I have just returned from a truly wonderful stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Langkawi, and it exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were immersed in luxury. The facilities are absolutely excellent—from the stunning pools to the beautifully appointed room, every detail was perfect. And the view! Waking up to that breathtaking vista of the Andaman Sea was really awesome and something we will never forget. What truly made our stay exceptional, however, was the staff. Every single team member we encountered was so helpful, friendly, and genuinely dedicated to ensuring we had a perfect experience. We would like to give a special mention to Asri at the Beach Grill. He is such a nice and wonderful person. We felt so comfortable and grateful to talk with him; his service went far beyond just taking our order. He shared so many funny stories and insights about Langkawi, its culture, and its beautiful nature. He has a fantastic sense of humour and a real passion for the island, which made our meals there not just delicious, but truly memorable. He is a real asset to the hotel. Thank you to Asri and the entire team for making our vacation so special. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and we are planning to return hotel soon.

The place is very excellent in terms of privacy, especially since it has number 8, but there is no landline to communicate with the hotel staff. You can only communicate on the phone number, but everything in the hotel from reception and service is private 👏🏻

I had a truly pleasant stay at The St. Regis Langkawi. The hospitality was exceptional, warm, genuine, and effortlessly professional. The breakfast spread was outstanding, with every dish thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. The facilities, from the serene infinity pool to the elegant interiors, reflected pure comfort and sophistication. A wonderful blend of luxury, tranquility, and impeccable service, an experience that stays with you.

Took me a while to decide on Four Seasons due to slight put off by the location as it was rather secluded on the other side of the island. (which also meant privacy and peace) But was pleasantly and amazingly surprised by them. Booking via Trip, I didn’t expect that the hotel will reach out to me directly to check about my trip and how they can facilitate my plans better. Having booked over Trip numerous times, this was a first. This is also not my rodeo with 5stars on Trip. I felt valued and felt the sincerity the hotel expressed on how much they welcomed my stay and looking forward to my arrival. I arrived early for check-in and the whole process was swift, personal and made me feel extremely welcomed. Before I even asked, the team checked on my flight details out of Langkawi, and arranged for my late check-out to match my flight out so that I can stay rested and enjoy the resort till my very last moments in Langkawi. It surprised me as it was extremely personal and showed how well the hotel treated each guest and placed their needs at their utmost priority. I honestly didn’t expect their thoughtfulness. A resort tour was then arranged on a buggy to show me around the area and to introduced to me the different restaurants and facilities. And then we were showed to our room. Room was dated and had visible signs of wear and tear but all in all was within expectations. Clean and spacious and had a giant tub which filled up rather quickly despite the sizes. Room was well lighted with generous amount of day light. Having shared with the team that I was celebrating my birthday, they arranged for cake and champagne in my room to welcome me. Their service was consistent and I also received great attitudes at their restaurant, Kelapa Grill which served great seafood. Thank you Four Seasons Langkawi for such a memorable stay. Your service have been impeccable. Thank you for your thoughtfulness and warm hospitality. I will most definitely be back.

Such great attitude from the moment you enter until check out. I loved this hotel and actually wish I had come back to spend the rest of my trip here, I am not much of a nature girl, but I needed to relax, so it was pleasant to stay somewhere where gekos can’t get into your room. The room was spacious and elegant, loved the Jo Malone products they smelled good. The bath and shower was clean and this a rare thing to find in Malaysia, I felt so comfortable staying here. The bed soft for a good nights rest after laying in the heat by the pool. I’ve read a lot of reviews complaining about the location, but it was perfect, away from the hustle and bustle of towns. Breakfast was delicious and I enjoyed the music played by the pianist. I also enjoyed the little treats brought pool side for us to enjoy. I read a lot of books and had a lazy time, all the staff was lovely and pleasant. The only downside is that the pool closes at 7 pm, the weather is still hot into the night and a night swim is perfect. The beach is good to swim and perfect sunset pics can be taken on the white sandy beach. It was a lovely stay, thank you for welcoming me as a solo traveler a safe and comfortable resting place.

Villas tend to offer larger spaces, ideal for family groups or friends travelling together. Outdoor spaces are also larger and more private. Hotel rooms tend to be more compact and may be suitable for single travellers or couples. My friend really love it...most important the kids enjoy the pool more 😘😘😘 Will come back

Absolutely stunning place! Clean, well decorated, great lay-out. In a great location with a short walk to restaurants, hotel behind the complex, beach, etc. We stayed in Villa #21. The villa includes a washing machine, dryer (need own washing powder), clothes rack, bath, kitchen with fridge/freezer, oven, stove, dishwasher, toaster, coffee machine, tea/coffee, etc. Check-in is located in a different hotel (5 mins by Grab taxis or 20 min walk). Requires a MYR300 deposit + MYR1 government fee. For checkout, someone will meet at an agreed time in the villa. We loved every minute of our time here. Only problem was that we didn’t stay long enough!! We will be back.

1. The hotel service has five-star quality. The staff are attentive and have natural smiles. They will come to the room terrace at six o'clock every day to help you light mosquito coils. There are welcome fruits.  2. The facilities are only of three-star quality. This hotel has been open for 12 years and the facilities are a bit outdated. Bath towels are rather old.  3. The food and environment are of five-star quality. The breakfast is rich and there is freshly squeezed juice for you to drink. There are tropical rainforests and incomparable sea viewsThere are natural mountain breezesand the environment is first-class.

The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable – almost too big for a family of three! The service and dining were great, and the spa was excellent too. It was also super convenient to get to the St. Regis next door. Everything was good. My only regret, which led me to deduct 0.5 points, was a small misunderstanding during check-out and a calculation error that made us spend several tens of minutes just to check out.
