Great room and even better location. Hotel contacted us the day of arrival to ensure we had all the right arrival information and made sure we knew how to get from the airport. Couldn’t be easier to find and so close to one of the vaporetto stops that there was no hauling luggage through the busy streets of Venice (this is a much bigger bonus than those new to Venice will realise). Really friendly staff on check-in (and throughout the stay) and room was made available for us early which was great. The room itself was huge, spotlessly clean and so much fresher than many of the older traditional hotels in town. The only downside to the hotel is that it doesn’t have a 24 hour reception (the guy leaves about 4pm) and it doesn’t offer many amenities (no laundry, no bar, restaurant or room service) which isn’t unexpected for a hotel of its size, and given the amount of options in the vicinity isn’t a big deal and they do provide a free mini-bar to compensate . All in all a superb little hotel which we thoroughly enjoyed and will definitely use again.

I took a water bus from the airport to the hotel. It took 7-8 minutes to follow the navigation from the San Marco Pier. It was right next to the San Marco Square and the location was good. But to be honest, Venice is relatively small and it's actually quite convenient to live anywhere, but the price is higher near Piazza San Marco. The hotel room is not big, especially after adding a bed to become a triple room, it is even more crowded. Fortunately, the interior decoration is quite exquisite, and the Venice Hotel is estimated to be small, so overall I feel pretty good. The breakfast is simple, but it’s ok to eat and the service is good. In short, it's a more exquisite small hotel

Everything you read about Ca’Maria Callas is true - the fantastic location, elegant rooms, helpful and friendly employees, great breakfast, and magical atmosphere created by the church bells and singing gondoliers passing by your window on the picturesque canal beneath. We arrived late so nobody was on duty at this time. However, clear instructions had kindly been sent to us via phone by Chiara so this was not a problem. We did not get the actual room I’d seen online with small balcony - but I soon realised that this was because we’d been given a newly refurbished one. This was the occasion of my 60th birthday, and thoughtful touches such as this and the complimentary gift received were both surprising and greatly appreciated. (Note: For the info of any older guests, I have been remiss in not taking photos inside, but would just point out that the bedroom of this particular room was quite dark and there was a fairly steep staircase leading to the bathroom above). The bed was extremely comfortable and WiFi very efficient, whilst the bathroom upstairs was clean, lovely and light, modern, and well equipped - and it too overlooked the canal, which I had not anticipated so this was an added bonus! Breakfasts were substantial and delicious and the waitresses warm and friendly. Unfortunately, I have mislaid the name of the young man on Reception, but he was exceptional. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble for him, and he made everything so easy when answering our questions with a smile. He also recommended a great spot for hiring a gondolier for my special birthday gondola ride, which was just perfect! This property really does have something special in my opinion - you feel instantly at home in this traditional building with its internal courtyard, downstairs door opening directly onto a canal, and warm hospitality. Despite being in the San Marco area within such easy walking distance of vaporetto stops and lively restaurants and bars, its quiet and peaceful location tucked away behind La Fenice Theatre is such that it makes you feel as if you’re in the very heart of am authentic local area of Venice!

From the moment we walked into Ninfea we experienced an exceptional level of service and accommodation. Elia’s discrete yet attentive nature facilitated a very enjoyable stay at Ninfea. Elia was so generous with his time in understanding our needs and his suggestions of a tour guide and places to dine were very much appreciated. The Rose Suite was beautifully appointed and so spacious; the provision of double bathrooms was a luxury and the hi tech shower and fireplace were highlights. A view of the adjacent canal from our window ensured an iconic Venetian a**osphere. We highly recommend Ninfea Luxury suites to those wishing to experience Venice with a five star level of service and comfort in accommodation that is a perfect blend of old and new.

I like it very much and I have recommended it to my friends. The outside of the hotel is very well-maintained, the facilities are very good, there is a very good smell in the air, the service staff is very warm, the breakfast is simple, but it is very particular, and finally eat hot bread. The palatial feel of the room decoration. The wall covering of the full house. Specially designed for Italian decoration. The single room that was occupied on the National Day, more than 800, the price is good. I also came across a wedding photo with a good mood.

From the bottom of my heart, please do not waste your money on this place. Look somewhere else. We are a family with a ten year old and 6 month old baby. Entry - pretty straight forward for us, we had a text message with instructions. Once we were in - the living area had a sofa that was pulled out into a bed for us. That’s fine. But there’s then no living area. Or room to swing a cat. Bathroom, there was mould in the shower. The most ridiculous cups for your coffee that also takes 6 years to pour. There’s no cleaning facilities like a sweeping brush so your constantly walking over natural dirt that’s been brought in from outside and having to wipe your feet before getting into bed. No cot was given to us even though one was requested through booking.com. We had high hopes from other reviews that the communication was good, however, I messaged to ask for more cups and an iron but we were left on two blue ticks on WhatsApp. Messaged for help with getting to the airport at 2am - no response. Actually they were pretty rude when they did reply. No one was seen to help us anywhere. The view was stunning once you got into the communal area, that was probably the only highlight. And that it’s right next to the waterbus stop Please spend your money on a better place so that you have a nicer experience of Venice because this place has really ruined a family trip for us.

