The staffs are professional and polite and helpful most of the time. Location and price are the key reason for staying. It would be good they could renovate the hotel and upgrade its facilities in future.FromMYR 325

This is our second stay here in two years, and now it's packed with Koreans. There were Korean staff at the front desk, but no Chinese-speaking staff this time.
The cleanliness was a bit of a surprise; it's the first time I've encountered something like this in Japan – there was still lipstick on the cups, and the landline phone was covered in dust.
It's a bit of a walk from the subway station, but a taxi to the airport was less than 3,000 JPY.FromMYR 315
