The room is beautiful, with a stunning view, and the service is incredibly thoughtful. It truly lives up to its reputation as the world's top hotel. The breakfast spread is also very rich and diverse; slowly enjoying breakfast while overlooking Victoria Harbour is such a peaceful and wonderful experience!

An excellent Rosewood hotel, a must-stay for me every time I visit Hong Kong. The breakfast is absolutely delicious, the staff are incredibly professional, and the room cleaning and laundry services are very thorough and efficient. Everyone is warm and courteous.

The Hong Kong Mandarin Oriental Hotel, located at 5 Connaught Road Central in Hong Kong, boasts an excellent location with stunning views of Victoria Harbour (telescopes provided!) and is conveniently close to the MTR station. It underwent a $140 million renovation in 2006. As a five-star hotel, the rooms are clean, tidy, and exude a classic, cultured ambiance. The facilities are comprehensive, and the shower works wonderfully! The service is incredibly thoughtful; they even surprised me with a birthday cake and well wishes! What a delightful surprise!

Mandarin Oriental's turndown service is a hit with the kids, complete with a stuffed animal and special children's bedding. Even though we arrived late, we still caught the Christmas tree lighting ceremony at Statue Square, and my little one was glued to the window watching it for ages. It's an older hotel, so it might not be as grand as some, but the service is impeccable, and the location is absolutely fantastic. It's always our top choice when bringing the kids to Hong Kong.

I almost always stay here when I'm on business trips to Hong Kong. The ladies at check-in even recognize me now, and it always feels so welcoming when I go! No major issues, though some of the electrical appliances are a bit old, and some rooms can have a bit of noise. I'm sensitive to noise, but they always manage to sort it out for me. If only they'd update the in-room dining menu, I'm getting tired of it! 😂 The coffee and tea are both excellent, and the location is super convenient. I'd still highly recommend it!

For many years, when I traveled to Hong Kong for business, The Upper House was my go-to choice. Coming back after a 5-year hiatus, I feel even more warmly welcomed. The service goes far beyond 5 stars, from check-in to various housekeeping and dining services, it's all textbook-level excellent! Every area of the hotel is also very clean; I didn't see any stains anywhere. Highly, highly recommended!

Wow, I had a fantastic stay at the four seasons in HK. The arrival greeting, checking and personnel who greeted us were all fantastic. This was our final stay after 7 weeks away and I couldn’t ask for a better and more glorious end to our trip.. The room was perfect, a perfect harbour view, the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on, and that’s coming from a chronic insomniac, and the attention to detail was phenomenal. The blackout blinds, the quietness in the room, the level of cleanliness, no detail was overlooked. I can’t praise you highly enough. I actually missed our first night booked due to a time change error and that was a shame as I would’ve valued another night sleeping in those comfortable beds. Will I be staying at four seasons again, absolutely, can’t wait. Btw where can I get that bed for my home? More organisations could learn from your level of custom care and service.  Nancy

Room type - Grand harbour one plus Good location, very convenient for shopping and dinning to arrive just a minute using hotel lift. Great variety choices of restaurants from food court to fine dining at K11 Musea. Hotel guests can even taking a relaxing walk and running along Victoria harbour view. I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for the exceptional service I received during my recent stay. From the moment I arrived, staff Ken Chui & Jimmy made me feel welcomed and valued, especially Ken sent me handwritten welcome notes, warm gift & thanks for his giving detailed information on my modification request of upgrading room. Every interaction, whether with the front desk, housekeeping & dinning staff, Hotel team's dedication to ensuring a pleasant experience truly made my visit memorable. Thank you for going above and beyond. I look forward to my next stay!

The environment, facilities, service, and location are all excellent. The rooms are spacious, and the sea view from the ocean-facing rooms is absolutely stunning. For first-time visitors, please note that the hotel has two front desks, both requiring an elevator ride to the 10th floor before you can access your room's floor.

We encountered a typhoon, and the previous hotel was fully booked, so we made a last-minute reservation at The Peninsula. Since it wasn't booked through their official website, we couldn't check in early. Service: Throughout our stay, there was always someone available to assist us. Ordering room service was also very convenient, and I highly recommend the Chinese food. Environment: It's very close to the subway, and you can even walk to K11 underground (so no worries about sun or rain). To get to the airport, you can take the A21 or A25 from K11.

