The hotel has been in existence for a hundred years. The current building is rebuilt after the fire. There is a cultural and historic place... The hotel is located in a commercial street, very lively, bars, restaurants, cafes abound, just a stone's throw from the lake (always Can't remember the name of the lake, it is said that there is a dragon in the lake.)...The room is quite big, quite clean, facing the street but not noisy (the first photo was taken on the balcony of the room), the quality of Canadian citizens can be seen... The front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The on-site restaurant is truly a hidden gem—both the food and drinks were outstanding. The only issue I encountered was with the air conditioning in the room. It was quite noisy, so I turned it off before bed to get a better night’s sleep. However, I woke up early in the morning to find it had turned itself back on and the room temperature had dropped to 18°C which was uncomfortably cold. I mentioned this to the front desk during check-out and the staff member sincerely apologized and assured me they would look into it. I appreciated the way the situation was handled. The hotel staff were consistently friendly and helpful, which made for a welcoming atmosphere. The room itself was spacious, and the bathroom was notable small. While the stay was generally satisfactory, there were a few concerns that impacted my experience.
Unfortunately, I encountered numerous small flies in the room, including one on a towel, which required me to use tissues to address. Additionally, the elevator was in need of more frequent cleaning, as it appeared quite dirty during my stay.
On a positive note, the hotel offered breakfast vouchers for Ricky’s, conveniently located just outside. These vouchers were valid until 4 PM, which provided a nice level of flexibility.FromTRY 3,529

Hotel is newer so feels fresh and clean. Our room and bedding had a bit of a stale smell, I asked to have the pillows swapped after the first night as I immediately noticed the “greasy” smell when I went to bed. Although they exchanged the pillows, the second set was no better so I sprayed them with some aromatherapy I happened to have on hand.

Next to Okanagan Hwy, gas stations, Walmart, restaurants, and shopping are all conveniently located. We settled in for one night and continued to hurry the next day, so this position is more suitable.
1. The hotel does not have slippers and toothbrushes, so you need to bring your own
2. There is a Chinese-speaking lady at the front desk, very nice
3, it is relatively quiet at night, the wall sound insulation is ok, but the door sound insulation is not good
4. Twin room is quite large, 1.5m / bed, no problem for 4 people
5. Budget hotel with well-decorated decoration. However, it is relatively clean. There are also a gym, laundry, and amusement facilities.
6, simple American breakfast, no problem with fullness.

This was a two day planned get away for my husbsnd and I. Great location, we walked everywhere. The deck was a bit dirty, however there is construction going on around this location. The garbage truck dumps the big bins at 5:30 am so if you get an early wake up call. The hotel itself is a good choice, restaurants is also good. No pub anymore, but does not say this online. Arrived late night. There were to hotel staff at the reception and only one of them was nicer. I was awake for two days straight and it was my first time in Canada. Everything was different back in Saudi I told the receptionist so I might need some help or if she can guide me thru. We enjoyed our stay at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Kelowna. Staff were friendly, swimming pool and slide were great for our 9 year old, free breakfast was fantastic!
My only complaint would be that I booked a room with a king size bed saying it sleeps 4 (2 adults and 2 children), so I assumed there would be a pull out couch. There was only one king bed. So my toddler slept in her playpen that we brought along and my 9 year old had to sleep on the floor. I’m not really sure how one bed means you can sleep 4 people?

One issue stood out: we were asked to stop using the pool at around 9:30 AM because we were told it only opens at 10. Air con not air con really a built in fan with cold water. Our room got hotter not cooler and it was checked it was cold in the system but didn’t want to blow that out. Was told not an air con! I almost didn't book here because it appears to be a 1950s motel with fresh paint. That would have been a huge mistake. The location is perfect for wandering downtown and the parks by the lake. The room was bright, colorful, and one of the cleanest ever. I couldn't stop being amazed by the updates and upgrades, and all the bright colors kept me smiling. The color matched vw bus in the lot defines the character. I will choose Hotel Zed again over any of the boring up-scale or traditional places to stay in Kelowna. Excellent spot in Kelowna, have stayed in many hotels/motels there as well as lived there, nice area close to everything … this has a private courtyard, picnic tables, bbq, pool, games outside which are right there, perfect for families, super friendly people who run the place, nobody harrrasing you when you have a smoke outside (even tho they have the usual rules), direct room access outside, easy for loading/unloading luggage, super nice renovated suites with big screen tv, large kitchen, meeting table, outside patio on each suite, you can’t get any better than this and it’s a fraction of the price of the mainstream hotels where you need to take an elevator, walk a mile to go outside for a smoke and feel like a bird in a cage …. and have no patio access. This is a hidden gem in Kelowna, it’s the best hotel/motel for one of the lowest prices in the city. I lived here for years, and stayed in most of them since I’m travelling here for business every 3 weeks. 5 stars …. You will be shocked how cool this place is … You are welcome!FromTRY 2,833

We stayed at this lovely B&B for some nights, which was perfect. The room is clean and cozy, and the common areas are excellent. Everything is just like the pictures and even more spacious. Mitsuko and Norm are wonderful hosts who are caring and thoughtful and bring the best to their guests.
