The room itself is actually great value for money, but the facilities are basic. There's no paid drinking water in the room, and you have to go to the second floor to buy it, which is really inconvenient. Downstairs, there's a place to store luggage, but not overnight. The location is convenient; it's a 5-6 minute walk to the Charging Bull, and you can easily walk to the New York Stock Exchange and other financial areas. There's a subway entrance directly across from the hotel, with at least four platforms nearby, which is very handy. It's also close to the South Ferry. If you buy a New York City unlimited weekly subway pass, getting around is super easy from here.

Staying at The Edition again this year felt just like coming home. The front desk and luggage staff were incredibly warm and thoughtful, it was like seeing old friends. A special shout-out to Mr. Shah and Mr. Brian at the front desk – their service was impeccable, and they were so friendly and diligent. They truly deserve praise! 👍👍 We celebrated a birthday at the 9th-floor restaurant this time, and Mr. Ace was a huge help throughout. He took photos for us and paid attention to so many dining details. All in all, we had a fantastic stay here and hope to return next year! 😄

The front desk staff were proactive in trying to solve problems, but the cleanliness of the room was disappointing. We didn’t want to know, but we ended up learning the hair color of the previous guest. Having only two elevators was an inconvenience, but the relaxed pace of travel made it more tolerable. The hot water and coffee were really great.

I love Arlo. I stay at Arlo pretty often. But this time was off. I came back to my room in the evening, they cleaned it, but they didn’t take out the trash from the terrace and it started the rain. And I didn’t have coffee capsules (pods) at all. I called to reception and girl was like oh do you have a coffee machine in your room I was like yes I do. And a guy came at 11pm and was cleaning the terrace.

This is an older, established hotel with an excellent location right in Midtown Manhattan. It's convenient for taking the subway to the train station. I really appreciated the security guard checking room cards before entering the elevators in the lobby – it made me feel very safe. The room and bathroom were small, likely due to the hotel's age, and the poor soundproofing was a definite downside. The air conditioning was quite loud, but the temperature was stable. The view from the window was nice; you could even see The Edge. Housekeeping cleaned the room daily, and both the security guard and the housekeeping staff were very polite. I arrived from San Francisco at 10 AM, and it was raining and snowing and freezing outside. The front desk said I had to wait until 4 PM to check in, or pay an extra $75 for early check-in, which I couldn't do. Luggage storage wasn't free either; they charged $5 per bag.

This is a great hotel 1. First of all, the location is very good, located on Park Avenue and 28th Street, next to Fifth Avenue and only 1 minute away from the 28th Street subway station, which is very convenient for going to North or South Manhattan. We took the subway to Sumit, then walked along the way to Times Square and the shopping street, and finally passed the Empire State Building and walked back in less than half an hour! 2. A 5-minute walk away is a large supermarket WholeFood. It has a large buffet restaurant with a lot of oriental food, which is very convenient and delicious. There are nearly 10 kinds of soups to choose from. The buffet has a lot of cold dishes and cooked food. It feels like the problem of eating is completely solved. In addition, it also includes a sushi restaurant and a pizza restaurant, so no matter what kind of diet you need, it can be solved. Although the price is not as cheap as imagined, in New York, I think it is worth the money 😊 3. Although the equipment in the room is a bit old, it is modern so it doesn't look old. In addition, the size of the room is considered large in New York, which is a big advantage. 4. We stayed here for four nights. Room number 1401 was at least very quiet. The air conditioner, which is the most criticized in the United States, was very noisy. It didn't happen here at all. And its LCD air conditioner control was the simplest and most convenient to adjust by myself that I have ever used, so I slept well for four nights. 5. The staff is of good quality and helpful. The room service is mainly Chinese, so there is no problem in communication. They are also very polite, so I think this is a plus.

Great location and a fantastic, modern hotel. Everything was very clean, and our room had excellent views over the city. We really enjoyed our stay overall. The only downside was the lifts — the queues were long and most of the time only one out of four seemed to be working. It would also be helpful if the £10 daily credit could roll over. Despite this, I would definitely recommend the hotel and would stay again. We even spotted a very famous photographer staying there at the same time!

