Excellent hotel for the budget savvy. I booked the hotel through a third party which offered a good discount. Very good location as it is centrally located.Room is clean. Hot water shower provided. A LED TV although all Singaporean channels. Wondered why there was no chair provided in the room. Very convenient to move around . Limited restaurants nearby but manageable.Staff were very helpful. For the budget price, bottle of mineral water and coffee sachet were provided. Hot water for consumption purposes can be obtained from the first floor. Those who have work to do with the Indonesian Consulate, this is the best place to stay. The Consulate is just 300 metres away. Larkin Sentral Bus terminus is 8 km away. Zero complaints about this hotel for the price I paid.FromUS$17.00

I have put off writing this review for two months as I worry that the place will become too popular and I may not be able to get a room at short notice in the future. But the reality is that Memory Guesthouse is such a brilliant place to stay and an experience that needs to be enjoyed by more people. The value for money of Memory is a huge draw as the dorms, single rooms are all facilities are wonderful. The hospitality of owners Rodger and Gan is nothing short of exceptional. Their unwavering professionalism, warmth and generosity never ceases to amaze me. On each visit my belief that the service at Memory cannot get better is shattered. The atmosphere is charming and there are always great conversations to be had, friends to make and stories to be made. Put simply, and in my humble opinion, Memory Guesthouse is the only hostel to stay at in JB.FromUS$6.00

.:: I got this room from Agoda, (which for me is quite a good deal). There was mix reviews but you gotta experience it first, aite? So, my room is at the lower ground near the car park, and the entrance is secured with a key card. The room was quite big and spacious, thanks for that. It was clean, the bathroom was clean and everything's working. Now, since the room location is nearby the car-park, the noise outside can be heard, quite clearly. It might be a bother for others, and mind you, you might heard some noise at night as well. Nope, i'm not gonna spook you guys, just take it as an adventurous night (especially if you're a solo traveller). My booking came with a free breakfast. But hey, it was so very mediocre, you will cry. Why, why oh why all those fried rice must be so effing plain, just add some Maggi cukup rasa laaaaaa. I tried challenging my sophisticated palates for you guys, and nuff said, go have breakfast somewhere else. The staff. Yep, some of those at the counters are not very friendly. I try to understand you must be tired and all, but hey, you're working at the front desk. If you're not happy there, please ask the management for a change place. Both guests and you will be happier. The guy who showed me the room is friendly, smiling all the way. I preferred him and the parking guys compared to the female staffs. Cockroaches. I found one !!!! i hit with the slippers. I thought it was dead. But to my horror, the next day i woke up, it's not there. Guys, beware. it will come back and haunt you down !! ::. Oh, hold on. When you wanna drive out through the bar, you stop at the first stand and press the switch, only then the bar will go up. Someone has been waiting like fool for 4 mins. It's me.FromUS$16.00

Breakfast is not bad, there are quite a few types. I have compared several hotels before, but this one is relatively clean, so now I am staying at this hotel every time I go to Johor Bahru. Legoland Theme Park
My kids loved it and we stay for 2 nights. Legoland and the other 2 parks are only a few minutes walking distance. Checked in time was very late (4pm) and check out is 11am. We arrived at 11am and the reception ask us to come back around 2:30pm to see if there are any available room. We came back at 3pm but no room is available... For a hotel mainly for kids and family, the cleaning and safety could be better. My daughter cut the back of her feet by the sharp edge of the glass door and her skin was cut open when she taking shower and was bleeding...

It was a great experience for me and my friend staying in this hotel. The room was beyond my expectation, the gym was so cool and the swimming pool was spectacular. The service was great too. The staff was very thoughtful by lending us 2 umbrellas when it was raining outside. The check in process was quick and the receptionist really helps us by booking our slot time to use gym and swimming pool. Totally worth every penny staying in this hotel. Will come again if I come to Johor.

Legoland Theme Park
Hotel Jen is a great location for families that wish to go to Hello Kitty & Thomas the Train Theme Park. The hotel is nice and clean with peaceful and nice view. A pity that it was raining and we didn't enjoy the pool. Breakfast is a add on with full spread of food. The service and replenishing of food at the buffet was slow.

It is our 3rd stay my family and I love the hotel. However were disappointed with the room service breakfast we ordered for the morning of 1st Feb. My wife ordered the oat meal as she enjoy it during the previous stay. This time the oat meal was almost watery with only 1 slice of strawberry. We inform the room service and told them what we had the last time and the send us the new ones. I'm sure it's not the hotel standard. We also ordered the waffles and big breakfast and the sunny side up egg were cold as you can even see the egg york was already solid and the sausage were cold in the inner part.

Spacious and clean. Place was clean and organised. Lift was damaged during our stay hence we have to wait for more than 5 mins each time we take the lift. But location is convenient and availability of supper stall definitely a plus point.
