The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance to many attractions, and next to a large shopping area with numerous malls, making it convenient for shopping. Although the facilities are a bit old, the place is clean, and the hotel itself is quite luxurious. The Room & Amenities
The room itself was spacious and featured a balcony, which was a nice touch. However, the amenities are very basic and ”no-frills.” Regarding service, don't expect much. We noticed housekeeping cleaning the room next door, but they never checked in to see if we needed anything. It seems housekeeping is strictly upon request or non-existent for short stays.
The Elevator Crisis (The Dealbreaker)
The biggest issue here is the infrastructure. There are only 4 lifts to service 41 floors, which is mathematically impossible during busy periods.
• Wait Times: We waited nearly 35 minutes just to get to the ground floor or carpar.
• Check-out: We tried to beat the rush by leaving early, and it still took over 40 minutes to get a lift that wasn't full.
• Management Issues: To make matters worse, 2 of the 4 lifts were being operated manually, meaning they rarely stopped at middle floors like ours (Level 21). We were essentially trapped while lifts passed us by already full.
Final Verdict
If you are staying here, be prepared to factor in an extra hour just for vertical travel. There is a Sky Deck that likely adds to the traffic, making the wait times unbearable. Due to the poor lift-to-guest ratio, I won't be returning. It’s simply not worth the frustration.FromTRY 1,171

The car park is shared with Hatten Hotel, need to walk 200 - 300 m to lobby at L3. Appreciate some deco can be done along the walkway from parking to Estadia Lobby, may be belong to Majlis Bandaraya Melaka. Room ok, could have offered breakfast for Suite package. This Ibis is much better than those in China. The room is clean, and the bedding is also quite clean. The breakfast is relatively rich, though the taste might not suit Chinese palates. Nice stay overall, however there were a couple of areas that disappointed us.
Breakfast used Buttercup margarine instead of butter. I understand some guests may prefer it, but it was really not to my taste.
We requested two additional bottles of water, and the next day asked for another two. We were told we had already “claimed” our allocation and would need to pay for more. We were asking for a normal amount, not excessive quantities.

Smoke smell in the room and toilet, although this is a non smoking room. We have to use our own air freshener. Better bring own towels as the towels provided are quite old. Room is spacious. There is a ceiling fan in the family room, as the aircon is not cold enough.
Breakfast is decent. However, I would suggest hotel to provide jam and butter in individual pack instead of in big bowls. It is not very hygiene for everyone to use the same spoon to scoop and spread it on the bread near the toast area.
The hotel is about 10 mins drive to Aeon mall. Ample car park space behind the hotel and it is free.

We had a good rest at Hallmark Crown Hotel. The room was a bit small but clean. The bedsheets and towels were clean. The water pressure was very good, the air conditioning was comfortable and the service was above satisfactory. The room has all the basic facilities and amenities.
Upon checking in, we found the room kettle was rusty but it was promptly replaced by a good one after we brought it up to the operation's attention. The sewage system disappointed us, too. On our first night, our toilet choked. But the technician came promptly and cleared the mess. The bathroom waste water took a long time to go down too but we did not make a complaint.
The continental breakfast was average but sufficient. The checking out procedure was also fuss free.

Location-wise, it’s quite good. There are plenty of food stalls and restaurants nearby, and Mahkota Parade is also within walking distance (if you want haha). The room is spacious, and the bathroom is also generously sized. Cleanliness could be improved. Breakfast had a good spread with enough variety, and the room service food was also good.
One issue I faced was the extra lock on my door, which was broken. I didn’t report it immediately and only informed the staff during checkout. Also, there’s no designated parking. The surrounding area gets full easily, and my car ended up being compounded by the Majlis. And, avoid parking under the trees or your car will definitely get covered in bird droppings 😅

We are a family of 5 adults visiting Melaka for my mom's 96th birthday celebration with her family and friends living n Melaka. We had the family suite - 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. *Reception lobby has an overwhelming smell that is disgusting.
*Bathrooms: the tiles in the bathroom are moldy and falling apart with makeshift patchu. Bath towels had a funny smell and had seen better days. We had no choice but to replace the while towels with the blue-striped pool towels.
* Kitchen - a skeleton setup with sink, microwave, fridge, kettle and coffee maker. Basic amenities like one would expect in a kitchen such as stovetop, dish washing liquid, kitchen
hand towels, crockery and utensils are missing. The microwave is filthy. We have to use the white hand towels that guests would normally use in the bathroom to dry our hands in the kitchen. We had to request room service to clean the filthy microwave, provide plates and utensils for us to eat out take-out food, along with dish washing liquid to wash our dirty dishes. Pictures speak a thousand words.
Hotel is connected to a Mall - Shore that is deserted. Foot traffic is at its all time low. Mall is dimly lit ... a HUGE contrast to AEON.

My mother and I took a bus directly from Yishun, Singapore to this hotel, which was incredibly convenient. The hotel is located near Airport Street, within walking distance to all the attractions. They refilled snacks and drinks every day. In the evenings, they even lit candles and essential oil diffusers in the room and on the balcony. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the quiet, cozy environment made for a great night's sleep. Rosa Malacca has a very strategic location with lots of delicious local food just steps away. The hotel features a stylish industrial-themed design that’s very Instagram-worthy. The room is big and comfortable.

