The location is a bit off to the side so the price is very reasonable! 900YEN for a taxi ride from Kawaguchiko Station. or you can wait for the Fujisan Retro bus (B blue Line) Stop 67 which will stop at the shopping center Bell next door. But the location is great for me, it is directly opposite Hard Off (I spent 3 hours shopping in there and got many great deals) and next to Kawaguchiko Shopping Center BELL! Earthquake Simulation Center and Fujisan World Heritage Center are just right next doors. The hotel building has two views; one is mountain/lake view I think. However, I got the other view, the FUJI view; an amazing price for a great view! Breakfast is small and basic, catering more towards traditional Japanese breakfast which is just what you need. The drink and coffee machines are amazing good. The soup dispenser is quite unique and very delicious. Welcome Bar is a must! A great way to relax and wind down at the end of each day. Onsen is indoors on the ground/first floor with no windows but quite relaxing. It is next to the laundry room. I used it while I was waiting for the laundry to be done. The laundry here (on Jan 2023) was super cheap, only 200YEN per wash and the dryer is FREE! You can save a lot. The dryer and the washing machine are separate machines which I like them better than the all-in-one washing&drying machine. We will definitely stay again when we come back to Fuji.

The hotel is directly to Fuji Q Highland, you can easily drive here for an hour or two from Tokyo. The hotel offer free of charges parking. Or you can take the train to Kawaguchiko station then take Resort Express. Hotel can offer special price park ticket and also free public onsen. The room was so splendid. We have booked the room with Fuji view. We can enjoy the marvelous mountain view in every corner of the hotel. Really recommended for those who are coming to enjoy the amusement park and need the stunning Fuji view.

Loved my stay here! Very beautiful surroundings, lovely room and staff, and convenient location for visiting Mt Fuji and surrounding areas. Bself has a kind of lodge-like feel to it, or at least the main building does. I stayed in a “superior double” room, on the second floor in a build which was detached from the main building. If you’re gonna stay here, my recommendation would be to get a room with your own private onsen. I’m aware that there’s a communal onsen for all guests (which I never checked out), but it’s so amazingly nice to have your own onsen on your own private balcony! What I loved was that it was a traditional-style (yet new) Japanese ALL-WOODEN bathtub. And the view was very serene, overlooking trees and the night sky. This private onsen would be my reason for visiting. Honestly, it was that nice to just sit in that wooden tub staring at the night sky and nearby trees. I thought that bedroom was tastefully done and spread out nicely. Rather large for a Japanese room, as it also came with a nicely-sized wooden dining table that would spaciously sit two, and if one had a few more chairs could squeeze in four or even five total. There are two showers, one indoors in the bathroom and another outdoors next to the bathtub. I much preferred the outdoors one! When one goes into the main building, there’s an open coffee and tea area with a piano and ping-pong table! I didn’t play either, but they both seemed open for guests. I also got to meet and speak with the manager and staff who were all friendly and courteous. Really wonderful place to stay!

Very good experience, good room, refrigerator, microwave oven, walk at the foot of Mount Fuji is also very comfortable If you are not in a hurry and like to hike, it is recommended to be recommended or self-driving. The location is a bit biased. There is no public transportation. There are very few taxis. You have to walk 1.8 kilometers to the station. You can pass this one if you mind.

Convenient transportation, parking lot is big enough, but the place to checkin is on the Hunan shore of the estuary. The hotel is on the north bank of the estuary lake. It is a little inconvenient, and you should pay attention to it. The checkin time is until 8 o'clock in the evening. The house is a bit musty. The room is large. The price is not too expensive by the estuary lake. There are four bicycles for free use, and Mount Fuji and fireworks can be seen in the room, but the equipment is not clean (with more dust), the next day the heating failure, and snow, but because no one can contact before 9 am, a little not so convenient.

The place was not very easy to find, but after asking the locals through the translation software, I quickly found the location, which is a homestay. The boss and the boss are very good. The boss is a photographer and took a lot of beautiful photos of Mount Fuji. The room was large, clean and the breakfast was very good. Close to Kawaguchiko, you can get up in the morning to enjoy Mount Fuji.

The location of this hotel is very good. From Kawaguchiko Station, turn left and walk for about 20 minutes. It is about 15 minutes walk from Kawaguchiko Bridge. In the morning, you can see Fuji and Akafuji, and you will be at the best spot by the bridge. . There are a lot of supermarkets near the hotel. However, the facilities of the hotel are relatively general, the bathroom and toilet are shared, but the price of the hotel is relatively cheap, if you are picky about the facilities, please consider carefully.

