A surprise hotel… taught it aging based on exterior… to my surprise the interior had been refurbished and brand new!! Furniture brand new and super clean. Spacious room too. I opted for Riverside Majestic Astana Wing as my quarantine stay. From the moment I was picked up to the stay itself, the service has been great. I am currently still staying in my Deluxe King room on the 15th floor (the bed is super comfortable!). By all account, select the river view room. Each even the sky turns into a magical hue of oranges, the most beautiful sunset. A stay would not be great if not for the service. I would like to call out Amos Chong who checked me in upon arrival. His customer service is personable and with lots of attention to detail. He has the ability to make you feel like as if you're a returning VIP even if its just your first stay. Kudos also goes out to Ivy from the restaurant. Each morning she greets with such delight and would address me by name. She's definitely a ray of sunshine. I cant wait to meet her once I get out of quarantine. I definitely would be back and would recommend friends to stay here. For the two excellent staff, Amos and Ivy, I hope you get recognize for the 5 star hospitality you show.

I like this environment. Provide lift also, so easily for us to go to our room. There’s a fitness room. Iron also provided (out of our room). The room also big not as my expectation 😍😍. FEEDBACK REVIEW ROOM HOTEL OYO 910 HILLS RESIDENCE 19-21 Aug 2023. Prefer 0/5 STAR. WORST STAYCATION EVER!! This is my first time get the worst room ever! Its a nightmare. I will never forget that my Anniversary & Birthday trip got this horrible room. Property : No lift at all need to climb up level 3-5 and the hotel look like scary creepy dark haunted building. Like prison and horrible place to stay. Room : Too small and smelly like sh*t! The room is too smelly, i need to use my perfume to make it better and also smell of cockroach. Unable to sleep at night bcs of the smell. HATE IT! There is not enough light, im staying in the dark. There is table lamp that no bulb. Also no drinking water provided. Bathroom : The shower really slow even already open to the max. The shower temperature has no specific temp it's just extremely hot and super cold. Sometimes no water. There is soap dispenser but no soap at all. Luckily i bring my travel toiletries. No towel provided. Cleanliness : DIRTY and STINK! i believe they never change the bedsheet or towel because its itchy. i also believe they didn’t have housekeeping. Because they never clean our room for the next day. Even we already empty the room. Service : BAD SERVICE EVER! No reception during the time, we request to check-out and change room. They mention the room was full, we request for the refund since we not satisfied with the room condition at least we can go to different hotel with better condition. Even half price they ignore. Location : Strategic location because near to tourist attraction. But the location of the hotel also not so good because of the dark alley. Booked thru SNAP AirAsia. I never disappointed with SNAP AirAsia, before this i booked many times. The room was nice and comfy. Able to sleep and rest. The room was almost likely with the posted and shown. Even there is cheap price like this but they manage to keep the room in good condition. This time i hope you could check back the property yourself either you should accept new booking for this property or not. Because its not only me, more than 20 people mention that the property was extremely horrible. Not recommended at all to our tourist to stay. They have travel far (same goes to me). Check-in to have a relax and clean room. The most important is CLEAN!! I’m unable to sleep well because of the smell effect my schedule because im too tired. Im even empty my room for the next day, maybe i get to change a room, a refund to change a hotel, if not at least CLEAN the room. Hope for the best. I hope no one get fool from their advertisement.

