This was my third stay at The Bayview, and once again it didn’t disappoint. My room on the 11th floor offered a breathtaking view of the sunrise and sunset—truly the highlight of my stay. The Christmas decorations around the property added a beautiful, festive atmosphere. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, and breakfast featured delicious Filipino food along with great coffee. Stayed for one night. Location is perfect, just beside the Binondo church. Lots of restaurants and eateries nearby. Metro station is also around 800m away only.
Room is clean, but the chair seems to be placed on a weird place and can block the way going to the other side of the bed.
Airconditioner works very well and was very cold. Could have been better if air direction can be adjusted as you will feel the air blowing to your head.
Bed is comfortable, but the comforter is too short and cannot cover your whole body.
TV is nice and has lots of international channels, but brightness was a bit too dark.
Strong shower water pressure and stable temperature
Room wifi is not 100 percent stable.
Hotel lobby is nice but a bit hot. Maybe the airconditioner was malfunctioning.
Service is very good, and very friendly.

THINGs to IMPROVE for me are..
1. Sana madali silang kontakin, kasi i've been trying to call them like 50x thru phone and trip app pero walang sumasagot. May concern kasi ako sa booking ko.
2. Sana may tao sa drop off, like grabe kaloka, kailangan mo pang umakyat sa lobby (3rd floor) para lang kumuha ng cart at mag-ask ng help para sa gamit, may phone naman na available sa drop off kaso wala ding kwenta kasi walang nasagot.
3. Yung sa shower, pag naliligo ka lumalabas sa glass door yung water.
4. Aside sa toilet paper wala nang extra tissue sa sink.
5. Medyo mahabo at madumi yung ref.
Other Note is yung swimming pool ay outside the hotel you have to pass through at maglakad sa mga guest ng ocean park ticketing booth - so kung mag-swimming kayo that is something you can consider

Rooms are spacious, clean, and homey. The view from the 5th floor is also nice. The hotel itself is large, you can get lost. It has a very titanic-y lobby but crowded with people due to a lot of events being held at the hotel. Service is also good, not the lobby restaurant tho. We were seated for 20mins but no one approached us to take our orders since everyone was busy. So we missed the afternoon tea. Breakfast is also fine, not as much compared to other 5-star hotels but good enough.

Large room (Superior King) which was clean unless you go looking under the fridge or bed. A very comfortable mattress and excellent bedding was provided. The shower was warm to hot and powerful. There was no view from the window which didn't bother us for the price.

It even has a two big balcony, great for relaxing! Just take note, that the hotel is very strict with headcount and will charge per additional person. Manila Grand Opera Hotel - A Comfortable Stay in the Heart of Manila
I recently stayed at the Manila Grand Opera Hotel and had an overall pleasant experience.
Pros:
Location: The hotel is conveniently located near public transport (LRT station), making it easy to explore Manila's attractions.
Amenities: The hotel has a swimming pool, spa services, and a casino, offering a variety of options for relaxation and entertainment.
Rooms: The rooms were clean and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and basic amenities like Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and a flat-screen TV.
Dining: Their in-house restaurant served delicious Filipino and international dishes. The breakfast buffet was a highlight of my stay.
Cons:
Noise: Since it’s in a busy area, you might hear some street noise, especially during peak hours.
Room size: The standard rooms are a bit small, but they are functional for short stays.
Overall, I recommend the Manila Grand Opera Hotel for budget-conscious travelers seeking a central location with good amenities. It’s a great value for money.FromAU$46

I thought the Executive King Room I had, which costs more and is a bigger room, would be better and my stay would be more comfortable, but that was not the case. The cabiner smelled bad, the tiles were cracks and there were bugs in the refrigerator and on the sink. This condition made me check out sooner. JMM is my go-to accommodation when I travel, but sad to say, this one is not. They have rooms which are on a reasonable price and more pleasant and more comfortable. Smaller but cleaner.FromAU$48