The Peninsula is definitely worth staying at again and again. My last visit was during the Chinese New Year in 2024, and this time the front desk specifically asked if I was okay with staying in the same room as before. That was very thoughtful. The service is professional: they're there when you need them, and they won't disturb you when you don't.

I chose this hotel for my birthday trip to Hong Kong, and they thoughtfully prepared a cake for me. The night view was absolutely stunning, and the service was warm and welcoming. It's incredibly close to the Avenue of Stars and Nathan Road, making it super convenient for getting around. Definitely worth a return visit! The only thing to be aware of is the pool next to the smoking area by the hotel entrance – they should really add a sign. When you're admiring the night view, it's easy to mistake it for a glass walkway and accidentally step right in.

A birthday staycation. Got a nice chestnut cake. The room is nice, clean and spacious but throughout the daytime birds chirping was somehow loud and disturbing… Nevertheless, the bed was as comfortable as it could get and the breakfast was delicious with great variety of choices.

The overall hotel environment is great and very quiet. The hotel's location is super convenient, close to both Exhibition Centre Station and Wan Chai Station. You can even use the skybridge directly, so no worries about rainy weather. If you want to go to Tsim Sha Tsui, you can take the Star Ferry, as it's very close to the pier. The hotel's breakfast is fantastic; it's à la carte, with Chinese, Western, and Japanese options, plus some additional items you can order. Personally, I find this more convenient than a buffet. I highly recommend the Japanese salmon set! The in-room dining menu is also excellent. The room is quite spacious for a Hong Kong hotel, with two 1.5-meter single beds, making it family-friendly when traveling with kids. The hotel also provides unlimited complimentary drinks and snacks daily, which is a huge plus! They can even provide milk for children. Overall, it's pretty good, but there's room for improvement in the details. I had requested baby amenities and a cot in advance, but when we got to the room, none of them were prepared. The cot installation afterward wasn't professional either; the bars weren't secured into the mattress, and the bedding wasn't neatly arranged, with the mattress and bed frame showing, which wasn't a very pleasant sight.

The St. Regis has yet to disappoint, especially when it comes to breakfast – it's absolutely fantastic! 👍 My wife and I were here for a business trip (it's perfect for a getaway without kids). At this caliber, the facilities, cleanliness, ambiance, and service are all top-notch. (One small suggestion: perhaps a heads-up about the room's fragrance. Not all guests appreciate it, but it could be moved to a cupboard.) The service from all departments was excellent, especially the concierge. We were going for dinner a short distance away and couldn't find a taxi, so they arranged a hotel car for us. When we returned, they warmly greeted us and asked about our dining experience, which was very thoughtful. ❤️

It was incredibly convenient to get to the hotel right after taking the high-speed train from Kowloon! As soon as I arrived at the front desk, I was offered two cups of hot tea, which was a lovely, heartwarming touch. The girl who checked me in was professional, patient, and had a wonderful smile; she even proactively upgraded my room. The moment I entered the room and saw the Victoria Harbour view, it felt completely worth the price! The room was impeccably clean – even the ceiling air vents were free of dust and spiderwebs, with no overlooked corners. I had initially worried about the hotel being old given its age, but that concern was totally unfounded. Breakfast offered a wide variety, and enjoying it with the sea view was delightful! When checking out, I had a 4 PM high-speed train and thought it would be perfect if I could extend check-out until after 2 PM. This would allow me to go to Central in the morning, return for an afternoon nap, and then not have to rush back from Central to catch the train. After checking out at 2 PM, I could just stroll downstairs and head to the high-speed train station, making for a smoother route without backtracking. Unfortunately, the guy at the front desk wasn't as accommodating; after much discussion, he reluctantly extended check-out only until 1 PM. That was a bit of a disappointment. However, apart from that, the overall experience was still great and exceeded my expectations. I'm very satisfied and will definitely come back again.
- Xiaobaiyezi
This was my second stay at this hotel in December, and both times the service attitude was really subpar. When checking in, the front desk staff gave me a snarky attitude because of a card issue. Some hotel staff members become very resistant and pretend not to understand once they hear you speaking Chinese. I ordered afternoon tea in the lounge area of my 116th-floor suite, and it didn't arrive for over an hour because the staff forgot about it. Also, the lobby staff at a five-star hotel couldn't even speak Chinese! During my first stay here in August, I checked out at 1 PM. At 3 PM, I remembered I had left an envelope with money and a pair of Chanel jeans in the room. After I insisted, the front desk accompanied me back to the room to look. The two housekeeping staff members had already put my forgotten envelope and Chanel jeans into a bag. It's unbelievable that they found a guest's forgotten items and didn't notify the front desk or the guest.