My recent stay at the Hilton Hotel Kuching was marked by its exceptional location and some notable features. Firstly, the hotel's strategic location near the waterfront and within walking distance of various attractions, including eateries, souvenir shops, and the famous ”kek lapis Sarawak” outlets, greatly enhanced my stay. This convenience was a definite plus. Upon my arrival at 4:00 pm, I encountered a small setback as the hotel was fully booked, and no rooms were available for check-in. However, the courteous staff at the reception counter promptly addressed the issue. They kindly requested a short wait while a room was prepared for me, and I was offered a welcoming drink at the lobby bar during this time. The lobby itself exuded a pleasant ambiance with ample lighting. I finally checked in at around 5.30 pm. The room I eventually occupied was delightful, offering cleanliness and orderliness. It appeared to have been recently renovated, as there was a faint smell of paint. A suggestion for the hotel could be to introduce pleasant room fragrances to alleviate this issue. The room featured a picturesque view of the Sarawak River, enhancing my experience. The bathroom was also clean and satisfactory. The breakfast options at the hotel were extensive, though I noticed a repetition in the menu during my 4-day stay. On the final day of my stay, I opted to have breakfast at a nearby kopitiam due to this repetition. I hope the hotel can introduce more variety into their breakfast selections. However, there were a few downsides to my stay. The hotel was undergoing renovations, resulting in limited room availability. Additionally, the gym was on the smaller side, and there was no sauna during my stay due to the renovations. Furthermore, only two elevators were operational for guests, which occasionally caused delays. Despite these minor inconveniences, the Hilton Hotel Kuching offers a fantastic location, comfortable rooms, and a courteous staff. Special mentions go to reception staff members Petros and Ivan, who were friendly, and Liz, who was particularly helpful and warm during breakfast service.

New hotel in Kuching, latest addition. Beautiful building architecture, the existence of Sheraton made Kuching city look stunning at night. I was at the hotel for a weekend team offsite meeting. All of the feedback I got from our colleagues from West Malaysia - the staff were warm and friendly. The food was nice, only feedback - the coffee served from the machine gets cold too fast probably due to the cold air-conditioning. Hopefully this hotel will improve further their services and stay on top of things!

We book the room by mail. At first, we were a bit puzzled when the taxi left us in front of this place. But what a backpacker!!! Sam is amazing. He loves talking to his guests, is very helpful, will do everything he can to help and advise you. My husband and myself, we loved talking to him. He is such a funny and interesting guy. His wife is also lovely. The bedrooms we stayed in did not have windows, which avoided us to be waken by the street. They were clean, like the share bathroom. Our 2 kids had their own bedroom. They both enjoyed the patio/ terrace. This is the best place to meet with all other travellers, or to stay quiet outside. The breakfast is very generous. The place is at walking distance from everywhere in Kuching. Yes, there are lots of cats, but the place was clean. We do recommend this place. Nathalie

The room I stayed in was a smoking room at 2nd floor. It was wide, clean and cozy. The aircon worked well, the bed was soft and comfortable. There were complementary 2 medium-sized bottle of mineral water with set of coffee and tea. The bathroom was quite large and clean. Everything worked as expected. Breakfast, opened at 6am in the morning, was located on the ground floor with limited but decent selection of menu. Staffs were very helpful, check-in and check-out process was smooth and quick. I would certainly come here again!

A beautiful room but could be further improved. It obviously looks incomplete to me. What is with the blind instead of curtains? Curtains will make the room more vibrant and elegant. How about installing carpet on the floor to make the room look more pleasing. Family room especially. Not all the guests likes to walk on tiles when in a room. Hot water is provided outside the room but I don't see any glasses, drink packets of tea/coffee. So I am wondering what is it for? However, I like the idea of ironing your clothes on Level 2 and drying your hair on Level 1 outside the room. Hunting for food was easy as there were many cafes/restaurants nearby but the weakness point is its a bit far from town.

Nearby the hotel, there’s food court, laundry and emart supermarket. It’s quite convenient and not too far from Vivacity mall, galacity etc which get car to there only need around 5 mins. Hotel provide free shuttle to and from Borneo Medical Centre. The bad side is that tv only have TV 1,2,3 which no mandarin channel at all. Besides, we only can get a card for room. The hot water for shower is not very good functioning, not warm / hot enough. Other than these, everything is good!

