The hotel was okay. The facilities were good and the staff are very helpful. The room is a little dated but still very nice and clean with an amazing pool. We were upgraded to a Nile view which was nice. The sunsets by the pool are also gorgeous. Great location as base for day trips in Luxor.
The only annoying thing was being pestered by vendors to buy at their shops inside the hotel(some wouldn’t take “no, thank you” for an answer), I understand they need to keep business going but all I wanted to do was relax by the pool after a long day of touring and fighting off vendors all day. The food here is also awful (gave free school hostel food vibes), we tried dinner twice and room service in addition to daily breakfast . We paid about 3000EGP for 1 buffet dinner and it was definitely not worth it. Our least favourite food from our 2weeks around Egypt. You can pay less for delicious food elsewhere.

Beautiful resort hotel by the Nile River Bank.
Excellent buffet breakfast which cater to a large variety of nationalities. There were French dishes, Japanese/ Asian food, English breakfast, Local Egyptian food. The free breakfast restaurant is situated right where you have an awesome view of the Nile River. There are 3 restaurants that opens until 10pm so we still had dinner after a day’s out exploring. Our rooms were clean and good wifi access. All that we needed were provided by the excellent staff. There were 10 of us so we had a total of 4 rooms and all our roooms had a nice view of the pool. Pavillon Winter Luxor is a beautiful hotel that serves as an extension to Sofitel's Winter Palace. The garden here is really beautiful and peaceful, giving guests some tranquility from the hustle of bustle of the streets of Luxor. Breakfast here is delicious and the pool was also well kept. We stayed at the Old Falls in Aswan, so we stayed an extra day. We booked the Winter Palace in Luxor instead of the winter option, which gave it a more ancient feel. The rooms are not big, but the overall maintenance is OK. The gardens are really beautiful. Although the Nile view is not as good as in Aswan, it is still OK. There is no extra charge for bringing children. The breakfast tastes good and the variety is quite rich, which is more suitable for white people. Many rooms are under renovation, which may be better in the future. The hotel is also convenient for exchanging money. I recommend staying there for one night to experience it. The tour attendant at the hotel, Abdul, is a complete fraud. He sold us a Luxor tour for 55 dollars. When we got in the taxi, we saw that it was not a tour but just a transport. And the air conditioning of the vehicle was not working, can you imagine, it was 50 degrees inside the vehicle. They said that this was a sudden malfunction, but this is not true. The air conditioning was broken from the beginning. Even if it was true, they did not inform us that the air conditioning was not working. We asked them to compensate for this, they could have at least given us a small refund, but this time Abdul lied to us and said that we had underpaid him in the first place. This is a big lie because we said we would pay in dollars and he showed us the total payment on the calculator. So there is no way we have underpaid. Definitely do not buy a tour from the tour attendant at this hotel, Abdul. We are currently traveling in a taxi at 50 degrees!!!FromRUB 4,346

The hotel is very beautiful, in a great location, very quiet, opposite the hot air balloon. I originally wanted to book the East Palace, but later I passed by there and was glad I booked the Hilton. The room next to the pool is spacious and has dining tables and other facilities. The overall service of the hotel is also good. The location is also OK. There is a Chinese restaurant 10 minutes walk away. The taste is good, the dishes are large and cost-effective. Take a taxi to the Karnak Temple, about 50 pounds.
Suggestions for improvement;
1. The shower water flow is small, and it gets cold while washing
2. Some rooms need to be ventilated to keep the air fresh

The front desk staff were all friendly and polite. The area in front of the hotel seems to be a popular hang-out spot for locals, so it was quite noisy until the early hours of the morning. But it's reasonably priced.
The facilities are old, but there is air conditioning (which is quite powerful), a refrigerator, a hair dryer, and an electric kettle would be nice, but the hotel is well-cleaned to suit Japanese tastes. There is only a shower, but the water volume is fine.
I think this is an irresistible situation for people who love Luxor Temple. There are food and drink shops within walking distance, and although you will generally be ripped off, the security here doesn't seem bad, so I think it's a convenient location.FromRUB 2,033

