Room description old, dampness in rooms. Amenities I.e. playing area pool, table tenis, etc was chargeable. Food (did breakfast) average in taste. Work was going on in the hotel. Pool site was available incomplete where monkeys were bathing and drinking water from it.

There is a small garden, excellent for a morning cup of tea or evening snacks. There are few restaurants nearby also. The hotel also has a travel desk who can arrange cars for local siteseeing. Property is bang at the main market. This is an advantage. The view from the hotel is awesome. All the staff are courteous and pamper you. This is core for any hospitality industry. The rooms are nice and have a great view. Different categories. I got an upgrade and it was simply great. Food was nice. I opted for breakfast and dinner. When it is cold, it is good to eat dinner in the restaurant. There is a high tea in the evening ***** with snacks and kashmir special. The ambience of the hi tea lounge is simply awesome. Overall a great experience and i strongly recommend this hotel. No hotel is perfect and you may have some teething issues. The key is that they are resolved. Scope of improvement is that this property is not very well maintained. Washrooms have leakage, rooms are with low terrace and not much ventilation.

Found this property while navigating google maps on terrain setting. They're difficult to reach (a disclaimer that doesn't get shared while booking, although the property offers a pick up from the base of the hill, until a point your taxi can reach. Call them first, as google routes will take you to the wrong location. The positive of this makes them placed in a pristine area with very good views of the mountain peaks, but also makes them quite further away from the main market, restaurants, facilities and activities. If you want silence and a pristine space, they're your place to be. If you want to access good food and the hustle bustle, you can take a lovely long walk through the forest, across the river and reach the pahalgam main road to access those services. The food was underwhelming. I would be hesitant to bring parents and anyone slightly older as the terrain is tough. The place is more suited for younger, able-bodied people and those happy to walk for a couple of kilometres up and down the mountain. Generally speaking, i had a good experience and would likely come here again.SOLD OUT

When it is cold, it is good to eat dinner in the restaurant. There is a high tea in the evening ***** with snacks and kashmir special. The ambience of the hi tea lounge is simply awesome. Overall a great experience and i strongly recommend this hotel. No hotel is perfect and you may have some teething issues. The key is that they are resolved. We took 2 rooms for 2 nights for Rs, we are charged ₹ for 1 night for 1 room which is not at all a great stay. No breakfast included, geezer not working, worst food in restaurant with high prices, half the menu is not available, simple room not at all worth for that money, half of the time Wi-Fi is not available. Only the good thing about property is location, the view is good from the property and glacier river will be passing in front of the property.
