I was very pleased with the comfortable room. Although I could hear the tram running all night, I understood this was due to its central location. The breakfast was the best part! It also seemed to be a better deal if you booked with breakfast included. However, the service really let them down, and I've significantly deducted points for it. After checking out at 12 PM, I waited an incredibly long time for my valet car – it didn't arrive even after fifty minutes, nor by 1:30 PM. We couldn't get in touch with the valet attendant, and the nonchalant attitude of a blonde staff member was also very frustrating. We couldn't even pick up our ordered pizza on time. Due to these delays, we were late for our 1:30 PM lunch reservation and ended up arriving at 2 PM, missing one of our planned activities altogether. However, the place we had lunch had such excellent service and delicious food that we ended up leaving Chicago on a positive note.

I had booked a last minute trip to Chicago's Virgin Hotel to spend some time with my daughters. From the first minute we walked in the service was impeccable. This continued throughout our stay everytime we walked in or out of the hotel (many times). The location was perfect to shops, restaurants, Riverwalk, beautiful architecture, and many other visual attractions. The only downfall to our visit was it was Covid season and many restrictions to places we could go to watch the football game and/or eat as the restaurants were all closed in the hotel. That was a safety issue for the guests so it was appreciated they weren't open. The one thing I'd recommend is for them to have a list of what was open nearby and what was offered (dine-in, delivery, take out, etc.). We were able to find places on our own, but it would have saved us the time from searching/calling around. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel!!

The rooms are medium in size and located in the city center. The surrounding facilities are complete, there are shopping malls and a lot of restaurants. For downtown hotels, the price / performance ratio is very good! Hilton's Samsung Hotel, but this brand can meet the four-star standard in China. I personally like this brand and recommend it!

The hotel is in a good location but expensive. You can stay in a top five-star hotel in China for this price, but this is just an ordinary four-star hotel on the street. Trump Tower is across the street. It takes about 1 km to go to Millennium Park or the Art Museum of Chicago. The Chicago River is across the street, which is perfect for running and strolling. There is no restaurant of the hotel. The hotel breakfast is served in a bar and restaurant next to it. I didn't try it. It is convenient, but people outside eat together. It is not convenient to take a taxi, especially Uber. It is estimated that it will take a long time to go one way even if it is nearby.

The hotel is at a great location. It’s near to the marathon start & finish lines. Close to cinema & musical venues. Near to trains as well. Amenities is basic: no slippers, bathrobes or tea bags. We needed to borrow a kettle to boil hot water. Room was very expensive as we stayed during the marathon dates. Since we are running the marathon, we have no choice but to pay the high room charges.

The location is good, very close to the attractions, especially the riverwalker, which is really convenient. The subway, the blue line is a little bit away, the orange line is very close. But the hotel is really simple, especially the room given by Ctrip is very small, it is OK for one person, but for two people, I can only upgrade it on the spot for $20, but it is still very small. Everything costs money, an umbrella is $14, and there is no loan. The river and CQ are actually the same company, but CQ is cheaper. There is no breakfast, you can eat next door, but I recommend the EGG HARBER cafe on the other side of the river.

The hotel is in a prime location, next to the Michigan Bridge, next to the beautiful Londonhouse. It is a long and narrow building with a small facade. There are two hotels inside. The 20th to 40th floors are CQ, and the 20th floor and below are the river hotel. You can walk down to the river and take a boat. You can walk to Millennium Park and Navy Pier. The north-facing rooms face the Trump Tower and overlook the bridge on the Michigan River and the ships coming and going. The rooms are simple and suitable for tourists who are looking for cost-effectiveness. There is a self-service coffee machine on the second floor, where you can rest and watch TV. There are desks and chairs suitable for business guests. I didn't see many Asians during my stay.

There was a fee of 93$ plus insurance or something I don't know, another 100$. The employee said it would be refunded. 100$ given on check out day Asked for a receipt and was told to give a check-out date. On the check-out day, they said they would transfer 100$ to the card we used to swipe, which is SCB's planet card. It would take another month for the money to be credited to the card. Feeling worried about whether the money will really come in?