I happened at Woodpecker just the day before they closed Malaysia in isolation because of Coronavirus ...e I have to say that Oliver and Lynn were my saving!! You don't expect a luxury hostel, but you will certainly meet that warmth and family atmosphere that will make you want to spend more time! There are single rooms with bathroom, space is very small, but nothing misses. If you are not used to air conditioning, point right on the bed! It's better to choose a von ventilator room in this case. The hostel is developed on 3 floors and NO HAVE A LIVELS (I had a baggage, I made a lot of effort), the terrace offers a spectacular view of the river and sunset, unforgettable! The kitchen is provided with all tools (do not forget that it is very small and you will divide it into MULTI...the consequences are obvious), but if you miss something ask Oliver, and magically it will jump out (The last days there was also a stick on the terrace!) The two cats are the gods of the hostel, but they only babbed the first floor (where there is reception, bedroom kitchen and some singles): if you are above the floor you will not see them. Fittano also campsites to visit the Bako National Park (I did not have the chance), and Oliver is able to give many tourist information. There are several fixed guests of the structure, help in household business is always appreciated (for the price you pay a single, then, it is the minimum you can do!) Washing machine available for 5RM, and it is on the terrace. The area is very widely furnished with restaurants and the supermarket is 100 metres away.

extremely dirty and dingy-we changed the room 3 times. Apparently the other rooms hadn't been cleaned yet. Totally shabby, uncomfortable. 2 towels in the bathroom, asked 3x for more towels, then we should pay for them! Basically, the pool is nice, the loungers are scruffy and the cushions are dirty. No service at the pool, neither towels nor drinks. Eating in the Skybar is an experience. We were the only guests. My food was cold. The waiter didn't want to believe me and only after a discussion did he serve me the food hot again. We waited over an hour for the empty plates to be cleared and for us to order something else to drink. The 2 waiters preferred to chat and smoke behind the counter. The breakfast is bad, the choice is absolutely small, carelessly - tables and chairs dirty. Both restaurants were also closed during our stay. How this hotel should have four stars is a mystery to us-never again!

We booked this hotel because of it's close proximity to the Sarawak General Hospital - a relative had a serious medical emergency, which meant alot of uncertainty and long waiting hours for us. Having a base at the Regatta Suites meant that we could be within walking distance to the hospital, but were still able to rest in comfort at the hotel while waiting for news from the hospital. The Regatta Suites is thoroughly and thoughtfully appointed - little things like the built in USB charging points made a huge difference for us indeed. The beds were big and comfortable with spotless fresh linen. The AC worked like a charm, even during the blazing hot afternoon. The staff were also very accommodating - they promptly and cheerfully brought up a set of fresh towels for us when we returned to our room after midnight. Even though we are from Kuching, we stayed for about 4 or 5 nights at the Regatta Suites, and it made a real difference to be able to be so close to the hospital during the critical moments. Thank you to all the staff for the comfortable stay! 🙏🏻

Perhaps it was my luck, but the room I got was terrible. The first room had the faucet come off the wall!!! This in turn flooded the toilet which revealed more that I would have liked to see coming out from the drainage. My second room had a bad smell coming out of the bathroom. The bed was comfortable for a nights rest. This hotel is a walk away from the the waterfront and the closest mall is a 10 minute walk. The best things about this place was the price, but you could do better with the same price.

