This is the best hotel in all Sri Lanka!!! Kitchen, service, privacy, location - all on the height! In the hotel only 30 rooms, people are not, even with full load, you are as if you are alone! Pleasant uncrowded beaches with a pleasant ocean. You can walk on the shore on duty. The hotel feeds on the menu, each dish is an art piece. Butler is doing whatever you wish. Take the hotel for breakfast and didn't regret, dinner paid themselves, they are more expensive than in restaurants on the street, but such a kitchen you won't find anywhere else! A chic wine card! Rooms are comfortable, we had a room with a pool. The day before leaving the hotel made us a bunch of gifts and we were very happy! We definitely will return to this hotel and not once!

I had a wonderful time. The staff welcomed me with a smile. The infinity pool visible from the lobby was breathtakingly beautiful. Although I only stayed one night, I had a very relaxing and enjoyable time. There was so much food, there was more variety than I could eat and it was all delicious. Next time I would like to try the spa.

The advantages of the hotel are a very good breakfast and dinner. Buffet. Very abundant. There are both seafood and local cuisine. Delicious. I would also like to note the traditional Marriott chain quality of bed. I slept great on it. The beach in this place is excellent. You can swim safely - the waves are not so strong. Everything is very picturesque if you go left and right. Now about the disadvantages. Unfortunately, there are more of them. The staff are very unpolite, you felt like you were not welcome here, they were doing you a favor. Fake smiles. On the day of check-out, a little after 12, for a few minutes the staff began knocking on the door and demanding to vacate the room. Is this worthy of such a hotel chain? When I tried to pay at the reception with a Union Pay card, the staff said that the terminal for Russian cards did not work. Although, in other places and hotels in Sri Lanka, everything worked without problems and it was possible to pay everywhere. I explain this behavior by lack of customer focus, which, again, is very strange for a hotel of such a chain as Marriott and for the service. I also want to note that this hotel did not have orthopedic pillows or any other pillows - when I tried to find out about this possibility, I was rudely told that there were no other pillows and that was all. In general, for the staff, service and their attitude - a big minus and a bad rating

Really enjoyed my stay at Hikka Tranz. I had full board and the food had plenty of options and was very good. Cocktails at the beach bar were affordable and really tasty. I would not recommend ordering food there though, it was expensive and not nice. The gym does not have air conditioning, but overall a great place to relax.

I would say just book it and forget about it. They will take care of everything. Cant see a better five star hotel than this. Also they celebrated my birthday as well. The cake was totally amazing!!

My trip to Sri Lanka staying at RIU Hotel was amazing. It was my first time booking an All-Inclusive package, and I wasn’t quite sure what to expect—but overall, the experience exceeded my expectations. There were a few areas that could be improved. The food, for instance, felt a bit low in quality, with limited options for a healthy diet. The gym was quite small, with limited equipment, and it would be great if the opening hours were extended to accommodate more guests throughout the day. That said, the service was exceptional. The staff were attentive and professional, always anticipating guests’ needs—especially in the buffet restaurants. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to try the à la carte restaurants as they were fully booked and very much in demand—something we weren’t aware of in advance. We’d definitely love to return once the monsoon season is over, as the weather wasn’t ideal during our stay. The beach, while beautiful, was unsafe for swimming at the time, which was a bit disappointing.