A very recommended hotel with great value for money. You can see Mount Fuji from the hotel on a clear day. The road in front of the hotel is facing Mount Fuji. When you go out of the hotel, turn right and walk to the intersection. You will find Lake Kawaguchi Shopping Center with daily necessities, medicines, supermarkets, noodle restaurants, etc. It's all inside. The hotel has a coffee machine and a microwave, which is very convenient. It's a 15-20 minute walk from Kawaguchiko Station. It's very easy if you don't have luggage. If you have large luggage, it's recommended to leave it at the station for 1,000 yen per day. There is a three-day tour line at the station, and you can buy a travel pass. The ticket price is 1,700 yen and is valid for two days.

My wife and stayed here for two nights in twin room 1, overlooking Mount Fuji. We arrived on the 23/10/2019 and left on the 25/10/2019. For the price and location, this is a great place to stay at. It is about 7 minute walk from the bus station. It is close to restaurants and a short walk to the 20km Lake. The bed was comfortable but the pillows are way to soft which can cause a bit of neck strain. The facilities are clean and the shared toilets were near our room which made it convenient. There are two toilets on the second flloor (one is a urinal) and two toilets down stairs. There are also two shared showers. This was never an issue for us as there was only about 10 guests staying here. This place can hold up to 20 or so guests which may cause a line to use the shower and toilets. We had a clear view of Mount Fuji from our balcony, it was a sunny day when we arrived. I do recommend you check out the terrace as the view is awesone on a clear day. The kitchen has cooking facilities, microwave and a big fridge. The main sitting area is near reception. They have free bike hire which is really good, considering some places in town will charge a 1000 yen. It was raining heavily on the day we were leaving and the Manager offered to drive us to the bus station which was very nice of him. He also allowed us to check in early when we arrived and was extremely helpful in providing useful information on things to do. Customer service was amazing and I would have rated my stay as excellent if the pillows were more comfortable. Very good is still a good score.

This time I went to travel alone, but this homestay is very good. The cabin has two floors and all are cleaned! The toilet is separated from the bathroom, and there is a sofa and an open kitchen in the lobby on the first floor! The second floor is a bedroom. 2 single beds are added to the tatami outside the room. 4-5 people can sleep! The homestay is run by an old couple. The old lady is very warm and entertaining. In the face of foreign guests, she will take her mobile phone to explain to you. If you don't plan to stay in Asakawa or Kawaguchiko hot spring hotel, it is recommended to try this one! I hope the old couple will be healthy and see you next time! The only fly in the ointment is that Google map navigation is wrong, and remember to go around from a intersection behind to the last part, otherwise you can't find the way

The experience in this hotel is perfect!! The rooms are exactly the same with the official photos. We are so surprised when we get into the room. The house owners are very nice. They provided detailed restaurants and shops information about the district by sending us email. Free of charge bike renting service is also supplied. It is a house of average Japanese family. There are two toilets and one bath room with bath tube. There are three super king size beds in total. Each can fits in two to three people or more. There is also an Tatami room for more bed spaces or luggages.

I was shocked when I opened Ctrip. The order from a year ago has not been evaluated yet😂 Overall it feels great! The rooms are clean and comfortable. Each floor looks like a public bathroom and toilet. The restaurant is fully equipped and spacious. The location of the hotel is a bit far away from the station, but there is no problem with pick-up (but you need to pay attention to the time limit). The owner and his wife and shop assistants are very enthusiastic! The clerk takes a small book to learn the languages of various countries. Hello, goodbye is so cute. In addition, it seems that only Japanese is spoken here. The boss of the checkin gave me a few pieces of paper and explained it in detail for a while, including the room interior map, surrounding map, tour bus route timetable, Mobike rental car point and so on. Personally, I feel that it is enough for a person to play for two days around Kawaguchi Lake. The leisurely days of going to bed early, waking up, and relaxing are suitable for me, such as Buddhist youths. After the checkout on the last day, the boss and his wife escorted me to the station together. It was rare that it was sunny that day. I parked on the roadside and took a picture of Mount Fuji under a clear sky.