I would say the hotel gets 10/10 for everything and except the some amenities which are quite old on the property but that doesn’t stop you from enjoying other amazing things offered.
Breakfast is made to order and not Buffet but the quality of the food is amazing specially the omelette which was filling and delicious.
Location- You could basically walk to all major attractions in Manila except the Venice canal mall.
Clubbing and Fun- There are loads of Japanese and Korean style bars and clubs in the doorstep but trust you won’t have the disturbance at night.
As a dad and a family man I’m happy that property restricts smoking in all common areas including the rooms but smoking should be made more accessible and should have rain sheds while it’s raining you can’t enter there. There’s no onsite bar in this hotel and I would loved to have one in the premises.
We stayed in the apartment type room with kitchen and had little to no issues with their quality of service.
Only 1 thing I would say as a recommendation to the hotel - Kindly check all your power sockets in that wing (A3-7) it’s tripping and it’s a safety hazard.
Overall very happy with their service and definitely worth the price we paid. Will I come again - Yes

Stayed for two nights to easily explore Intramuros, Fort Santiago, Luneta Park and etc. They gave 2 key cards. Required PhP2k deposit, could be via credit card or cash. We love the A/C in the room but not the penthouse, where the breakfast buffet is. Speaking, the food is how I remembered before the great break for mankind in 2020. It’s simple and basic yet really I find enjoyable. We enjoyed their coffee. The view from our room was beautiful. Ours was clean and there’s no carpet which I like. And now I’m reminded how we were greeted with stinky carpet going to Rafaelle. By the way, this restaurant revamped its menu. In my opinion it’s not for the better. There’s also no way to do advance order. Even when declared that you’re staying at the hotel and a heart beat away. I gave my full name that could be verified with the reception. The return call was to turn down my request. It was composed of fragments of words, some phrases. From that call, I didn’t understand their reason for not agreeing. Anyhow, alert to Mommies and Daddies with hungry babe/s in tow. Quite unfortunate.FromAU$146

I recently stayed at the hotel for a few nights, and overall, it was a decent experience with a few areas for improvement
Pros:
The location of the hotel is excellent—close to key attractions and within walking distance of restaurants and shops, which made it convenient for exploring the area. The room was clean upon arrival, and the housekeeping staff did a good job maintaining it throughout my stay. The bed was comfortable, and I appreciated the modern amenities like the flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi, which worked without any issues. The bathroom was well-stocked with toiletries and had a good amount of space.
Cons:
However, there were a few downsides. The room was a bit smaller than expected, making it feel slightly cramped, especially with luggage. Noise from the hallway and neighboring rooms was noticeable at times, which disrupted sleep on a couple of occasions. Also, the bathroom seems to be abit old and unkept. Lastly the room AC is abit noisy
Final Thoughts:
Overall, this hotel offers good value for its location and cleanliness, but there are some areas that could be improved for a more comfortable and relaxing stay. I would recommend it for short stays or if you’re not too sensitive to noiseFromAU$193

I had a great stay at Hotel Benilde. The location is very accessible, making it easy to get around the area. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with a smile. The hotel itself was super clean, which made my stay even more comfortable.
The only downside was the limited breakfast options, which is why I decided not to avail of it. Instead, I opted to eat at KFC, which is conveniently located right next to the hotel.

The booking was fast, checking in on the first room which was in the 31st floor that we booked was slow we arrive around 2pm but we’re able to check in past 3pm. The first room we have was ok but the only complaint we have is that there are many cockroaches crawling in the wall, floor, kitchen and even in the bed. We have a bunk bed and under the mattress when I lay down I can see cockroaches crawling. I have to put cotton balls in my ear as I’m scared it will crawl inside my ear. The second room we check in on the 16th floor, we have no complaint at all it is clean and very comfortable. Staff was helpful.FromAU$25

When i had a vacation last November 2024 this hotel almost became our home i invite my relatives book another room, invite friends and i book another room when i went home to bicol and came back i stayed in this hotel every time i go home in Philippines i always stayed here however this last vacation i had when where about to go to batangas for were about to check out and was about to book again to this hotel so that when get back to manila were gonna have a reservation already but they accuse us of stealing their cooking pot my god a ******* old cooking pot we stayed in this hotel for almost a month and they ******* accused us of stealing a ******* old cooking pot i want to argue however we are on the way to batangas so i paid 500 pesos for a ******* old cooking potFromAU$58
