We were originally very happy with our experience of this hotel but unfortunately on the second to last night of our stay somebody opened our room door and tried to enter at 3:00am in the morning. Luckily we kept our door on chain so they couldn't come in, we shouted at the man and they said they were hotel security. There was no knock, no warning so of course this scared my wife and my daughter and we couldn't get back to sleep again and felt unsafe for the rest of our stay. Hotel staffed explained this was their security checking empty rooms if this is the case then the hotel needs a new or review their system to be 100% sure the rooms are empty before trying to enter. Not sure we can recommend or would want to stay at this hotel again in future. From$125

Crowne Plaza Istanbul – Old City: Refined Comfort and Remarkable Service (Room 3219)
As someone who travels frequently for both professional and personal reasons, often staying in dozens of hotels across different countries each year, I’m not easily impressed. Yet, my recent stay at the Crowne Plaza Istanbul – Old City genuinely stood out. It’s a property that masterfully combines thoughtful design, polished service, and a location that captures the very essence of Istanbul’s history and rhythm.
An Experience Worth Remembering
Location & Access
Situated in the heart of the city’s historic core, this hotel makes exploration effortless. From here, it’s just a short walk to the Grand Bazaar, Sultanahmet, and several key transport links. The setting feels authentic and lively; ideal for guests who want proximity without sacrificing comfort.
Room 3219 – Exceptional Comfort
The room offered a superb balance of functionality and elegance. It was impeccably clean, featuring plush bedding, perfect lighting for reading or work, and a surprisingly quiet HVAC system, a rarity in city hotels. Small details, like the scent of fresh linen and a spotless bathroom, reinforced the sense of care behind the housekeeping standards.
Service & Staff
The staff are the heartbeat of this property. Every interaction, from check-in to checkout, reflected professionalism anchored in genuine warmth. They anticipated needs before being asked, making the experience feel personal rather than procedural. This consistency across teams’ front desk, dining, and housekeeping speaks volumes about the culture of service within the hotel.
Dining Experience
Breakfast was both indulgent and efficient. The buffet selection was diverse, featuring beautifully presented dishes that catered to both international and local palates. The staff handled the morning rush with grace and precision, maintaining quality and attentiveness without any sense of haste.
Facilities & Ambience
Public areas were spotless and aesthetically cohesive. The fitness and spa areas were well-maintained, creating a serene environment ideal for unwinding after long days in the city. The lounge and lobby were comfortable enough to double as workspaces, a feature that frequent travelers will appreciate.
The One Minor Quirk
I noticed some early-morning noise, mostly the seagulls, a distant metro vibration, and a faint scratchy sound around 6 a.m. While this didn’t detract from the overall stay, it’s worth noting for lighter sleepers. It’s a subtle reminder that even in the most refined settings, Istanbul’s energy has its own morning rhythm.
Final Thoughts
What defines the Crowne Plaza Istanbul – Old City isn’t just its luxury—it’s the consistency of experience. Every aspect feels considered and intentional. Having stayed at countless hotels across Europe, the Middle East, and North America, it’s rare to find one that strikes this balance of local charm and international polish.
I often recommend property to colleagues who travel as frequently as I do, and this one has already made it to the top of that list. It leaves one wondering: how might the experience differ in another season, on a higher floor, or in one of the suites overlooking the skyline? Would the same quiet elegance and seamless service hold up under different conditions?
Those are questions I find myself curious to explore again, perhaps sooner than I planned.From$114

I stumbled upon this hotel in what they call their 'Asian district,' and for the same quality, hotels across the river would cost a lot more. The public transport options around here are excellent — light rail, buses, ferries, and the subway are all very convenient. It's a great choice, especially since we booked a sea-view room. The ocean view is absolutely stunning; you just want to take pictures every time you look up. It would be perfect if the hotel windows were a bit cleaner, but otherwise, it's wonderful, and there are plenty of dining options nearby too.From$155

I had a great stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Istanbul Old Town.
The location is perfect — right next to the tram stop and within walking distance to Hagia Sophia and Grand Bazaar.
Staff were very friendly and welcoming with their signature warm cookie.
The room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast had plenty of tasty options.
It can be a bit noisy if your room faces the street, but overall it’s an excellent hotel for exploring Istanbul’s old city. Highly recommended!From$109