We did not enjoyed our three nights stayed at this place. Pros: Location is near the station about 7min walk 7/11 near by Clean showers Tea and coffee Cons: - check out is at 10am, we have travelled a lot and this is the earliest check out ever. We check out at 10:10am and the staff were already hurting us up to leave the property rudely by clapping his hands. -Very thin wall, you can hear everything - the rooms has a lot condensation when turning on the AC to heat up. -Rooms are very small -Super freezing in the common areas as there is not heating - bed mattress are super uncomfortable and thin and - Ah check in staff leave the lining outside for you to do your own bed, after a long journey last thing I want to do is my own bed. Cmon! -a bit expensive for what you get. - sofa bed is very uncomfortable maybe for a child but not for an adult Search Agoda and you will find better rooms for another $10 dollars on top

A lovely countryside style accommodation in the middle of rice fields is this 20 year plus family run business. Even made lovelier by the people who run the place- Miki was very hospitable and her attention to details of the needs of her clients was amazing. The villa where we stayed at had a large balcony with superb view of Mt. Fuji. The bathroom also has the view. I wish I can stay longer. I will definitely stay here if I am in this area again. Came by during the coldest winter in Japan for years and was at first worried about the snow storm as our cars are not fitted with snow tires, so I decided to call up the hotel. On hand to assist is a very nice and kind lady by the name of Zora who tried to go all out to assist and though we asked if we can cancel the stay with no cancellation fees, she mentioned it was tough due to regulations from the booking website. Nevertheless she took efforts to keep me posted of the conditions in Kawaguchiko prior to our arrival and we finally made our trip there. The hotel is clean and new as it opened almost 2.5 years ago hence was dealt with the Covid pandemic and it was not easy for them to survive. The hotel has several Mandarin speaking staff and check in is only after 3 pm hence when we arrived the counter was empty and waited for a while for a Mandarin speaking Japanese to come over to assist, very helpful with suggestions but again they didn’t allow us to amend our stay due to the upcoming snow storm. In the end we decided to forfeit our 2nd night stay due to the fact we do not have snow tire and this is where I felt the hotel can be a bit more flexible by offering a discount. The rooms we were given is huge and spacious , as mentioned by Zora with a good view of Mount Fuji, however the view changes just the next day hence we are lucky to have a wonderful view of Mount Fuji from the room . Overall the stay was very good as staff are very helpful, multi lingual staff with one of the guy from Taiwan being able to speak Mandarin , English , Cantonese , Korean and of course Japanese. Breakfast is simple but very adequate .

The new house does not need too much description, my family is very satisfied. Provide services until you disappear from her sight. Since it was my first time to visit Mt. Fuji, I was worried about the cost-effectiveness. Although I regretted it when I first saw it on the roadside, after entering the room until the clerk came out and bowed to say goodbye, I felt lucky for my choice😁 The first worry (leaving the station It’s a bit far and inconvenient to go to scenic spots) It’s not necessary at all. The surrounding facilities are quite complete. There are commercial complexes and buses (green buses) leading to Lake Kawaguchi. Even if you just take a taxi, it won’t cost too much (you go out to relax and unwind). Don’t be too careful with your budget. Besides, the light is at its best around 9 a.m. Don’t delay on the road.) It is recommended to stay for three nights. I happened to encounter the beautiful scenery like the picture below on the second day. I hope you have better luck than me.

The facilities are clean and the customer service is wonderful. The rooms are clean, and there is Wifi and USB port facilities for charging (Western room). The buffet-style meals are rich in variety such as local dishes and delicious. Very satisfied hotel depending on the choice of room. Strategy: Mt. Fuji, which you want from the large communal bath, is blocked by pillars, cherry trees, and it is a pity that you need to stand up from the open-air bath, and you can only see the indoor bath from a limited place while taking a bathtub. Therefore, you need to choose a room on the Mt. Fuji side to enjoy the view of Mt. Fuji from the hotel facilities. Hope: It would be even nice if there were Yoshida's udon noodles, seasonal local vegetables, fruits, and local products (milk, cheese, etc.). If you have already used it, the presentation will increase satisfaction as a traveler. I have tea and tea in the room, but I want coffee.

