The first room that we were given smelt of damp quite badly- probably because of the bathroom as the wood had rotted on the door frame. We called the reception who was very helpful and immediately gave us a different room. The service was very good and the staff was very helpful and polite indeed. The room itself is quite dated which is why the hotel is getting renovated; this was mentioned by the hotel staff when we checked in- didn't bother us too much as the renovation started at 9am daily. Location is very very good. Overall the price was very reasonable considering the location. It is also next to Funan shopping mall so it is very handy for buying things-there is a decent food court and supermarket. A 15 minute or so walk to Marina Sand Bay too! Look forward to seeing it when it is fully renovated!

Stayed in One of a Kind Studio facing the fire station. Can be a little noisy when the fire engine alarm is ringing. The wifi can be slow at times especially when streaming movies on devices. Water strength from the rain shower is not strong enough and hot water from the rain shower takes about 10mins to heat up. The biology bath amenities smelled great. Note: Do bring along your own toothbrush, toothpaste, in-room slippers and if you have a travel projector can be used to stream Netflix/HBOGo on the white wall (one of the photo shows the projector that I brought along). Bath towels, hand towels are available in the room. If you fancy ice-cold drinks, you can fill up the glass jar provided in the room with ice from the communal kitchen.

Reviewing their breakfast! Please try to book breakfast if you are staying here. It will be at 15 Stamford. Their variety is impressive and they have pretty signages too. And they also offer sparkling wine! And eggs benedict is included under their egg station. How cool are these! Must try include their smoked salmon eggs benedict, nasi lemak, bread station with different muffin daily, salad bar and of coz sparkling wine if you are an adult. Their tea comes in pretty teapots too!

We recently stayed at Pullman Hill St. for 2 nights after a little odyssey at Munich Airport because of the weather and didn't regret it. The hotel is modern and comfortable, extremely centrally located in the “old part” of Singapore. The roof terrace with the view of the Marina Bay and pool is just wow, the bed was super comfortable, I particularly liked the firmness of the pillows. The design is modern and takes up the railway theme everywhere in a great and skilful way, after all it's about the Pullman wagons 😀 The lobby welcomes you with old suitcases that have various stickers from old, formerly well-known hotels and the same Let's clarify the claim of the house, which obviously wants to see itself in a row with these houses. And it can be that way!!! The room was big enough and we didn't miss anything, a great, large safe that accommodates a laptop computer as well as everything else, a Nespresso coffee machine that served us well when we left at 4 a.m., a shower There's no need to be generous with good-smelling shampoo, shower gel and conditioner. What was also good for us was the provision of a comb packaged in organic quality, which unfortunately didn't make it into our luggage... On the morning of our departure we were provided with a delicious breakfast doggy pack - great! In short, we were very happy with the new Pullman Hill Street and can imagine staying there again if we end up in Singapore.

You need a passport, and know how to use their mobile app to self check in and unlock the room door. We are very satisfied with our 14 night stay at South Bridge road 36. The price is lower than most hotels of a similar standard and location offer. Hotel prices in Singapore are otherwise crazy high. It's also important to be mentally prepared for the fact that the studio is very small. But at the same time it is very functional, modern, clean, quiet and the kitchenette has everything needed. Big plus for free access to washing machine and dryer. The location is very central and within short walking distance to attractions and two different MRT stations. Self-checkin worked without any problems and we had a well-functioning contact with our digital concierge Ryan through Whats up who quickly and kindly answered the questions that arose during the stay. However, we do not recommend the restaurant Macpherson BBQ, which is located next door. The take away is really a hit or miss. Our last order consisted almost entirely of chicken bones and stingray with no substance except loads of bones. The staff at the restaurant was also unexpectedly rude and unfriendly, especially the younger female. We highly recommend booking Heritage collection on South Bridge rd 36 but avoid the restaurant next door.

Hubby decided to do a last min staycay hence we only booked this trip about 1 week prior. Choosed Fairmont as the price for the signature salon suite was same as their lead in rooms. Had a pretty enjoyable stay and was sad to leave. What we like Room at 56sqm was very spacious! Big king bed was comfortable Bathroom was spacious too. Water pressure is great! Toiletries have cheeky descriptions on them lol Separate, big wardrobe space Big sofa Location! Connected directly to city hall mrt via Raffles City. Which means you have easy access to all your meals too Managed to get check in at 1.30pm Chromecast What we didnt quite like No bathtub :( (we booked knowing this but was still sad) No marina bay view Pillow was too soft I felt that overall, Fairmont is on par with other nearby hotels like swissotel and pan pacific. So if i were to choose which to come back again, all things equal, i would look at the best deal!