A service that you wouldn’t be able to imagine. This apartment would be the last resort you would want to choose in Kuching. If it wasn’t because of imperial hotel that was fully book during my time of stay i wouldn’t be choosing this apartment ever and also because due to my lack of research of other hotels as well I was actually looking for a hotel with swimming pool for kids to enjoy and spend their time with. Other hotel was way too expensive for only 2 nights stay.. However, this complaint is truly just on their service provided. Not on the facilities.. It is fully because they have the worst real estate agent to manage these service apartments. LUCO VISION SDN BHD (agent name: Lily).. First asking for RM200 deposit which I totally understand but later ask for RM30.80 “Service Charged” even after I fully paid my fee through Agoda. When I ask for explanation on what kind of service charged is charge, but they couldn’t explain further none other than just mentioning “this is management T&C”. Thereafter I call Agoda for further explanation on this service charged and it come to my surprised that even Agoda were not aware of such servicing fee being charged on client. How funny is that? Later then the agent say i must pay no matter what if i wish to continue my stay, i mean i have already fully paid to Agoda on my stay of RM494.60. And so called service fee that is chargeable, they can’t even explain it. By the way if you are curious why m i so furious on this service charged is because they can’t even give a brief explanation to what service charge m i paying, everything here is self check in and they have laundry machine in the apartment but it was lock because i have to pay extra to use it and worst still there’s no drinking water provided. Least of it, when i complaint to them through WhatsApp and demanded to have a number to call, agent refused to give a number. Stating that i can only contact them through WhatsApp. What kind of service is that?? I can’t even ask for a number or have a person to talk about on this issue?? So yeah, not to even mention when i ask for early check in of 30 minutes and they say it is also chargeable at an amount of RM150.00.. in addition to that there’s literally no front desk at the lobby and we can’t even go anywhere else because our luggage would eventually be unattended.. everything here is charges charges charges.. I really don’t like wasting my time giving complaint through online platform but this kind of service from these real estate agent or so called properties agent really giving me difficult sleeping time and future guest should deserve to know this kind of service from these people. I am not the only person giving complaint on Imperial Apartment already. I have live apartment at Penang and other places, their services was way more better than i could better explain in words.

A very cute and comfortable place to stay. The area where the hotel is located have lots of dining places and supermarkets - McD, KFC, e-mart, Subway, as well as banks and petrol stations. The customer service is commendable and the staff are really helpful. Recommended for backpackers and travelers.

Location was the best, close to river banks and center. Topspot food center within 5 min walk. The room has everything you can ask for, we were surprised by the choice offered for breakfast, however every hot items on offer was plain cold, which was a shame really. Staff was really helpful and nice, rooftop swimming pool nice, but it was impossible to use it on week end days as it was full of kids and families. For those reasons we chose to rate ”average” and also because the Wifi is limited or non existent.

It has been an easy way to book a desired hotel via Trip.com and at the same time with special discount. The hotel was clean and the staff was helpful to provide the right room with window as per booking. The facilities provided was good enough that covered basic needs like towel, bodyshampoo and mat. Great location. Access to a lot of places. Kuching Esplanade is just in front of the hotel. You can find nice food on foot. It is just that most shops close very early Friendly staff as they will smile whenever you walk past them. Choose the river view if you want to have a nice view like mine but this means that it will be noisy at times, especially at night. The only bad thing about my room is the toilet flashing system is not strong. Breakfast was ok but very simple. It will be good if they can provide buffet style.

A surprise hotel… taught it aging based on exterior… to my surprise the interior had been refurbished and brand new!! Furniture brand new and super clean. Spacious room too. A bargain and will definitely come again. Good job to the hotel management. Congratulations!! p/s: only there no parking… that the only minus point

Stayed for 3 nights. Arrived late, no staff around but they left instructions on how to get in etc. Hostel has a nice common area, but the rest of it is just a converted office block. Hostel was v quiet, not many guests, but it was January. My private room had no window, and on the first night the air con broke. Also it was not very clean with lots of long black hairs on the bed and floor. No staff around at night but was told via WhatsApp I could move to another room. This room was nicer with windows but the nearby bars had loud music playing all night and so I couldnt sleep. Aircon was never fixed. So 3 bad nights sleep. Breakfast was toast and hot drink, which was fine, although the butter was rancid. No staff around at checkout either so just left after speaking to the owner on the phone. I only saw a member of staff once for a few minutes over the 3 days. Open showers were nice, but toilets were quite often left dirty by other guests and not cleaned. I dont like leaving bad reviews but unfortunately I'm finding it hard to write any positives! Has potential, but falls a bit short at the moment :(