This was our best-ever ryokan experience, after 8 years in Japan! We stayed in the Shikibu Suite, the 2nd-largest of 11 rooms, for 2 nights. Our 200sqm suite had an enclosed garden, a private deck with onsen pool, and a separate bedroom, living, and dining/tatami room, all for our family of 4. Although the Presidential Suite looks wonderful in photos, I feel the Shikibu Suite was the more authentic Japanese experience--it had the Old World charm of a Japanese house, all in luxurious, hand-carved wood. The ryokan outdid itself with meals--Kaiseki for dinner, and a choice of West or Japanese breakfast. Kudos to the Chef and our hostess, Akiko san. The service was superb--Sato san met our car upon arrival in the rain, giving everyone an umbrella, even the kids. Our shoes and luggage wiped in the foyer, we entered our beautiful suite, followed closely behind by the lady Sato san, with out afternoon tea. Sato san deserves unreserved praise--he produced in only 2 hours, a beautiful cake at my wife's secret request for our anniversary dinner, plus an unexpected flower bouquet, which was a real surprise for her. Thank you to all the staff at Osenji Yumedono Ryokan--we would love to come back again someday.

We loved our stay here. The staff at frontdesk is so nice and so helpful: whatever you need during your stay, they will arrange (car rental, Japanese seats for room, good restaurant-advice). The room is supplied with very nice thick duvets, Japanese-style tatami and futons, and you will find a fridge and kettle too. The shower is really nice, with good pressure and nice ‘n warm. Room is warm and comfortable. Located opposite the station, this place is surely recommended!

We loved this hotel! A small hotel of only 8 rooms positioned right by the lakeside of Kawaguchiko - ideally located for walks and enjoying the views across to Fuji. It is immaculately kept, has very good size rooms (could see Fuji from the window) and lovely, friendly staff. Reiko, who welcomed us when we checked in, spotted us on a road when she was in her car the following day, and took us on an impromptu guided tour to a waterfall and shrine. This was one of the highlights of our trip and was so kind of her to do on her day off, and encapsulated the willingness of the hotel to ensure our stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The adjoining FamilyMart is also ideal for purchasing anything you need during your stay. Would happily return and stay for longer!

Cottage Tozawa Center is located marvelously right opposite Mount Fuji. Cottage Tozawa Center is somewhere in between Kawaguchiko town center and Oishi town centre. Best location because we could see all the fireworks in the living room. The unit E1 has the best view, I think. One can sit in the living room or bedroom or balcony comfortably to admire Mount Fuji. It would be more convenient for tourists who drive. No meals provided. Have to prepare futon by yourself. May rent a place for camping, which would be quite a unique experience during both winter and summer. It's a hidden gem because it is lesser known among international tourists.

Firstly, I really liked the location. Kawaguchiko is beautiful and this side of the lake is less built up than the other side (and there is a nice park in front). It's walking distance from the station but about 20 minutes but not recommended with luggage. But not to worry, there is a regular (and cheap) 'loop bus' that departs regularly from the Station and stops right in front of the hotel. Also, the hotel offers a free shuttle bus to the Station from 8am - 10am. The check-in for this hotel is 3pm. Bearing in mind most check-outs in Tokyo are mid-morning, it meant we arrived in Kawaguchiko at midday and had three hours before we could check in to our room. Not very convenient. The hotel do offer a free pick-up from the Station but only after 3pm. Our room was good. It comprised of two single beds and a separate tatami room. We had a great view of Mt Fuji. I'd wake each morning and open the curtains and have a perfect view of if from my bed. If we were on the other side of the building, we'd have had a view of the lake instead. The bathroom was a little basic and the shower took a while to warm up, but aside from that it was an enjoyable room to stay in. The hotel had a free onsen and free robes/slippers for guests to use. I'd never used an onsen before and really enjoyed it - think of a really, hot steamy bath! The hotel also has bike hire available (1500 yen for the day). Visiting Mt Fuji was one of the highlights of my trip. Kawaguchiko was a really good base with plenty to do. I'd highly recommend visiting Chureito Pagoda and cycling around the lake was a really nice way to spend the day. I also thought the staff were extremely friendly.

Features The previous comments are basically mentioned, the kitchen is large and the public area is large, but it takes a lot of time to cook for a long time. Toilets and wash basins, showers are on the corridor, are public, or some inconvenience. The highlight is that there is a medium-sized supermarket within a ten-minute walk. The supermarket is not a convenience store, and the price is definitely cheaper than a convenience store. Buying back ingredients in a large kitchen is also an alternative enjoyment on the road. The most unusual thing is that the registration here is very strict. Every passport must be photographed, and a form should be filled in, which should indicate where to go from. This trip to Japan only met once.