Location is good, that's all. The hotel is very dirty and messy, full of things (boxes, shoese, laundry and so on) in the corridore and stair case. The room is dark and furnitures are old. The staircase which supposed to be the emergency exit is full of different things. Aircon is old and lack of maintenance, made a lot of noice. No separation between toilet and shower room, so the toilet canbe wet. The cups and glasses are washed on spot, so the lip mark stayed on the cups, So watch out when you have to use. The water provided is in a jar, which no idea where it comes from and how long it has been there. Suggest you buy your own water. The safety box is not fixed in the room, easily to be removed, did not feel really safe. The light was flickering and eventually died out. There was an unpleasant smell in the corridore and in the room.

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights, attracted primarily by the good price! The lady behind the check in desk was really kind and welcoming. We stayed on the top floor, where the double beds are situated above a small desk area like a bunk bed. While the space was quite small, it was everything we needed, complete with a safe and plenty of charging ports for int’l plugs and USBs. The bed was very comfy, and the curtain gave us good privacy. The lounge area was nice, with a simple kitchen area and plenty of books/games. The toilets on the top floor were very simple, not as nice as the toilet for the lower rooms but served it’s function just fine!! The showers were also fine, nothing special but they worked well. While not a massive issue, loud music could be heard slightly from the outside until around 3am, and with late arrival/leaving of guests, there was a fair amount of noise within the dorm itself on our second night. Overall I think this hostel is WELL worth the price. The location is excellent, a stones throw from Raffles Place and Clark Quay MRT stations. It doesn’t appear to be a very sociable hostel but it’s great for couples!!

Overall, I am very satisfied. A work of cultural heritage. I was pleasantly surprised the moment I stepped into the door. Details are the most ingenious. The details of this hotel are worth looking at again and again. Different from the standardized facilities of many luxury hotels, this is a warm ”apartment”. Yes, I prefer to call it an apartment because it feels like home. The building's exterior cleverly uses the slope to create a visual effect of ”alternation between the old and the new”. It is actually a completely independent new and old building. There is a feeling of a different world at the junction. The area of the suite is not large. Guests who pursue luxury may be disappointed. But after using it, it is well considered and thoughtful. It is just right. If you stay in the old part of the house, you can see the original old floor tiles. They have traces of use but are as new as ever. Facilities: 4.5 There are not enough sockets, but the rest are very good. Service: 5 People who are interested in history can ask the front desk, and the reception staff are very enthusiastic. Transportation: 5 Very convenient, a few steps away from Clarke Quay. PS: The bar downstairs will be a bit noisy. If you care, you can communicate the room orientation in advance. I was very tired at the time and was not affected.

The decoration is very old and has some smell. You need to let the smell go in every day; the hygiene is quite clean; the sound of the air conditioner is a window machine, and the sound is relatively loud: the quilt is a layer of cloth, and there is a separate thin blanket; the location is in a pedestrian street, taxi It’s not very convenient. Many drivers don’t know it. There are subways and buses nearby. In general, the traffic is convenient; there are shopping places such as bugis around; the service is good; breakfast is relatively simple, and there is a Yabo Center nearby that is good for eating; Sim Lim Square nearby It is said that the water is deep, so please be cautious when shopping; there are no dental appliances, there are fewer charging ports, and no water is provided.

This capsule hotel budget-wise is recommendable. The location is great and 5 minutes away from the metro station. I have taken the mixed capsule. I did not expect much because of the price but I stuttered with disappointment when I was there. I availed myself of a stay with free breakfast for 5 days and in these 5 days, never I had tried and seen any food. What I saw are leftovers kept uncleaned. I usually wake up at 5-6 am because I have a conference by 7 am. By that time, no food on the counter. The toilets were furthermore small and crowded. No social distancing or infection control practices. The spaces are cluttered, unkempt, and unmaintained. I have raised the issue to an Agoda representative who told me that I should have the breakfast inclusion. Still, the next day, no breakfast was there. I planned to talk to the reception but most of the time, staff are not present there.