Taksim Istanbul|4.07km from city center
I have stayed at The Ritz-Carlton Istanbul before, in 2017 and 2018, and unfortunately my recent stay was very different from those previous experiences.
The hotel itself has changed noticeably. The lobby used to feel much bigger, and now it feels smaller, with shops added that weren’t there before. While the hotel still offers good dining options—including Nobu, an Italian restaurant, and a well-known Turkish restaurant—Nobu in particular feels small compared to other locations worldwide.
We stayed during the New Year and winter season, and the hotel felt lacking in festive spirit. The decorations were very minimal: mainly an outdoor Christmas tree and a YSL light tree inside, with only basic décor scattered around. Compared to other hotels we stayed in during the same period, it did not feel festive or atmospheric at all. If you are looking for a strong holiday or seasonal theme, this hotel may not meet that expectation. This is purely based on the overall look and feeling.
Upon arrival, no welcome drinks were offered, which was surprising for a Ritz-Carlton. We noticed other guests receiving welcome drinks while we did not. The check-in area is quite small and not suitable for handling large families or groups. There is also no proper waiting area, except for two chairs near the entrance.
At check-in, we were informed that our three rooms were on different floors (2, 3, and 10), which was shocking since we had requested connected rooms or at least rooms close to each other.
The rooms themselves varied greatly:
• The 2nd-floor room had a terrace but was not family-friendly at all. When exiting the elevator, the area felt very dark due to the wallpaper colors, which my children described as “creepy.”
• The 3rd-floor room was slightly better, but the window faced a plant wall, making it feel like a basement room.
• The 10th-floor room had a partial Bosphorus view and was by far the best room of the three.
Because of these issues, I contacted Trip customer service, and I would like to sincerely thank Maxence Cui for the hard work, patience, and dedication shown while assisting us. Maxence truly tried everything possible to help us in a very stressful situation, and their efforts did not go unnoticed. I could see that the Ritz-Carlton management was actively involved in the discussion.
Eventually, Mr. Mohammed, the hotel manager, stepped in and handled the situation with kindness and professionalism. He made us feel welcome, encouraged us to stay, and offered to move the other two rooms to the same floor, which greatly improved our experience. Many thanks to him as well.
After the room change, we were finally together as a family, with partial sea views and garden views. The room service food was excellent, which was one of the highlights of our stay.
Overall, this stay was not the Ritz-Carlton experience we are used to from other locations around the world. While the situation improved thanks to the efforts of both Maxence Cui and Mr. Mohammed, it still did not fully meet our expectations. It was okay, but not the memorable luxury experience we associate with the Ritz-Carlton brand.From$274

This hotel is excellent in terms of location, facilities and overall environment! If the sightseeing needs of the old city are not taken into consideration, I think the hardware conditions provide a better stay experience than the Four Seasons Hotel Sultanahmet. However, the overall service quality is slightly inferior. Every staff member of the Four Seasons Hotel Sultanahmet is extremely warm and friendly, and always greets guests when they meet them; in contrast, the service staff of the Four Seasons Hotel at the Bosphorus is somewhat uneven. It is worth mentioning that the Turkish restaurant in the hotel is excellent, which is undoubtedly an ideal choice for tasting authentic Turkish food.From$740

they said the next grade has twin bed available with additional cost of €150 per night. then we told them we got jade membership and asked whether we could have upgrade with this. they then said our membership is not eligible for this room upgrade. anyway, they offered a free upgrade to us at the end but told us we couldn't use other benefits from the jade membership , e.g. complimentary breakfast....

I had a wonderful stay at the DoubleTree Sirkeci. The hotel was incredibly comfortable, with spacious rooms that offered plenty of room to relax after a long day of exploring the city. One of the highlights of my experience was the warm and helpful staff. Always polite, attentive, and ready to assist with any request.
The location is a major plus. Situated right in the heart of the city, it's within walking distance to two tram stations, making it very convenient to get around. It's also close to the Bosphorus Strait, perfect for those who want to enjoy a scenic stroll or hop on a ferry.
Another great feature is the on-site dining. The hotel has food and beverage outlets right downstairs, which made grabbing a quick bite or enjoying a relaxed meal very easy.
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and great service in central Istanbul.From$134

