The overall feeling is good, the location is excellent. The breakfast service is good. It's just that the hotel was under renovation on the weekend and we were not informed, so it was a bit noisy.

The rooms in foreign countries are generally small. It was good to travel abroad during the May Day holiday. The service was very good, the customer service was very gentle, and the overall feeling was good. But it was a holiday. The price is still a bit high

An old luxury hotel with a very good location, right by the lake. It is very convenient to eat, drink and shop around. The room facilities are also well maintained. Fruits and bottled water are provided every day. Flowers are carefully placed in the room. It is indeed Warm-hearted and has the feel of old-style luxury.

The hotel is really nice and a perfect start to my Swiss solo. It is very suitable for friends who have high requirements for quality travel and have high requirements for hotels. The basic room type of the hotel is not very large, more than 30 square meters, but the hardware facilities inside are very good, and the service is also excellent. The next day I went to experience the gym and I happened to have a class. I spent some time there. The swimming pool, indoor and outdoor hot springs and saunas are all available. It is very suitable for vacation. Every dish in the breakfast is presented like Michelin hahaha. The restaurant manager even came to follow me. chat. The hotel also has its own golf course. Halfway up the mountain. A very happy stay experience, worth the rush!

The hotel is RIGHT IN FRONT of the main Central Train station. Behind the hotel is the shopping belt and the old town where you can walk to see the various architectural buildings.
The staff there were helpful especially in the early morning getting me a taxi to the airport.
Cleaning staff replenishes the toiletries daily without fail.
Is a great hotel location and place to stay in Zurich.

It was all good.
Facing down the lake makes it really relaxing. One can even rent a SUP at the concierge. It was maybe just a little bit too much attitudes at the check-in. Everything else is just perfect.

The room is clean and tidy, the bathroom is spacious, with a separate shower room and bathtub, the breakfast coffee downstairs is delicious, and it is very convenient to go shopping in the center of the pedestrian street. The disadvantage is that the door is too small and the view outside the window is average.

Beautiful hotel, superbly located. We walked from here to most of the places we wanted to visit and only a short step to trams if you need them. Breakfast was well presented and plentiful. Room amenities were spot on.

The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable. What I appreciated most was the comprehensive range of power outlets; in addition to Swiss standard sockets, there were also European standard ones. Crucially, the Swiss outlets weren't the recessed type, which made it incredibly easy to use various plugs and adapters (as shown in image 9). An electric kettle was also provided in the room.
While the hotel's location is a bit further from the train station, Old Town, and lakeside attractions, public transport connections are extremely convenient. Tram line 3 provides direct access between the hotel and the train station (the tram stop is about a 7-8 minute walk to the left after exiting the hotel). Tram line 2 takes you to the Old Town, Bahnhofstrasse, Lake Zurich, and other sights (this tram stop is within a 3-4 minute walk to the right after exiting the hotel, see images 7 & 8).
The hotel breakfast was quite good, offering a rich and delicious selection.
Upon check-in, a credit card pre-authorization for a security deposit of CHF 150 per room was required. The city tax was CHF 3.5 per person per night.FromAU$290

Environment: The train station is just a short walk across the street. There's a McDonald's nearby for breakfast and a Coop supermarket also very close.

Overall, my experience at the hotel was excellent. The single room I stayed in this time was the largest I've encountered in Europe so far – it was very spacious and comfortable. The location is super convenient, about a 12-minute walk to Zurich HBF train station. There are plenty of restaurants downstairs to choose from, making dining very easy. Plus, there's a Coop supermarket right below the hotel, so it's super handy to grab water and snacks and bring them straight back. In comparison, the water in the hotel's vending machine was indeed a bit pricey; buying from the supermarket was much more economical. The room was a bit small, but! The transportation was incredibly convenient. There's a bus stop right outside, and it's just a short walk to ETH Zurich, literally across the street. The hotel is also near the train station, just one bus stop away. The guy at the front desk was super nice! He helped us store our luggage, provided us with hot and cold water, and even re-stored our bags when we needed to grab something in between! Super nice~FromAU$361

We loved our stay at the hotel wellenberg during our recent trip to Zurich, it was perfectly situated and a lovely spacious family room. The bathroom could use an update, which I’m sure is in the works, as one that I spotted by the elevator looked stunning! Our kids especially loved the family tv/gaming room and special mention must be made of the lovely front desk staff and Ruth at breakfast who was absolutely charming. Very solid “3 star” hotel located in a very central location.
Hotel Adler is “3 stars” but everything considered, as good as if not better than other 4 star hotels in European capitals.
The location is in a cute location in old town by Central station and the University of Zurich. Very easy to get to and from airport from here and is a very nice location to walk around and explore Zurich from.
Room itself was kind of small but was clean and comfortable.
What’s great is also the restaurant Swiss Chuchi at the bottom of the hotel. It serves the breakfast if included (which was pretty good. Standard pastries/bread as well as cold cuts, eggs, fruits, etc.) and highly recommend visiting for actual restaurant meal service which includes the famous fondue.FromAU$241

A fast and frequent 10-minute tram from the main station to hotel. Very friendly and diligent staff. Clean room and toilet with convertible sofa/bed. Breakfast was very delicious and comfortable, and there are a lot of choices. Restaurant obviously understaff at breakfast time but staff are very diligent and helpful - fast servicing to clean tables, refill food, and even teach customers how to use coffee machines.
