The room was a nice size however our room assignment was on the ground floor facing the busy road, with a lot of noise from the road and passers by, as well as incessant beeping from a street crossing directly outside the window. There is also a primary school across the street, and so a lot of noise from school children throughout the day. I think our stay would have been much more enjoyable & relaxing had we been assigned a room on the top floor or towards the back of the building, or if we did not spend any time in our room during the day. The kitchen and facilities were well equipped but could have used more supplies (tea, sugar, cream, toilet paper, shampoos etc.) since these ran out after the first day or two. There were no staff on site however customer service was responsive by phone/email and very helpful.

I was given the key to someone elses room, so walked into a room full of belongings and then the next day my key lost it's programming, so had to go back to reception yet again.
Rooms aren't very sound proofed, so there was a few nights where I had people non stop walking through the corridors at gone midnight shouting and singing where likely drunk from the bar. Overall okay stay for the money though, bottles of water and a few biscuits were provided too which was a lovely touch.
Bar prices very reasonable too

The room is slightly more spacious than the holiday inn that has been living before, and the breakfast is similar.
Disadvantages: I didn’t find our message for a long time when I checked in. I waited for a long time. I was also communicating with Trip.com . I finally gave a room card. I went in and saw that the room had not been cleaned. So I went to the front desk to change a room. I also confirmed with her that I was staying for four days. Who knows that the room card will be invalid the next day, and I will go to the front desk to communicate. I don't know if there is any problem with management.
Secondly, the window of the room is dead, can not be ventilated, health is not cleaned, can you imagine that I have not cleaned for four days, I listed the sign every day, and went to the front desk and told them that I needed to clean the room. The attitude was very good. I recorded the room number, but I didn’t clean it. This is a bit unacceptable.

The room was relatively small but clean. The bathroom was also small though clean. Dont expect 4/5 star hotel service though.
Overall hotel had a positive vibe to it. Location was also good. A three minute walk and you are at Stratford bus station and another three will get you to the shopping mall.
All in all, good for two pax and probably two nights.

There are many fast food restaurants close by. Waitrose is just right opposite, perfect for a late night supermarket shopping. Natural history museum, V&A are a few minutes walk away. Room is huge for London standard. Do note that hotel only provide 1 time free bottled water on the day of check in.

The big bed plus a sofa bed, the sofa bed is generally comfortable, but the sofa bed is very wide, and it can be opened as a double bed.
The front desk service is very good, and they will greet you when you enter and leave. The restaurant service is also very good. The freshly squeezed orange juice for breakfast is good, and it costs 4 pounds per cup in the Oxford restaurant.
The room is cleaned every day, and supplies for multiple people are provided. It is highly recommended.
It takes 15 minutes to walk back to the hotel from the London Eye, passing by the British characteristics on the street.

My mum’s room was terrible, smelt like damp wet carpet, it was tiny, dark and had no airflow. The bathroom was oddly located outside of the room through another door.
My room was opposite a large storage space and next to the breakfast room. The noise from guests in neighbouring rooms, breakfast room in the morning, staff going in and out of store room and the constant sound from underground train every few minutes was quite unbearable.
Even though I booked the same room type my room was much larger and better configured than the one my mum got.
The place was a maze, the room numbering made no sense and we were forever getting lost.
Staff were polite but definitely not service professionals and it was obvious that none of them wanted to be there.
The only plus was location location location!!

We actually decided to walk back rather than join the crowded public transport, but it was quite a long walk, I’d recommend walking a short way out of the crowds then back on the 92.
The room was nice & bed very comfortable. We slept well. Breakfast was nice with a mix of continental & English breakfast items.
I’d definitely stay again.

Breakfast is the same every day , the usual , but its always crowded and noisy .. not spacious.. the varieties are not much but the food is generally ok. MY room was cosy , carpets can be cleaner it was just below a level along the corridor and sound proofing is not fantastic , you can hear people talking and walking. The lifts are very slow in the morning , its better to just walk down ... that's my biggest complain.
the best thing is the location, there are many supermarket convenience store , sainbury in a short walk ,so easy to buy food stuff.. its not in the middle of kensington but its near kensington high street station.

The friendly offer of a glass of Prosecco on arrival was a lovely touch! I would definitely recommend the hotel and return to it again.
The only issue we had was that we booked a family room through a third party (Trip.com) while looking for somewhere for 2 adults and 1 u18 to stay for the weekend.
Trip offered a bigger ”Family room”, with a view of 2 beds side by side, one being a sofa bed/large rollaway.
This was not the room available on arrival. We had a large double bed only. They kindly brought a single rollaway in to accommodate us. However, it was a smaller room, and they had no larger available.
They were as surprised as us as Trip.com did not forward a ”Family” booking, even though I listed the 2 adults and the age of the child.

It was just downhill from there because honestly, we made the reservation just for that sole purpose. I wouldn’t call my stay enjoyable really, not because of the services or anything, it was just the disappointment we felt when everything we planned out became null. Probably wouldn’t go there again but it’s a nice hotel in a good location regardless

The view outside the window was as purified below and there was construction going on. I struggle to lock the window almost couldn’t which was about 2 m off the ground.
The reception staff were either too busy or just rude. The tea coffee was placed in the cabinet and the pull-out bed fell about 15 cm from the cabinet so it was understandable for me to not be able to find the tea coffee. However when I rang downstairs, they were very helpful And while I walked away to check in case I had missed it they hung up on me. When I called back nobody answered. I just found the Service route on that day that evening. Another group of staff came on mostly mail and they were great friendly and very helpful. I would not book these rooms again. The hotel is great and in a great place but the rooms are not worth the charges.