Campbell Inn

Please read - IMPORTANT about Campbell Inn: My 3 tourist friends from overseas have encountered potential scamming of tourists at this Campbell Inn. They have lodged a police report and contact Singapore Tourism Board and CASE in regards to this case. Hope by doing so, it will prevent the owner of Campbell Inn from cheating other tourists and disgracing Singapore as a safe country again. My 3 friends were ignorant of the various Google negative reviews of Campbell Inn and booked two nights with the Inn. However it seems that they have been scammed. It was their first visit to Singapore and she emailed and they tried to call the Inn several times without getting a proper response from the Inn. They wanted to inform the Inn about the late timing that they would be reaching the Inn. However as the Inn was uncontactable for a proper response, the 3 tourists decided to check-in physically at the premises. The Inn was obviously unsafe as it was occupied by alot of migrant workers in the premises and look more like a illegal foreign worker dormitory. The 3 tourists were initially informed by the receptionist that their room were given to other workers and were even asked to stay together with the male workers in the same room. They realized that these workers were wearing scantily (only sarongs) in the room and some of them appears to be drunk. The 3 tourists refused and left the Inn immediately feeling the whole situation was not right and unsafe. However they were left stranded on the streets in the middle of the night. My friends credit card was deducted for the nights which they did not stay in the Inn. They believed that the Inn management have planned this scam in such a manner that they can easily cheat the tourists who did not know the actual ground situation of the Inn. Also suspect several of these workers may be overstayers without legal work permits as they seems to be staying there for a long time. The Inn is definitely not a safe place for tourists to stay in. The practice of this Inn not only causes distress to the overseas visitors but also shame us Singaporeans which our country projected a very safe reputation to visitors from all over the world. The matter has been reported to relevant Singapore authorities.

I stayed here in early December 2022 for a few nights. In general, this hostel is very conveniently located. It is only 4-minute walk from the Downtown Line MRT station. It is the same station that has the closest ATMs. The hostel requires you to pay your balance using cash. If you want to pay by card, there is an additional 3% charge and you'd have to walk to their sister hostel to use their card machine. The sister site is on another street but they claim it's just a 5-minute walk. Also, if you want to print anything or use a microwave, you'd have to walk across the street to the Chic Hostel to do so since this one doesn't have it. There is a fridge but no microwave. The good thing is that they do your laundry, within the same day if you tell them to, for $12. The dorms on the 4th floor did not have a lock on the door so it didn't feel secure from anyone else who may decide to wonder up there. They did have a key card for the individual lockers though. There's only one outlet by your bed so I'd recommend getting an adapter with multiple USB ports or something. The 4th and 3rd floors share a 2-stall shower and toilet combo which was a tight squeeze and a bit moldy, which probably cannot be helped with such humid climates. Only bodywash was available in the showers. Each toilet come with its own handheld bidet. I just wished that the restrooms had paper towels to dry your hands. I did like that each bed had its own TV with Netflix and headphones (even though I never used it). The A/C runs all night which is great. I also liked that eac bed has their owne privacy curtains as well as their own drying rack and clothes hangers.

In curtin Singapore Reading, very close to the new site of the school, 15 minutes by bus, and close to Jin Wentai, the hotel provides continental breakfast from Monday to Friday, although the variety is very limited, but the breakfast is enough for nutrition, especially the ham is delicious, the hotel apartment room is what I see Singapore Hotel is comparison Big, there is a kitchen where you can cook kitchen utensils and tableware. The washing machine with dryer is very convenient. There are also food courts nearby, but there is a pasta restaurant downstairs in the hotel that tastes very good, and it is also very close to west coast park It is very suitable for running. house keeping is done on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Arrive in Singapore late at night. I was at an age when it was difficult to stay at the airport, so I chose to lie down, but this was quite comfortable. A taxi from the airport costs $33 (including late night charges). The late-night reception was unmanned, but the self-check-in system worked well, and although it was a small space that looked like a closet, the women's 6-person room was so quiet that I thought no one was there, and the mattress and sheets were surprisingly good. It's high and I had a good night's sleep (although in the morning some people started unpacking their suitcases and there was nowhere to step) Showers and toilets are clean, but be aware that the floors can get wet. Also, perhaps because of the corona crisis, there is no breakfast service as mentioned in previous reviews.