Seriously unbeatable value for money! The complimentary HKD 800 dining credit was enough for a meal for both rooms, and surprisingly, the food was delicious and affordable. All the breakfast items are made to order, and the service was impeccable. There aren't many shops downstairs, so for meals, you either walk 10-15 minutes to the south side of Central, or walk to Central/Admiralty MTR stations, which also takes about 10 minutes – still quite convenient. The Peak Tram entrance is right outside. The soundproofing in the rooms is excellent. Overall, I was extremely satisfied. After staying two nights here, moving to the Sheraton in Tsim Sha Tsui felt like going to a village.
- _M1589060****
The room was very clean and quite spacious for Hong Kong. An extra bed could be added. Hotel breakfast is from 6:30 AM to 1:30 PM, and the executive lounge is open from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM. In the afternoon, they offer refreshments, and in the evening, they serve hot snacks like mini burgers and chicken nuggets. If you book a package with breakfast and executive lounge access, you won't need to go out for meals all day.

Traveling with my child and mother, I was looking for a hotel close to Nanchang Street. After much comparison, I finally booked this place. The living room was a big draw – it meant the little one could play indoors during the hot daytime, and I could relax there quietly in the evenings. Overall, I'm very satisfied. The living room is spacious and well-equipped with a kitchen, washing machine, bar counter, and dining table. The room and bathroom were also generously sized. Nanchang Street is just diagonally across from the hotel, making it super convenient to visit. Huishan Ancient Town is less than a 20-minute drive away. Free parking is available downstairs. The lobby offers complimentary ice cream, and they even have delivery robots for takeout orders, which is incredibly convenient. We were so impressed that we decided to extend our stay for another night right after checking in!

My sister, her children and I were on a trip, and a friend recommended Hotel Nikko. The location is superb; it's incredibly convenient to get around, with everything within walking distance or a short taxi ride. Upon check-in, we were given a complimentary room upgrade. Breakfast was great, satisfying both the adults and the children. The service was excellent and very prompt. To further accommodate us, they kindly agreed to a late check-out until 3 PM. Wuxi was wonderful, and we'll definitely visit again and choose to stay here. Thank you!

For my trip to Wuxi, I chose the InterContinental Hotel for a three-night stay. The hotel proactively called and added me on WeChat for communication. Eleanor, one of the staff members, provided exceptional service. She upgraded us to the 37th floor, the highest in the hotel. The hotel has many spacious and fast elevators. Our room was large, and the hand soap had a particularly pleasant fragrance. The view from the window was unobstructed, offering a magnificent panorama from above. Eleanor also offered great suggestions for our travel itinerary, helping us plan our activities more efficiently. On the second day of our trip, when the weather changed, she even reminded us to dress warmly. Although the hotel is a bit far from the city center, its location is still excellent. The lobby is grand, and taxis are easily accessible. The Ningbo Museum, the closest attraction, is even within walking distance. (There seems to be a mix-up here, as the review mentions Wuxi but then 'Ningbo Museum'. I'll assume it meant Wuxi Museum or a local museum in Wuxi based on the context of the trip.) The hotel's breakfast is served on the 5th floor, and the most distinctive item was the Wuxi xiaolongbao (soup dumplings) – plentiful and delicious, much better than many found outside. It's a shame the hotel no longer offers a dinner buffet; I would have loved to try it. Let me also outline my three-day itinerary: Day 1: Liyuan Garden, then Three Kingdoms City & Water Margin City, followed by an evening visit to Nanchang Street. Day 2: Yuantouzhu Park in the morning, Wuxi Zoo in the afternoon, and an evening stroll through Huishan Ancient Town. On the final day, with only a half-day left, after breakfast, I visited the Wuxi Museum, hitting a total of seven attractions. I do have a couple of minor points regarding the hotel's amenities. The toothbrush felt a bit sticky on the teeth and wasn't very good. Also, tissues were only available in the bathroom, not near the bed, and the tissue quality wasn't the best. Overall, it's a very good hotel. There are still some attractions in Wuxi that I haven't visited, and if I come back to Wuxi, I would definitely choose this hotel again.