Disappointed!
Reviews were deceptive as they have selected the best pictures to lure in customers- rooftop restaurant of property.
Breakfast was lovely and staff in restaurant lovely.
Lobby staff would benefit from customer service training. They started well and showed the room - the room looked over at a demolition site and the construction was ongoing and loud. I called and requested another room and they said try tomorrow there is nothing else. I went down to talk to them and they appeared to get into an argument with each other in Turkish and then showed me another room with a tiny window.
I preferred to stay in the one with the demolition noise- which they seemed to think was fine as the noise would stop at 6pm.
They also told me the sauna was chargeable and swimming pool free. Again why advertise facilities without sharing this.
We decided to stay as we had paid up and didn’t have much choice- nothing better was offered the next day- left after two days and upon check out no thanks or hope you had a pleasant stay- just a - did you consume from the mini bar- no?- fine you’re clear. We hadn’t argued or caused a scene but were made to feel very uncomfortable.
As a frequent traveller - having visited three other hotels in trabzon- Rize- which were not four star but so much better and having visited Istanbul several times already- - these lot could Definitely could do with training and learn how to say thank you.
I would not stay again.From$121

Sultan Ahmed Mosque Istanbul|0.24km from city center
This hotel boasts a distinctive Turkish design throughout. The building we stayed in had a small inner garden with a bar, which was lovely. Unfortunately, we visited in winter when it was too cold, so we couldn't truly enjoy the garden's ambiance. I imagine it would be very pleasant to sit there in the summer or when the weather is milder.
The hotel's location is absolutely superb. It's about a 2-minute walk to Hagia Sophia, 2-3 minutes to the Blue Mosque, and 5-10 minutes to the Basilica Cistern. Most of the main attractions are concentrated nearby. We did almost all our sightseeing on foot: Hagia Sophia in the morning, then the Basilica Cistern, back to the hotel for a rest, off to a museum, another break in the room, and then the Blue Mosque. The entire itinerary felt very relaxed and convenient. You can also walk to the Grand Bazaar and Süleymaniye Mosque, so the location is a huge plus.
We stayed in a one-bedroom suite, which was quite spacious and comfortable. However, there were a couple of drawbacks: firstly, the ceiling was a bit low, which made it feel a little confining after a while; secondly, while the window could open, it only opened a small amount, and there was an ornate design outside, so the overall natural light and ventilation felt a bit lacking.
Additionally, our room was close to a small street below, and the noise was quite noticeable. There were staff activities during the day, and pedestrians passed by in the evenings and early mornings, making it generally quite noisy. This was a significant downside of our stay. I suspect rooms closer to the inner garden would be much quieter.
There's a Chinese restaurant within walking distance of the hotel. The food was average, but it's an option for Chinese cuisine when abroad. There are other restaurants nearby, but we didn't try them all this time.
It's worth noting that vehicles cannot pull up directly to the hotel entrance; they have to park in a nearby parking lot. Drivers contact the hotel in advance, and the hotel arranges a shuttle service, which was generally well-organized.
Overall, the hotel's biggest advantages are its prime location and its distinctive design. It's ideal for those who want to explore the main attractions of the Old City extensively on foot. If you're sensitive to noise, I'd recommend prioritizing rooms facing the inner courtyard or garden.From$235

The hotel is already old. Very poor breakfasts, there is really nothing to eat, I was left hungry. All the furniture is already worn out, but everything is clean and tidy. There are very few people in the hotel, a quiet place, so we did not hear anyone, although they write that the audibility is bad. We asked for a non-smoking room, there was no smell anywhere, probably again because no one lived nearby. One of the advantages is that the metro is right next door. But again, it takes about an hour to get to the tourist places)

The breakfast was amazing, a highlight of the trip. It’s located only fifteen minutes from Sultanahmet if you walk. My son liked taking the tram from the Grand Bazaar station right near the hotel. The staff was super nice and helpful organizing a car to the airport when we checked out. If we get a chance to fly through and take a few days stopover in Istanbul again, I’ll almost certainly try booking here again.From$76

What was good:
01. The breakfast service was excellent. There weren't any particularly heavy dishes, and the menu was simple enough for a quick bite to eat. However, the fact that there were only two beverage options besides coffee could be improved.
02. The soundproofing was good. I couldn't hear anything from the next room.
03. The bathroom was clean and comfortable to use.
What was not memorable was:
01. The staff member's expression was too gloomy during breakfast service. I believe it's the staff's responsibility to welcome everyone in the morning.
02. I don't know about the other rooms, but my room didn't have a personal safe. The check-in information clearly mentioned a safe, but I couldn't find one in my room no matter how hard I searched.
03. Trip.com listed a ”station pickup service” as part of the hotel's amenities. Because of the ambiguous distance, I walked to the hotel instead of taking a taxi. I asked about the ”station pickup service” via WhatsApp three days before check-in, but no one responded.
If they had provided detailed information about the hotel's services—the ”pool,” ”station pickup service,” and ”steam room”—and their locations, I would have been able to fully enjoy the hotel as a first-time guest and have a more memorable experience.From$87