Booked a room for my son for 2 nights. When he checked in, hotel says he’s booked for 2 different rooms for each night of his stay, which would mean he would transfer rooms. Who would do this? Anyway, hotel was able to fix it his and gave him one room for his 2 nights stay. Hotel said that trip booked him in 2 different rooms. All good in the end. Regarding Housekeeping, he put make up room when he left early for the day, when he got back, room was not made. Housekeeping came while he was in the room, luckily, I had a separate room for my husband and I so was able to transfer while they’re cleaning the room. He transferred because housekeeping said they won’t come back and clean room at a later time. This we found odd. They should’ve cleaned it earlier when guest was out, and if not, they should adjust and come back if guest is back at the room mid day. Lobby was beautiful. It opened up to a big open space, outdoor, with a grass patch. Super relaxing vibe. Concierge at ground floor was very helpful. From keeping our bags after checkout as our flight back was at night, and for helping us get a ride when we couldn’t access our grab app, and keeping stuff so we didn’t have to go back to our room when we decided to have a night cap after our event on sat night, and just being attentive to our needs while we were at the lobby. Good job!

The cube capsule was very good value for money, considering how expensive Singapore is. We had a double capsule in a large mixed dorm, however the capsules create fantastic privacy and it didn't feel like a shared space at all. The capsules were well maintained and neat and had everything we needed. Mirror, plug etc. Shared bathrooms were cleaned regularly and were great. Location is brilliant, right in Chinatown and very close to the MRT. I would definitely stay here again. Only criticism is that the capsules and bathrooms can get verrrrrrry hot. One night, my partner couldn't sleep all night as the AC just didn't seem to be effecting our capsule. We notified the staff about this the next day and they gave us a fan for our capsule. Which was fantastic. Not great if you need silence for sleeping. Overall, a pleasant stay.

The hotel facilities are fairly clean, the air conditioner has no noise, the bed is comfortable and not soft, there are free mineral water and oranges every day, there are not many samples for breakfast, but it is enough, eat in the morning and start the day. The room has a hair dryer, very nice. The front desk can help to call a taxi, there is a lift for the disabled, very practical. And it seems to be popular with expats on short assignments to Singapore and families who have patients being treated at MT E Orchard or many of the other medical facilities across Singapore. Nestled across from York hotel and one building next to Quincy this is a most unique property. I have stayed at both the others in the past but I prefer Oakwood by far with its balcony in every room and clean and modern style with kitchenette. But it’s the people that made all the difference. I would like to specially thank Hitesh for going out of his way and even while on holiday to accommodate our ever changing dates and need for rooms. A big thanks to Nass as well for always stepping up and being most accommodating. Thank you Dan, Denise, Kym, Jet and Shobina for all the help at reception, with the brilliant breakfast boxes and recommendations. The residents loved the Thursday night cocktail and snacks which were complimentary and the many hidden outdoor places in the building (including the roof top pool). A must stay in Singapore for those planning to stay for a week or longer. At the time we were there, we heard that the Ascott group had bought Oakwood Studios. As good as the Ascott brand are themselves, I do hope they allow Oakwood Studios to retain its unique style and personality.

Pretty basic stay with option to cook which I liked! Check in was rather messy but thankfully it wasn't busy when I did. Location can be a chore if you return late, long walk from mrt.

Check in staff was nice and friendly. Had some problem finding the entrance into hotel but the trainee at the concierge at drop-off/pick up point was helpful. Requested for corner room and they managed to provide us. Room was clean and spacious. Toilet seat has heating feature and bidet which is great. Nearby MRT and walking distance to many food places. Smart TV with Chromecast. 24/7 gym. Overall good experience and would consider coming back again.

The facilities are very good, it is a local villa area, very beautiful, the landlord is also very good, and provide a lot of help. The only thing that is not perfect is the 30 Singapore dollar sanitation fee, which is not cleaned. It is said that it will be cleaned only once in 7 days. We only live for three days. We do n’t have cleaning tools ourselves, which makes us unreasonable.

The local customer helped to order it. The swimming pool is 40 meters long, the room is clean, the kitchen is equipped with Chinese and Western kitchen utensils and rice cookers are also available. Clean, the cleaning towel will be changed every day. There are both Chinese and Western varieties for breakfast, and there will be some small changes every day. The coffee is delicious and fully meets the needs. The geographical position is superior, five minutes' walk from the Orchard Road shopping mall, each shopping mall will have a large food court underground. It is also very close to the Botanical Garden, and I often go for morning jogs. The distance from the hotel to the Botanical Garden is about 8 kilometers. All in all, this is the best serviced apartment I have ever stayed in. It is highly recommended and will choose next time.