I had a great stay here. Excellent bed, bath tub, swimming pool etc. The hotel is a little old and is tough to spot at first but I loved it here. It was nice and quiet, easy check in etc. Tons of things around, I recommend the ”#65 coffee shop” up the street. The pool was good. The changing room in the pool was a bit old but it didn't affect me. Nice gym. Staff were all very pleasant, easy to get deliveries etc. Would definitely stay again. Taihu Lake Scenic Area/Wuxi rongchuang paradise/Ji Wuxi|15.09km from city center
I just stayed at Club Med in Nanjing and stayed at the Shibo Residence. Both hotels are primarily family-friendly. The Shibo Residence's rooms are smaller, with fewer child-friendly amenities, and the staff are smaller and less responsive. Everything else is acceptable, but the constant urging for positive reviews, under the pretext of a free upgrade, is a bit annoying. One of the two rooms asked if we could check out by 2 p.m., and the response was that we had already received a free upgrade, so we had to apply for a late checkout. The application process took a long time. I went downstairs and saw a guest who went directly to the front desk and asked, and they got the late checkout. The upgrade was first initiated by the hotel. Secondly, in all my previous hotels, if a room was available that day, we would upgrade it upon check-in. This time, this hotel called a day in advance and offered to upgrade. They then tried to trick me into signing up for a Huazhu Club membership of over 200 on WeChat. After I declined, they said they needed to consult with management for the upgrade. After I checked in, they started offering free upgrades again, so there was that. Whether we upgraded the room type or not, the room size and configuration were the same. Only one had a lake view, and that wasn't very good. Yet, we felt like we were being morally blackmailed. This is truly the first time I've seriously reviewed a hotel's service. It's probably mainly a management issue, forcing the customer service to behave this way. I hope the hotel doesn't punish the customer service staff for this.

After this stay, I'm seriously considering switching to InterContinental for good! ────⏰ Oct 27, 2025 – Oct 29, 2025 ⏰──── To my surprise, this was my most satisfying hotel stay of the year. I stayed in room 801, and first off, kudos to the housekeeping team. This hotel has the most meticulous room cleaning I've ever experienced across numerous hotels; they even folded my underwear neatly! And it's not just housekeeping; the overall service efficiency and attitude are truly a benchmark for the hospitality industry. I heard this used to be an old Kempinski that was rebranded as a Crowne Plaza. I'm not sure if the staff changed, or what other InterContinental hotels are like, as this was my first time choosing an InterContinental. I'm not even a member, but perhaps thanks to my Trip.com membership, I got a room upgrade and late checkout without any hassle. The experience was excellent. My only complaint is the lack of a doorman, with only one rude security guard at the entrance. I'll make a complaint about that here. All in all, I think I'll choose InterContinental again in the future. 🏠 Room: One-bedroom suite 🤵🏻♂️ Service: Prior to check-in, I discussed my preferences, and thanks to a birthday buff, I managed to get a suite without much effort. The service attitude and efficiency from the front desk, housekeeping, and F&B staff were truly impeccable, with the exception of the aforementioned security guard. Check-in and check-out at the front desk were smooth, and the room upgrade and late checkout until 3:30 PM were very accommodating and human-centered. A few more smiles would be even better. Housekeeping was very professional. After calling, the requested items were delivered immediately. Room cleaning requests were completed on time and to a high standard, and my clothes were neatly folded – truly touching. The F&B service was mainly for breakfast; plate clearing was very efficient, and the staff were warm and professional. 🥂 Dining: Most items were still available even close to 10 AM. The breakfast variety and quality were decent, and they didn't repeat dishes over the two days. The duck blood wonton soup on the first day left a particularly deep impression; the broth was very fresh and savory, and the greens were crisp. Unfortunately, there was no duck blood on the second day. The stir-fried dishes were alright. The remaining pastries, steamed dim sum, and drinks looked a bit subpar, like something from a factory. I hope they improve the drinks; at least use fresh soy milk. ⏳ Booking: Booked through a Trip.com 919 mega sale group purchase, and rooms weren't too tight. 🌱 Facilities & Environment: It's an old hotel. The elevator is quite fast and gets to the eighth floor quickly. The new air system in the room might be a bit old, making the air feel a bit stale, but the air conditioning worked fine. All facilities were in normal working order. I didn't watch TV, but it seemed new and a good size. The large-bottle toiletries were quite comfortable to use. The bedding was just right, not too soft or too hard, but it felt a bit stuffy, perhaps because the AC was on high. They provided Pure Life bottled water. 🈲 Privacy & Security: I was lazy and didn't scan for devices, but personal safety is definitely not an issue. 😷 Hygiene: No complaints about hygiene. The room generally appeared spotless, and the toiletries were very pleasant to use. 💰 Value for Money: 678.27 CNY for two nights in a Deluxe King room – the value for money is truly unbeatable. I'll definitely come again if there's another promotion. 🚗 Transportation: The outdoor parking lot in front of the hotel is a bit small. I was lucky enough to always find a spot, but sometimes spaces were inexplicably blocked off – I just moved the bollard myself and drove in. The underground parking is quite large, but the elevator was under maintenance, so it couldn't go directly to the hotel. I had to use another elevator to the hotel's main entrance and walk in, and then had to get the front desk to validate for exit, which was a bit inconvenient. DP @道仙OvO XHS @DaoXian

