This was my first time visiting Vietnam, and I couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay! The hotel is located right in the center, which made it super easy to explore the city and visit all the main attractions. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable — exactly like the photos (maybe even better!). The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful; they always greeted me with a smile and went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. I truly felt welcomed here, and it made my first impression of Vietnam even more special. I would definitely come back and recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the country for the first time.

The location of the map is different from the actual situation. If you want to experience the accommodation in Vinhome, you can try it, but the whole hardware equipment is full of Yangchun and a little advertising is not true, you can't see the lake view, the only advantage may be that it is relatively cheap. Vietnamese hotels are not expensive. Not very recommended for this kind of homestay

This was my second stay here. The location is convenient, right next to the Hoa Lo Prison, and Hoan Kiem Lake is just an 800-meter walk away. There are many fruit vendors and affordable coffee shops near the hospital in front of the hotel. The hotel environment is comfortable, and it even has a washing machine, a refrigerator, a drying rack, and large bottles of water. The indoor lighting is excellent.

A small boutique hotel, with truly wonderful and professional staff that offers great service and hospitality that rivals many international 5-stars. From check-in, the staff was extremely helpful, attention to detail, and made sure we felt comfortable. Our 5-night stay was always greeted with smiling staff that were always there to provide everything we need. A simple question about the water puppet show at the front desk, and the staff even helped make a call to reserve tickets for us. At breakfast, the staff remembered our group, and even our preferred drinks. At check-out, the general manager greeted us personally to ask for our comments and even prepared a small gift for us. It is one of the best hotel experience I have had. Kudos to the team!

Hotel is clean and beds are comfortable. However, the air conditioner temperature in the room is hard to navigate and it felt warm in the middle of the night. The rooftop bar is supposed to be opened till 11pm (according to the info provided on the key card). However, it was already locked when we visited it at 9.30pm. Otherwise, everything else was good. Service was exceptional, would like to compliment Mr Lo Dai (senior chef at the pho and egg station) for his attentiveness and patience towards guests. Will definitely recommend this hotel.

This hotel stay was the perfect end to our Vietnam trip with friends and family, and we were absolutely delighted. We especially appreciated the early check-in at 10 AM and late check-out at 4 PM the next day for an extra $24, which was a fantastic option before our late-night flight back to Korea. The welcome fruit and refreshments in the room were a lovely touch, and my friend was so happy to receive a surprise flower delivery to our room in the afternoon. The king-size room felt more spacious than the twin room. The pool was large and clean, and the breakfast offered a great variety. The pho, in particular, was the best I've had during my two-week trip in Vietnam. If I come back to Hanoi, I will definitely choose the Daewoo Hotel again.

The location is fantastic. The room was smaller than I expected, and while there was a window, it immediately faced a wall, which made it feel a bit confined. The refrigerator wasn't very cold, which was a bit of a struggle during the hot weather. Check-in and check-out sometimes involved a bit of a wait, so it might not be ideal for impatient travelers. For breakfast, every morning they offered noodles and coffee, and *a la carte dishes and desserts?* (I don't think the desserts are a must-have) were brought to our table based on our order. The rest of the buffet also had a great variety and was very delicious. The staff were very kind, chatted with us, listened to our requests, and gave us recommendations, which was incredibly helpful. I felt a little bad that my English wasn't better, as it would have made things even smoother. Overall, it's a clean place and highly recommended.

I had a wonderful stay at Hanoi Allure Hotel and would highly recommend it. From the moment I arrived, the excellent hospitality of the staff made me feel truly welcome. Electric cooker and microwave oven are easy and useful if you want to cook by yourself. There’s a bar on the top floor, nice night view to the lake; also the breakfast is in the bar. The front desk was extremely helpful! They helped decorated our room as a surprise to my wife despite checking in earlier at 12.30pm. The rooftop bar overlooking the lake is great hang out spot. The sound proofing can definitely be improved as there were some guests checking in very late at night or returning from the outside at past midnight. It woke us up and affected our sleep quality. The hotel manager acknowledged this and apologized for it from our feedback card submitted after breakfast. They given us a free private transfer to the airport. 👍🏻 Great value for this very nice location!

A good hotel, not the newest, but tidy. We booked a room without a window, but they upgraded us to one with a huge window for free, which was a pleasant surprise. The staff was exceptionally friendly. The only drawback, common in many Vietnamese hotels, was the air conditioning unit being directly above the bed. Luckily, the room we were given was large enough that we could move the bed ourselves to avoid feeling the draft at night. The breakfasts were good, with a more Western-style cuisine. The pool, as seen in the photos, is small but nice, and in Hanoi's Old Quarter, you'll be glad to have even that. Directly opposite the hotel, there's a laundry service and a couple of travel agencies with very favorable currency exchange rates. One thing for travelers choosing the Old Quarter as their base to consider: from Friday evening and throughout the weekend, some central areas are either closed off or have restricted traffic, and (in our case) on Saturday, it can be difficult to get a taxi.