Loved my stay overall. There was a champagne offering upon arrival which was wonderful. After a long drive from Michigan, it was well received and completely set the tone for the type of stay we would be experiencing. View from Room 2754 breathtaking. A welcome fruit basket was provided for our 35th anniversary stay. Ample Trump water provided. Location - Best in the City. Housekeeping was Outstanding. Reception staff were perfection. The view in Room 2754 blew away my expectations and I will stay here again in the future. Job well done Trump Hotel staff! A few things that would improve the experience are: Provide 2 Barstools for the rooms with a kitchenette island. We had to eat on the low coffee table. Replace barn door with normal door on bathroom. Privacy factor low due to the crack opening. Provide Non-Stick cooking spray for guests who use the cookware. It was awful cleaning eggs from the skillet. Invest in a few Real Dishcloths for the kitchenette. A normal Keurig coffee maker would be better than just espresso. The location was Best in the City. I highly recommend staying here! Thank you. The hotel has a good location, just beside Michigan Avenue, and convenient to all major attractions in Chicago. The hotel environment is also very good. It is quiet and clean. The space is large enough. There is sufficient hot water supply, but there is no hot water to drink. We brought our own heat The most distinctive feature of the kettle for boiling water is the hotel’s robots, which can deliver water and daily necessities, which are available on demand, great! We did not have breakfast at the hotel, but there are many restaurants around, which are very convenient. The waiters in the hotel are very good and the service is very warm and thoughtful. Our trip felt very good, the price was affordable and the process was comfortable!

The view is very good, you can see the lake and the city on the lakeshore. You can also watch the sunrise when the weather is good. The furnishings in the room are not particularly high-end, but they are quite clean and suitable for traveling with family. (The only drawback is that the air conditioner is very noisy, but it won't be very cold when it is turned off.)

The hotel is located in a downtown area and is convenient for travel. The room is located on the sixth floor. The windows have poor sound insulation and the sound of car horns can be heard. Only half of the shower room in the room is separated by glass, and there is no door, so some water splashes onto the floor. The experience was not good and I will not stay at this hotel again.

We stayed for a night, upgraded to a lakefront room. Great location, great rooms. The only issue I had was the AC was not working that well. We didn’t even use the sheets or our blanket we got so hot. Also the bar is a little over expensive. Other then that great stay! I’d stay again but bring a fan and our own bottle next time :)

Watch for parking fees when booking this hotel. They charge approx $33.00 per night for parking. That was a surprise for us when we arrived at the hotel since the parking used to be free. We were staying there for 3 nights, so it would be an additional $100 expense. The manager was able to give us a promotional code, but you have to give your info to a 3rd party vendor to get that. On top of that, the parking lot was infested with huge rats. On Friday night, we had to park farther from the hotel entrance because the parking was pretty full, and the rats were running around the parking, near the dumpster. My family and other guests were scared to walk to the entrance because of that, and there was no other way to avoid walking by the bunch of rats . It was a really bad experience. The room was clean and spacious.

Check in at 12 o'clock at noon to do pre check in, the result until nearly 5pm to get a good check-in, this makes me very puzzled, even if some of the host guests dragged a late check-out, it will not let people in a hall There is no room, the hotel did not give a reasonable explanation, just said that the room is not ready. Another point is that the checkout time of this hotel is very strict, check out before 11am, there will be late check out fee, about 150rmb.

The hotel was very clean & the bed was super comfy! Check in was easy & they let us check in early which was very helpful. The door man at the bottom of the elevator seemed a little judge mental. We just wanted to go to the bar after attending the baseball game but he treated us like we weren't guests of the hotel, that was a little off putting but the bartender was wonderful!

Overall we had a great stay at the hotel. The location, although it appears on google maps to be a little outside of the city centre, is actually very convenient. There are several bus lines that will get you to the city centre (which for me, means the DuSable bridge) in less than 10 minutes. A couple of things to note. To access the free WiFi you need to have a Bonvoy account (free to create) Regarding the breakfast, Trip.com seems to display inverted information. It was available Monday to Friday in the 1600 Club (lower floor of the hotel) but IS NOT available on a weekend.

The hotel is close to the city center, it is very convenient to get in and out, there are many famous restaurants around, the hotel environment is pretty good, but the room price is too small, it feels oppressive, the sound insulation is poor, and you can clearly hear the sound of the corridor and the police cars passing by on the road outside Sound, I guess I won't stay next time, I still prefer hotels near the lake. High factor of safety.

The rooms are super clean, and the location is right by everything, from bars, restaurants, the river walk. Also, the hotel staff was phenomenal. We need help with a friend and they assisted us without any complaints, and told us to reach out if we needed anything else.