The room was quite big and clean, and the breakfast buffet was rich. But there was nothing to do around, it was quite remote. Then the light bulb in the bathroom broke on the second night. One night, I was woken up by an alarm in the middle of the night, but everything else was fine.From$89

Gorgeous, clean and great location for visiting Bazzaar and sightseeing. I enjoyed the variety of restaurants close by and complimentary breakfast. The spa was not great jacuzzi very cold and pool even colder in the middle of winter. We asked for the jacuzzi to be hot and was told it would take hours to get the temperature up so we could not unwind and relax after a long day of shopping.

We had a pleasant stay at the Radisson Blu Hotel Istanbul Ottomare. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. We really appreciated the complimentary upgrade and thoughtful snacks upon arrival — a lovely touch!
Since the weather was quite cold during our visit, the air conditioning system wasn’t initially active, but the reception team was responsive and quickly helped us enable the power when we called.

Overall, Hilton hotels usually maintain a good standard, but I felt this property was somewhat below expectations. My trip was for business, and I left the hotel every day at 8 a.m. When I returned around 2–3 p.m., my room was still not cleaned. I had to wait about an hour and remind the staff multiple times before someone came, just so I could take a shower and rest. This was frustrating, especially considering the Hilton brand.
Other than that, I did not face any major problems. The hotel itself was fine, but the housekeeping service clearly needs better organization and consistency. For a Hilton, I expected a smoother experienceFrom$60

I stayed at Swissôtel in Istanbul with my wife for 4 days. Overall, the hotel itself is beautiful—great location, nice facilities, and a comfortable atmosphere. Most of the staff we interacted with were friendly and welcoming.
However, a couple of things really affected our experience. One night, the power went out for about 20 minutes, which was very inconvenient. Also, when I tried to extend my stay, the front desk staff initially told me it was possible and encouraged me to do so. But later, a manager informed me (in a very rude way) that there were no rooms available in the same category and that I had been misinformed by his colleagues. The tone and attitude were disappointing, especially for a hotel of this standard.
Other than those issues, our stay was enjoyable, but I expected a smoother and more professional experience from a 5-star property.From$233

The room was a bit small, but it was spotlessly clean. There was only one charging outlet by the bed, which was quite inconvenient. In our particular room, the single USB port by the bed had a loose connection and was completely unusable. As a result, we awkwardly had to charge our devices in the bathroom and from floor outlets near the entrance.
The service was generally good. The breakfast spread was quite varied, and plates were cleared very quickly. Upon check-in, we received a Chinese-language information sheet, which was a thoughtful touch. We were also given vouchers for two to enjoy Turkish tea or coffee at the rooftop lounge.From$141

The hotel is very beautiful, and it is an integrated building with the Ciragan Palace. Standing on the balcony of the room, you can enjoy the beautiful view of the Bosphorus. The breakfast restaurant, Peacock Restaurant, and Turkish Restaurant have rich and delicious dishes. Especially in the breakfast restaurant and Peacock Restaurant, you can experience the best service. Every manager of the restaurant does it personally, which is very enjoyable. The front desk, concierge, and room service are impeccable and fully staffed. Every need will be responded to and met in the first time. It is the first time to feel the kind of meticulous and warm service of a small luxury hotel in a big hotel. Sirkeci Istanbul|0.85km from city center
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel and liked its location. Staff are friendly and helpful and we appreciated the daily room cleaning and reset. The best feature of the hotel is that it is well situated to explore Istanbul and is about a 10 minute walk to the Sultanahmet Square where you will find many of the main attractions in Istanbul like Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. There is a tram line station very close to the hotel and it is a short walk to Sirkeci metro station. It was a good base for us as we checked out the areas across the water. It is a little far from both airports with each taking about 1.5 hours to get to but we felt the location was worth the time.
The room's decor was a bit aged but charming. The beds were comfy and you can get extra pillows here. The room ran a bit warm during our stay but it was a bit noisy outside with frequent tram trains and restaurants below so we kept the window shut. They do have air conditioning and a radiator but we felt the AC wasn't worth turning on during a cool stay in December. Our neighbours were a bit noisy and it kept my wife up but I had no issues sleeping. It was moderately inconvenient when the restaurant decided to pop their new year's eve decorations at 1 in the morning. The bathroom was good and clean with good shower pressure, soft towels and we appreciated the warming rack for the towels. They provide soap and shampoo in dispensers in the shower.
The breakfast was decent enough to start the day. They had enough to do a Turkish style breakfast and most options were pretty light. They had some hot items like sausage, scrambled eggs and other options that changed daily. They also had an area for cold items like cheese, labneh, yoghurt, vegetables and some cold cuts. They had a limited selection of fruit with some oranges and apples. They also had coffee, tea, juice and water. I had an early check out on my last day and they made me a nice bagged lunch to go to the airport with and have me a big can of juice which was very nice. The hotel provides bottled water for guests as well as lots of tea for in room use.
The hotel has a restaurant on site and a small outdoor patio that is open for lunch, dinner and late dinner. They have some spa and massage treatments that you can book at the front desk. There are quite a few bath, restaurants, shops and other experiences nearby. People in the area are very friendly, welcoming and will invite you into their shop or restaurant...frequently.From$88