Thank you to Eleana for her thoughtful care before my stay. I had a wonderful experience at the hotel! What was initially a lonely business trip turned into a much more pleasant one, thanks to the receptionist lady with glasses. Perhaps she noticed my sadness and kindly upgraded me to an executive suite! The executive lounge had a wide view, offering a beautiful scene of 蠡湖 Lake. The two ladies working there were warm and attentive! I even made myself an orange C Americano, which lifted my spirits. Breakfast was plentiful, and the Wuxi soup dumplings were quite popular. The coffee was available to-go as well. I look forward to returning again!

The hotel's hardware facilities are relatively new, and the rooms were cleaned very cleanly during the May Day holiday. It is close to Metro Line 4, Wudu Road Station, and it is very convenient to walk three to five minutes from the subway. The water in the swimming pool on the 41st floor is relatively cold. Breakfast should be diversified, and the dishes change very little every day.

The hotel's location right next to Wuxi Station is incredibly convenient. Upon check-in, the friendly front desk staff upgraded us to a suite. The suite was incredibly spacious with very new facilities. They thoughtfully provided children's toiletries, and a particularly nice touch was the specially designed lower sink at the vanity, making it very kid-friendly. The hotel boasts a gym and swimming pool, and our little one absolutely loved splashing around in the pool. Breakfast offered a great variety of options. Even though it's right by the high-speed rail station, we didn't hear any noise. Our Ctrip package also included a complimentary double ticket for an Ancient Grand Canal boat tour. We chose the night tour, and it was a truly memorable experience.

Lovely hotel, friendly staff! 10 min from Wuxi New District rail station and 5 min walk to Wanda Plaza Mall. Near the lake and beautiful surroundings, lovely large room, Japanese toilet, clean linen, lovely duvet. Everything was great, staff very friendly! I forgot my charger and they lend me one with a smile. Ask for Mile he speaks very good English and is very friendly. Breakfast has everything - Chinese and western food and yummy donuts 😉

Friendly personnel. The room is good, clean and spacious; a bit mold in a shower though. Nice interior solution with a bathtub. We stayed in rainy day, unfortunately, umbrellas were not available (all were taken out and no umbrella in the room). Breakfast is relatively simple, mostly Asian style, kind of decent. Will I stay there again? - not sure; will depend on competitors’ offers; it feels a bit overpriced.

During the tourist season, the hotel was fully booked. I only booked a suite for the weekend. The room was spacious and bright, with complete facilities. The hygiene, environment and service were all good. The receptionist was warm and kind, especially the waiter on the 18th floor who was very dedicated. He was willing to help adjust the TV and provide more green tea bags. The room was cleaned and tidied in a timely and efficient manner. The overall living experience was good.

Room was clean and big. Front desk staff were not the most friendly but the aunties at the buffet restaurant were super friendly and helpful! They personally made red tea with ginger for my mum as she wasnt feeling very well. To note that there isnt a proper lobby/drop-off area outside the hotel and staff do not help with luggages so if u call for a didi, it might cause some congestion and car honking at u if u need time to load luggages in the car. Overall, stay was generally pleasant and good for a 3d2n trip.

I was deeply touched by the warmth and hospitality of the Wuxi people. There was a minor issue with the room's air conditioner dripping slightly, but it didn't really affect my stay. The front desk manager was very apologetic and kept insisting it was their fault, promptly calling maintenance to fix it immediately. The lovely lady also offered complimentary breakfast and a beautiful souvenir. This trip to Wuxi, with its rich cultural heritage and beautiful cityscape, moved me beyond words. A heartfelt thank you once again to all the staff at Jinjiang Inn.