Things I feel could be improved:
The Smart TV should be mounted on the wall.
Reason: I stayed with three children aged 3 and below. The TV is too low, and they kept touching the screen. I had to watch them 24/7 to make sure they didn’t touch it.
Hopefully, the owner can provide a microwave instead of a stove.
Reason: It would be easier to reheat food.
The house needs a place to hang wet clothes near the washing machine or balcony area (same level as chair and table).
Reason: It would be convenient for guests to hang their wet clothes.
It would be great if the owner could provide plastic plates and cups.
Reason: They are easier to handle and reduce the risk of breakage.
The Smart TV is quite laggy and slow to respond.
Suggestion: Consider upgrading it (not a top priority).
There should be at least one mirror inside the room.
Reason: It would be especially helpful for women.

The location is excellent, just dozens of meters from Jonker Street, literally around the corner, and super lively. Yet, the hotel itself was surprisingly quiet. The environment is absolutely fantastic, truly a Nanyang-style building. The hotel is very clean, cozy, and comfortable. For me, safety is also important, in the sense of not having any theft issues. The hotel is located next to a food court where you can try local cuisine. Tourist attractions are within walking distance. It's situated on the bank of the city river, where you can watch or even take a ride on a river tram. The hotel breakfasts are a bit monotonous: a single-egg fried egg, an omelet, or hard-boiled eggs to choose from, beans, one chicken slice, tea, coffee, toast, two types of jam, butter, dry cereals, and milk. The hotel isn't new and has some worn-out areas, but for a 2-3 night stay, I'd fully recommend it. As for bathroom amenities: shampoo-conditioner, disposable toothbrush and toothpaste sets, and a shower cap are provided. Housekeeping is daily. There's no soap.FromTRY 1,422

Was contemplating between Amadel Residence or the other apartments and decided on Amadel based on location and environment. It was a well made decision and pleased with the choice.
Highly recommended for group travellers. I would say it is well comfortable to accommodate about 8 pax per group, mixture of adults and children.
1) Location, along the sea coast with nice seaview and sunrise scenery.
2) 10 min drive to Jonker walk. Many nice food restaurants and weekends night market activities.
3) Well amenities, with washing machine, water purifier, induction cookers, refrigerator and many more convenience essential needs.
4) For self drive, sufficient and well space parking available.
5) Resting, comfortable beds and pillows, sofa. Great for a 2 nights stay at least depending on your travelling.
6) If you enjoy privacy, rest assure on this.
7) Overall, a well taken care apartment, pretty new place. Not considering ”Covid” period.

Melaka Apartment Hotel – A Relaxing Stay with a View
Our stay at Melaka Apartment Hotel was truly enjoyable and exceeded our expectations in many ways. One of the first things we appreciated was the spacious and ample parking area—a big plus, especially when traveling with family by car. We never had to worry about finding a spot.
The location is also a major highlight. It's close to the city center, popular attractions, and plenty of dining options, making it easy to explore Melaka without spending too much time on the road. Whether you're in the mood for sightseeing or just looking for local food, everything is just a short drive or walk away.
The apartment came with a balcony facing the sea, and this was easily one of our favorite features. It was so relaxing to sit outside, feel the sea breeze, and watch the cruise ships from a distance—a simple but memorable experience that added a peaceful touch to our trip.
The swimming pool was large and clean, perfect for both adults and kids. Our children especially had a great time splashing around and enjoying themselves, which made the stay even more worthwhile for us as parents.

Booked the suite and room was really big. Came with 2 queen beds and had a separate work area big enough for meals and activities 😅
Room was clean and look well maintained. No stains or whatsoever. Very pleasant stay. The hotel staff were helpful and prompt in service. We asked to clean up the room and left for breakfast immediately after. When we returned the room was all made up, neat and tidy.
Breakfast was decent. Do note though, that the take-your-own-food buffet style became semi ala carte buffet because there were not enough guests while I was there. Still, it was good enough.
Kids wanted to swim but the pool was a little too tiny for our liking. We did activities outside of the hotel though so not much of an issue.
Location wise. If you want something right next to malls or in the heart of the jonker area, this is probably not your best choice. We take a 10 min walk to the jonker area and it was a comfortable stroll though. Quiet enough but not too near.

It's rare to find a twin room in Malacca with single beds wider than 1.2m, which is incredibly important when traveling with children. This is a guesthouse-style hotel with spacious rooms. Since it's relatively new, everything feels very fresh. There's a gym and swimming pool located in Building 7B. I didn't book breakfast at the hotel, as there are plenty of shops downstairs offering local delicacies. It's also very convenient to get to the beach, and from the higher floors, you can catch a glimpse of the golden ocean. Getting around with Grab is easy, and most attractions are just a 10-20 minute ride away. A 100 MYR deposit is required upon check-in, which can be paid in cash or by credit card. A very new hotel with very comfortable spacious rooms and is situated within the Portuguese settlement. My visit was during Christmas time so there were a lot of celebrations going on, adding to the atmosphere.
The visitor before me used the fridge for durians, and I could not use the fridge throughout my stay due to the smell. The stamps were very polite to ask me about my visit however there were no immediate rectification or solutions provided. Maintenance will be an issue if not taken care of well.FromTRY 3,133

It’s shocked that I was given a room not yet tidy up(first time in all my travels) and I waited a bit to get it changed (the room changed with not working with the room card for the electricity (need to do it manual). It’s already after 8pm so I only wanted to rest.
And one night the water tap was broken and no water was out.. I called reception to get it fixed but no body came until I called it again. They fixed it but with water all splashed in the bathroom..
It’s disappointing and I don’t think I’ll do a second time here.
