The room is comfortable and warm, with a good view! I had a fever when I arrived at the hotel. I called the front desk and immediately helped find a doctor to come to the hotel for diagnosis. The service was warm and thoughtful!

The hotel is not in the center of Madrid, but the location is right, next to the luxury street, free upgrade, good room, no toothpaste and toothbrushes, extra bed, parking. There are very few Chinese in the hotel, so I haven't encountered it

The room is too small. The bathroom is OK, but the water heater doesn't work well. It's hot and cold at the same time.
Facilities: Not bad. Good location. Convenient to everywhere. The staff are very enthusiastic. Good and delicious breakfast

Pool was out of order, not usable,
Very disappointed.
Hot water system in the shower is sometimes very hot, and in 5 seconds turns cold.
Please make sure this is fixed before some guests are boiled.

Hotel location is very good, very close to Madrid's fashion shopping avenue serrano, service is OK, breakfast type is not much, if you want to try the Spanish breakfast can go out of the store, it is not recommended to book the hotel's breakfast. Overall, it seems to be very good. This time, the photo provided by Ctrip does not match the room. The hotel's room classification is very clear and can be seen on the hotel's own website, but Ctrip's technical department generally refers to the room type photos. The deluxe room is obviously irresponsible. In response to customer service, their reply was that the technical department did not make a mistake. Can only suggest that Ctrip can not visit the hotel in person before sending a room picture, please carefully browse the hotel's website, the picture of the room is carefully classified to be responsible for the performance of the consumer... I have lived this place before. The hotel, knowing the room type, made such a comment. I hope you can see this comment. The hotel is very good, but Ctrip's service is a bit disappointing...

Went to meet a friend at their cafe and was very impressed with the black and gold colour scheme throughout the lobby and the cafe area.
The cafe has a nice seating layout with very comfortable sofa’s and some decent arm chairs.
The service is also second to none & the coffee was really nice. It also was rather reasonably priced considering the location.
Would definitely recommend it if you’re in the area :)

The service was very good. Our luggage was lost when we arrived. After the Lost&Found was completed, it was about 10:40 pm. The front desk actively helped to book a restaurant in the nearby kitchen that was not closed. The bellman Persian brother Arian was also very warm to greet us and settle in to ensure our stay. The quality of the hotel restaurant enjoyed the next day is also the standard of the Lorechado series. The Filipino brother knows that we have to catch the evening flight to greet the kitchen to speed up the dinner production, and divide it into two in advance for convenient dining. Half a month of journey is perfect here to end, next time I go to Madrid will choose to live here.

This is my favorite hotel in Madrid, no one! ! So this time I stayed at this hotel for ten days. First of all, the hotel is classic, from every decoration of the hotel to the clothing of the service staff, every minute feels like a big movie! Besides, the breakfast at the hotel is one of my favorite buffets, and I can't get tired of eating for 10 days. There are miso soups and sushi for Asian tastes, as well as various hams and developed meats! Also, tell you in a secret way that you meet Mourinho in the breakfast restaurant. Don't ask me who I am. But I saw everyone talking quietly, no one bothered to sign or anything. PS, at the New Year, quietly decorated the room 😂

It is a European-style hotel, simple and elegant, quiet and comfortable, it is suitable for travelers who enjoy authentic European style. Western breakfast is very good (provided that you like western food), the outdoor part of the breakfast restaurant is not big but the original European style is very good, the big bed is a double bed, the big bed is no longer necessary for the children to have an extra bed. I did not charge for the child's accommodation at the time of check-in. The hotel does not have a parking lot. The only drawback is that it is a little far from the city center and the museum area. It takes about 10 Euros for a taxi. The hotel does not have a swimming pool!

The location is far from the city center but very close to the shopping street. The antique hotel is not big but the housekeeper can always be very welcoming. In Europe, there is usually no service, so this is rare. The disadvantage is that it is not soundproof and there is no swimming pool.

I really love this hotel. I welcome cakes and bear candy on the first day. It is delicious, and the quality of the toiletries is very good. The hotel has a free mobile internet, a deposit of 200 Euros, and a refund. The breakfast area is small but it is really pleasant. Lovely hotel, amazingly centrally situated, and so we were able to walk to all the things we needed to see and do. Breakfast excellent with a good choice of hot and cold food. Staff generally very kind and polite. Our one complaint was that the TV in the bedroom we had, kept losing or freezing the picture on the BBC world news channel, and a small icon kept appearing from LG, which after waiting a while restored the screen. We complained about this on the first morning we were there, and the reception noted it and siad an engineer would go and attend to it. This was not done and for the whole stay sadly we were frustrated by the TV which was really of no use to us what so ever. I have read other similar stories on Tripadvisor about the same complaint, and so clearly the hotel is aware of the problem but seemingly chooses not to do anything about it. This is a shame, beacuse something so easy, and expected would make a huge difference to one's enjoyment of the room. The location is very good, close to Puerta del Sol and Retiro Park. However, the cleaning staff had a bad attitude and often opened the door directly into the room. I stayed for three nights and only made the bed one night. One night when I returned to the hotel, I found that the door card for power supply had been pulled out. We were traveling through Madrid over our anniversary and had a lovely stay at the Barceló! The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Although the breakfast felt a little overpriced, it had a good selection of options (even some gluten free items!). We didn’t get a chance to get in the pool, but my husband loved the sauna. Overall the hotel is located in a very convenient area and was easily walkable to the metro along with many other shops and restaurants. It was my first time in Madrid. We travelled with my mom to celebrate her birthday and the choice couldn't be better. The location is super convenient just walking distance from the Royal Palace and many other touristic spots. The food at breakfast is varied and delicious, the smell of the hotel and the room (mint) is so delicious and the cherry on top is the super kind staff who are willing to help at anytime. The location of the hotel is just wonderful! It’s close to the train station. And it just takes 10-15 min by car to major tourist spots. We have booked 5 rooms for our families. The rooms are clean. But the bed room is relatively small as compared to the size of the bathrooms. The staff are generally friendly. However, there are times when we can’t get the support we need. The hotel's location is good, and the facilities are decent, but the soundproofing is extremely poor. You can clearly hear guests talking right outside your room door, the sound of water running from the room upstairs is very loud, and even conversations from pedestrians outside the window are perfectly audible. I specifically requested a room away from the elevator when booking, but the two rooms we were given, 135/136, were directly opposite the elevator. This was my second stay at this hostel and it's still amazing. One of the best hostels I have stayed at in Europe. It is well located - right off the Mayor Plaza. Close to bus routes and not too far from the subway.
The hostel staff are super friendly and always available - 24hr front desk. They are hapy to have a chat with you and make recommendations and give advice - or just sing along to whatever is playing from the bar. They weresuper gracious and helped to arrange my friends and I in the same room - even though we all had individual bookings.
The rooftop is excellent. We spent several siesta's up there; reading and chatting and having a drink. Just note that the rooftop bar is a public space and at times sections of it are booked for events. But otherwise the view of the rooftops and the church dome are worth it.
The rooms are spacious enough, as is the private bathroom. There are additional bathrooms on each floor - gendered. The bunk ladders are a little steep on the steps - my shorter friend struggled getting up to her bunk - we had to use the foot stool to assist. But the ability to have two people using the bathroom in the room at a time made for easy use - especially with only 6 people in our dorm.
The free margarita making each night from 9pm and the bar crawl are worth checking out. My friend also also did the walking tour - and said she found it super informative and. chill. Lots of food recommendations and the group all grabbed lunch together after the tour.FromKRW 23,674