We had a very unpleasant experience with stuff at the lobby , being there for Christmas Eve , me & my sister decide to eat inside the hotel rather to go out so at 10 pm we came down to the lobby where there is lounge area , for almost 15 minutes we saw that the lounge staff is passing us without asking if we want to order so I called one of the waitress and she came toward us with furious gestures before I start asking she said to me do you have a room in the hotel and I said yes , she continues what’s your room number and I replied , again with the cold face and rude behavior she continues ‘ under the name ?’ And I replied, she turned back to her desk without asking us what we would like to order and From her desk she went straight to reception to verify my information!!! My jaws dropped when I saw this , really rude & unprofessional behavior I was in complete shock that she even went to reception to verify the information, but the worst part was that after she verified and actually saw that we are the guest of the hotel she turned back to her desk and continued ignoring us , I never ever seen in my entire life a waitress permits herself to act like this with 5 star hotel guests, at this point we asked another waitress that if she can took our order , we then asked her if the hotel have another restaurant and she replied yes but the kitchen is closed after 10:30 pm , I don’t recommend this hotel for anyone that wants to enjoy the hotel facility, the staff are not guest friendly, the dining section is in some floor but for person like me that wants more easy snacks and chill area wasn’t really good option, not to mention that when we came back to our room we really felt so heavy and frustrated by this behavior, we were supposed to go today to lounge before departing but as for yesterday experience we just decide to check out soon and leave the hotel because we didn’t like to tolerate the attitude of this waitress ( she is the short women with short brown hair ) I suggest the general manager to see the video of yesterday and review their staff!From$578

Hotel staff was super friendly and helpful. Hotel room was good but it’s a bit noisy. Maybe hotel can further improve the noise isolation in rooms. I’ve preferred this hotel mainly due to perfect location at the heart of Ortakoy. Thus, I could take pictures of iconic Ortakoy Mosque with Bosporus bridge on background. In addition, there’s Michelin restaurant just next to hotel and you can also enjoy baked potato or other cheaper options in just 2 minutes walking distance with a very nice sea view. Moreover, I’d suggest you to have a cup of tea at four seasons hotel and visit Yildiz Palace and Besiktas carsi which are all at walking distance to hotel.From$137

How to say it? It's hard to describe it in one sentence. After we arrived, the service staff was very enthusiastic and strongly recommended us to go to another hotel, saying that the room was bigger and better, and closer to the tourist attractions. The location is indeed super good, but the hotel is very small, the suitcase can't be put in, and the bed is even smaller, about 90 cm. I feel cheated. . . The service staff is very arrogant. There are no other rooms. They won't change us, and we can't change back to the previous hotel. . How to say it, it's terrible to bring leaders out. This place is suitable for young people to come, go back and fall asleep, and go to the Internet celebrity restaurant to punch in and eat in the morning. In short, this hotel is extreme, the location is extremely good, and the room is extremely bad. You can choose it yourself.
I cannot say cause I did not stay in this hotel, they introduced another hotel nearby. Room is so small, location is good.hmm..From$113

