The stay at Iforest Youth Hostel was wonderful and memorable. I talked with other guys there at the Study Room and came to know new things regarding China which I never knew before. The services from the reception was especially to be mentioned. Mr. TungTung was verg much helpful and helped me to find Halal Restaurants, Maszid and the Hotel while I lost my way to the Hotel. The East Nanjing Station of Shanghai Subway is very near to the Hostel. One thing I need to mention here that the name is published as One Forest Youth Hostel although the name I saw on the signboard as Iforest Youth Hostel and due to this I got some trouble finding the hostel on the first day at Shanghai. Hope to stay again here if I come to Shanghai, China again.

We stayed for 5 days and were impressed from the start when we were given an early check-in on the first day at no extra charge. The location is excellent and very convenient for traveling. The room was clean and comfortable, with an easily adjustable heater. Housekeeping was done daily, and the amenity kits were replenished every day. The staff provided excellent service and were very helpful. Highly recommended!

I’ve lived and traveled around China for 6 years and have been to Shanghai countless times trying many different types and levels of hotels. The Fairmont Peace Hotel is by the far the best I’ve ever experienced in Shanghai thus far. The service at check in was fantastic and friendly and so accommodating. The lady spoke perfect English which helped me a lot and went so far as to walk us to our room and explain some key points. All staff are wonderful and smiling and so willing to help. The room was clean and quiet and had all the modern finishings to make life easy while blended into a beautiful and traditional style. The Jazz Band is a must see and the small museum is lovely. The Phoenix Restaurant produced some delicious food. Overall I cannot stop singing the praises of this hotel. Also location is fantastic for tourists. Right on the Bund and close to subway stations and taxi pickup points if needed.

It is very near to the Bund and other attractions. Easy accessible. Close to East Nanjing Road metro station. Clean and no smell. The hotel is decent and comfortable. Toilet area is small. Excellent Service and Location My family of 5 had an exceptional experience at this hotel, thanks to the personalized service from Yeri. She provided a thorough explanation of the room details upon our arrival and was also very responsive to any additional requests via her WeChat. The housekeeping service was also outstanding. We always returned to our room to find everything impeccably arranged, and our clothes neatly folded—something that most hotels don’t offer. It really added to the comfort and care during our stay. The hotel was also very accommodating, accepting all my Taobao purchases without hesitation. While the location on Nanjing Pedestrian Street means cars can’t drop off directly at the hotel, the staff is stationed nearby to assist with luggage, which made things easier. This is a very good hotel. Except for the lobby which looks a bit messy, everything else is good. The hotel room is comfortable and the staff is very friendly. The only bad thing is that the hotel is centrally air-conditioned. The heater is on in winter, which makes me feel uncomfortable. Fortunately, the windows in the hotel room can be opened to let the cold wind blow in from the window. Other than that, everything is good. The hotel is close to the Bund and can walk to Nanjing Road and the Bund attractions. Quite hard to communicate with the receptionist and staff at the hotel, but some of them were really nice. Hotel room was small but clean, they change our towel every day. Breakfast is the same menu for almost everyday, but enough spread from rice, noodles, wonton, bread, coffee. Location very convenient, near east nanjing road metro station. Close to the bund.

The location it is perfect, pretty close to the bund …difficult to find something similar for that price that’s for sure The bedroom was clean and they let me book in even before the time that appears on CTrip, all the receptionist were awesome and I would repeat anytime I go to SH The hotel is kinda new, the bathroom was super clean and the WC had some cool calefactor which make it pretty comfy!! Also, the bonus is KFS with fresh Kongee (rice and chicken porridge) each morning, which is surprisingly good for me as celiac.

Cleanliness always perfect, 3 nights with no worry even my room at the end of 6th floor. Location is good if you travel by bus because it require to take a bus to reach metro but nearby had many local restaurants with 1 local groceries shop and 1 family mart. 4 washing machine and 4 dryer that enough to clean your cloths and it free with detergent included. The room details and designs is very nice I love it, I remembered their logo and make me in brand loyalty already. I feel no worry when staying at hanting hotel. Some room at the end of hallway will have small stair step that weired for me. I did not try breakfast but I look into it, it seem ok.