The hotel is in a good location, just a few minutes walk to the Luxor Temple, and downstairs is a street selling tourist souvenirs. The hotel's terrace is the biggest selling point, where you can see the temple at night and hot air balloons in the morning. The hotel's decoration style is also very distinctive, and it is obviously well-designed. The breakfast is rich among the several hotels I have stayed in Egypt. We also had dinner on the terrace. The business was very good and the tables were always turning over. The price was also very affordable. The three of us spent 1,500 Egyptian pounds. The only problem is that the hotel is a bit old, the room is a bit small, and there is no elevator. Going to the terrace is equivalent to going to the fifth floor. I think this is the only good value, clean hotel near Luxor's tourist attractions. There's a 5-star hotel next door, so there are plenty of police, which is reassuring. Breakfast was more of a bread buffet.
You can borrow a hairdryer at the front desk. There's also a pool, so you can do a quick tour and then go for a dip in the evening.
Since I was traveling alone, there were a lot of taxi and horse-drawn carriage solicitations when I left the hotel, but it's also possible to walk to the tourist attractions.
There's a KFC nearby and a McDonald's near Luxor Temple, so I didn't have any trouble finding food. You can also get koshari at restaurants or just walk a little further!SOLD OUT

The guesthouse owner provided excellent service and was very helpful in resolving any issues. Even though I was traveling alone as a woman, I felt very safe and secure there.
The rooftop offers panoramic views of the Valley of the Kings. I ate breakfast there every morning, which was quite good and filling (it included flatbread, cheese, eggs, tomatoes, cucumbers, hummus, fries, fried beans, and black tea). The location was convenient, and I could easily book a ride using InDrive. There was also a water dispenser in the reception area on the first floor. Since there is a hotel reservation intermediary, there is a trouble that Trip.com cannot confirm the reservation because it is a hotel that does not contract directly, but contacted Trip.com and managed to solve it.

The hotel has a really nice location with a beautiful river view, which we truly enjoyed. The breakfast was also very good and satisfying. However, we found that the staff was not very helpful when it came to cleaning up the tables during breakfast, and the room was a bit noisy due to outside traffic, which affected our sleep.
At reception, the personnel provided good service and quality assistance. One issue we encountered was during the booking process through Trip.com: we reserved a double bed room expecting it to accommodate two people, but upon arrival, we were informed that the double bed room was only for one person. We had to pay an additional charge to stay as two guests, which was unexpected and could have been clarified earlier.

Excellent buffet breakfast which cater to a large variety of nationalities. There were French dishes, Japanese/ Asian food, English breakfast, Local Egyptian food. The free breakfast restaurant is situated right where you have an awesome view of the Nile River. There are 3 restaurants that opens until 10pm so we still had dinner after a day’s out exploring. Our rooms were clean and good wifi access. All that we needed were provided by the excellent staff. There were 10 of us so we had a total of 4 rooms and all our roooms had a nice view of the pool. There are spa and massage facilities. There are souvenirs shops inside the hotel area. It was truly a relaxing holiday.

We were upgraded to a Nile view which was nice. The sunsets by the pool are also gorgeous. Great location as base for day trips in Luxor.
The only annoying thing was being pestered by vendors to buy at their shops inside the hotel(some wouldn’t take “no, thank you” for an answer), I understand they need to keep business going but all I wanted to do was relax by the pool after a long day of touring and fighting off vendors all day. The food here is also awful (gave free school hostel food vibes), we tried dinner twice and room service in addition to daily breakfast . We paid about 3000EGP for 1 buffet dinner and it was definitely not worth it. Our least favourite food from our 2weeks around Egypt. You can pay less for delicious food elsewhere.
The stay here was okay and staff were generally friendly and nice. No expectations of or demanding tips.