A lovely hotel - super aesthetic, and you can tell it's full of culture.
We arrived around 2 am, tired as expected, and the receptionist was just wonderful. There was some confusion around the deposit and method of payment, but he was extra patient and accommodating. Just a shame that no one greeted us outside / helped with the bags, which we saw happen for some other guests (for us, the concierge just stood at the entrance watching us - not really the kind of welcome I'd expect for a 5 star hotel).
We asked for two room cards, one of which stopped working on the second day, but that was quickly fixed by reception. We also realized that one card worked better for turning the room 'on' than the other card. One would always 'disconnect' and turn the electricity off, so that took a bit of trial and error.
Calling reception wasn't always productive, unfortunately. Sometimes they didn't answer at all, so we had to go downstairs to them instead. The housekeeping line was a bit more useful.
We asked reception/housekeeping for an iron/ironing board and had to wait almost 45 minutes for it. We also asked for room service and we could tell the bedsheets weren't changed / bathroom wasn't cleaned. It wasn't really an issue for us, but for a 5 star hotel, I expected a little better room service.
We loved the breakfast. So many options and a great variety. Some of the waiters/waitresses didn't seem too happy to be there, which isn't great when you're going to have breakfast and see unhappy faces all around you. But, I came across the sous chef on more than one occasion and he was a delight. There was one waiter who was also lovely, and chatted to me about where I was from and how interested he was in the Spanish language.
Location of the hotel is great, within walking distance for several of Istanbul's 'hot spots'. Only 10 min walk from the ferry station, about 15 min walk to Hagia Sophia or the Grand Bazaar, and a bit further to get to the Blue Mosque. Galata Tower is also within walking distance if you enjoy a good walk. If not, there are plenty of tram/bus stations around. We stayed for 6 nights and never needed to use the tram/bus, though (walked around 15k-16k steps a day!).From$118

This is my third visit to the hotel after two previous good stays, but unfortunately, this time was different. The room was not as described in the booking — it was smaller than expected, had no sofa, and there was noticeable noise from the street.
When I informed the receptionist about the issue, he said the hotel was fully booked and refused to change or upgrade the room. After I mentioned that I would write my feedback, Ms. Zainab from the reception kindly contacted me and handled the situation with professionalism, providing the correct room.

I booked the standard double room only a few pounds more than a single room as I wanted space and a street view.
As I approached the front on the hotel, I was greeted by a smiling young man who took my case up the 2 steps into reception. He introduced himeselas Halit, the hotels manager. Halit greeted me very professionally but friendly too, I arrived at 7.30 but my room would not be ready until 3 pm as it was occupied, Halit offered me tea or coffee and told me to make myself comfortable in the lobby area. After my complimentary coffee, I fell asleep sitting up lol
Halit woke me at 11 am and told me my room was ready as he got the housekeeping to clean my room asap when the previous customer checked out early.
Halit took my case upstairs. My room was 203, which was very, very clean. Halit and poyraz, the night shift receptionist, made my stay very comfortable.

This hotel is very convenient, for the following reasons:
- the location is superb. This part is less crowded, so it's quieter and less hectic. However, there's a mosque nearby, and you can hear it during early morning prayers. If you're a light sleeper, look for a hotel away from mosques (if you can find one at all). We slept like babies after our walks, so we sometimes heard the mosque. I wouldn't recommend staying at the hotel down the street toward the sea, as there's a significant descent right behind this hotel, and every time you go to Sultanahmet, you have to climb up the hill first;
- the food is monotonous, but filling. The only problem is that they don't reheat the food; it's only warm at breakfast, at 8:00 a.m., which includes vegetables, jams, French fries, omelettes, boiled eggs, sausages (not great), cheese (okay), muffins, etc. It might be a bit of a hassle with children. We ate well until lunchtime. The dining room on the ground floor is small;
- the staff is incredibly friendly, young guys who can communicate in Russian, Turkish, English, and German. They're always ready to help, greet you, and see you off with a smile;
- the rooms are generally good, with air conditioning, a TV, a kettle, a refrigerator, a safe, and everything you need. Our bathroom worked, although the shower was a bit tired, as was the furniture, but the bed was comfortable and the linens were clean. It was a bit chilly in the room in February, so we turned on the air conditioning. The plastic windows could also use some adjustment, as one didn't fit snugly against the wall, allowing you to hear the street outside. However, the area is quiet, so it wasn't a major inconvenience.
For the price and location, including breakfast, it's simply superb; I definitely recommend it!