Fenomenal location close to everything + subway Just be aware that there is the Roof Top Bar with Lou music friday-saturday until 4AM (18th floor) we could hear it a little bit from 9th floor so closer floors might have suffered it a little more...or they maybe joined the party??!!! Needs to be 21 to get in. Saturday Sundays entry is admitted to everyone as they offer Brunch Service there. The grab&go thing is great for breakfast and also if you want to grab something to eat during long days visiting the city. Also ask for free water if needed!!! The 10 dollars to spend every day per room is also good as you can use them to get some extra food or coffee or beer or discount when using the hotel bar/restaurants/club facilities. In brief, very good place to stay in New York

There are also lots of grocery stores and restaurants around so you won't worry about food. Staffs are helpful and when you're out of room, they do daily housekeeping, just make sure you remove the ”occupied room” tag on your doorknob. They support sustainability through providing a water dispenser instead of bottled water. The room size is good. Booked for my daughter and classmates. As a result, when they checked in that day, they found that the bedding and quilt cover provided by the hotel were separate, and the so-called bedding was a dirty blanket. Later, after they responded to the front desk, the waiter brought two quilts that were still not covered with quilts, saying that their hotel has always been like this, and that 7:00/22:00 is their service time, and if there are any problems after that, I will talk about it tomorrow. After I reacted to Ctrip customer service staff ”Ke Xin”, she followed up in time and solved the problem on the same day. The waiter finally sent two quilts that normal humans sleep over. The manager on duty said that maybe the communication was poor, but I My daughter can communicate with the locals in spoken English, and her classmates have lived here since childhood, so what about communication? My son had a little trouble when he entered the United States. He was still in shock. Fortunately, he checked into a familiar hotel in time and settled down. The hotel is worth recommending in all aspects. The price-performance ratio is still very advantageous compared to the surrounding areas. My children have stayed here many times and for a long time, and they are full of praise for the hotel! (By the way, I would like to remind international students entering the United States, especially senior students, to handle the I20 form in time at school before leaving school. In particular, they should find the school's international affairs department, sign, and confirm whether the printed form has expired. In addition, when entering the country, if you encounter problems, don't panic and actively cooperate. The US customs officers are still very humane. They also know that it is not easy for international students to come here from afar, and they will not easily make unfavorable decisions. They will actively communicate with the school to understand the situation. Finally, I would like to remind the children to activate international roaming on their US mobile phones, otherwise it will be very troublesome after returning home)

The room was spacious enough for a solo traveler, but it might be a bit cramped for two people. There were several toilets and showers on the floor. The shower closest to my room was out of order, but it wasn't an issue as there were others available. I booked this hotel because it was the cheapest option, and the location turned out to be excellent, especially for those using Newark Airport. It's a 10-minute walk from Penn Station, which has direct trains to the airport, so no transfers needed. Plus, it's within walking distance of Times Square and Broadway, which was a huge convenience as I didn't have to take the subway late at night. It's quite a busy area, so it didn't feel particularly unsafe even late at night, but sirens were a frequent sound and could be heard clearly in the room. If you're sensitive to noise, this might not be the best choice for you.

GGuest UserThe room was quite spacious. Being on a middle floor, it wasn't too noisy. The facilities are pretty much what you'd expect from a 4-star hotel in Beijing from the late 90s. It had a bathtub with a showerhead, and as often happens, the bathtub didn't drain very well, but it didn't stop me from showering. On my first day, the hotel had no hot water, which was a real shame; it only came back on at 6 AM the next day. They don't provide slippers or toothbrushes, but they do have shampoo, conditioner, and soap. The service was generally quite routine, though the room attendant had a better attitude. They also charge for luggage storage.

The room with two queen beds was very spacious. However, there was no drinking water or coffee machine in the room. When I asked the front desk, they initially said the complimentary coffee in the lobby was only available in the morning and had already finished. After I pressed them, they reluctantly provided two bottles of water and sent a coffee machine with some filter coffee pods to our room.

After living in New York for three days, the room is really small. The 28-inch suitcase can't be opened flat, because it is a vegetarian hotel. You can't eat it. The front desk prepares fruit bread and milk. The public bath is very good and the travel is convenient. Suitable for one person to travel