It was an awful experience ! I have stayed to more than 600 hotels in my life and it’s the first time, I meet people that own a hotel but know nothing about hospitality and customer service!I made the reservation&sent them email informing them that I would be at the hotel late at night.I send also my flight details&my exact time of arrival .When I arrived at the hotel the first thing that the receptionist told me(later I found out that this guy was one of the owners)is that we were really late and he was waiting for us 4 hours as the reception closes 22:30.He was really hostile, arrogant and upset! It’s the first time in my life that I felt so bad in a hotel! The room was dark with no view. It was a small room ( about 20m2 ),whereas we had booked the superior room of 30m2.Generally it was an old fashioned room, with moldy smell , with no elevator so we had to carry our 2 heavy luggage 2 floors up.In our3days stay we found out that all family was rather indifferent & rude with customers !At the check out they asked us to pay 50€as an extra charge as the brother of the owner had to stay 4 hours waiting for us !!The brother which is one of the owners(not an employee!)When we denied,as we were never informed about this extra charge or never was written at the extranet of *******,they started yelling&insulting us so we were forced to pay as we were afraid they would harm us- all family came and yelling!Too bad that those people work in the tourist sector and have no idea of what hospitality&caring mean!! If you have stayed in professional and luxury hotels you will find out that people that work in this hotel , it would be better to work in field rather than in a hotel as there are not educated at all . The room was small , old fashioned and had a moldy smell . We paid 350€ per night for a shabby place ! Please do not go and stay there . You will lose your money

Once you get out of the train station, you can take the water bus. At the second stop, we dragged the suitcase and walked for 5 or 6 minutes to find the hotel. The hotel is small, but the suite has two rooms and two bathrooms, which are in line with the requirements of family or friends, and can be left alone in a single room. The hotel’s classical architecture is very comfortable and the breakfast is fully satisfying. #绝佳位置# #fully equipped#

The hotel is very confortable with air conditioning and Room No 24 was very large and had a great bathroom with shutters onto a course yard. I could have done with a long mirror in the bedroom and a few more shelves or places to put our toiletries in the bathroom. The beds were comfortable and their was a fridge with complementary water. I would recommend you take your own hairdryer, the one provided over heated and had a little power. The shower was good and they do provide shampoo and conditioner. The only problem with this room, I found although quiet through the night, the staff cupboard is right next door to it and the staff use the hallway to prepare breakfast and sort laundry so they are up and about early and wake you up. This hotel is very old and has a lot of stairs so not for the mobility challenged. Great location though and their is a good cafe round the corner for breakfast although they do offer breakfast in the hotel for 10 euro's.

This was the best place we stayed at in Italy! Really pretty and big with all the essentials you need. The room was very clean and the beds were super comfortable. The kitchen had everything including free snacks, juice, soda, water, tea, coffee and fruits. They also provide us we slippers, lotion that smells really good, bathroom essentials and other things we didn’t find in a lot of other hotels/airbnbs. The service was phenomenal and the people here are so friendly. We were presented with some welcoming gifts and lots of help during our stay. This hotel also has its own private dock which was very convenient for us to go to the train station with a booked private water taxi through the hotel. The taxi brings us right to the side in front of the station and we didn’t have to carry our luggages up the stairs and across the bridge had we gone on a public water taxi (the price is pretty close). Definitely recommend and would come back again next time in Venice!

We booked four nights and had a lovely large room, room only, overlooking canal. Large airy pleasant room. Comfortable bed. Clean good linen. Great bathroom. Hot water . All very clean and in good condition We had tea and coffee and biscuits and complimentary toiletries. All replenished. Room cleaned daily. There was a kitchen with fridge and toaster and hob etc which I assume was for general use. The arrangement is you call staff to check in if you are outside their regular slots. You need to call a mobile. Don't think front door bell was working. It's an odd arrangement trying to get hold of staff by phone especially if you don't speak Italian. But they are very helpful and obliging indeed when you manage to communicate. Would definitely recommend this as a good option for all reasons above plus its central location, and it's near San Marco. We managed to get very lost every day and Google maps don't seem to give answers so do orientate yourself

This was a fantastic place to base for our 4 nights in Venice. It was not far from the vaporetto stops and also it was easy to walk to the nearby attractions and had many food choices just south of the accommodation. Not to mention the little cafe below the building and the gelato shop. The host, Giampaulo, was always very helpful and nothing was too much trouble for him. He would always listen to me rambling with a new Italian word on each occasion he was in the front office with a cheerful smile. The room had a view of the canal right in front and was breathtakingly beautiful. The room was very comfortable and on the first night Giampaulo supplied a bottle of wine and on departing some venetian biscuits were also given to us as a thankyou. I would not hesitate to stay again as it is quite peaceful and very comfortable within walking distance of main attractions.

The location of Hotel Abbazia is very close to the train station. There were no bridges to cross in getting to the location. The breakfast was excellent. As we had only one night in Venice, being able to venture out in the morning after placing our bags in “Left luggage”, it was great to city the city and return to the hotel before catching our train. Being in the vicinity of the train station really saved the steps. We could tour the city and depart without having to backtrack. We appreciated that. It was beautiful elegance in an old abbey. My wife and I traveled to Italy for two week in October . Our trip started in Venice and we spent 4 days and 3 nights @ Ca Rialto House Hotel . The hotel in located steps away from Rialto bridge and the water taxi is located steps away form hotel front door The hotel is very old as our most things in Venice , the lobby is nice , the staff is wonderful and go out of their way to to take care of their guest Are room was on the small side , we had 2 Windows that over looked an alley , so not much of view . Room was decorated in traditional Old Italian decor , it was reallnice and I came to appreciate it more and more . We had nice bathroom , shower had lots of water pressure and hot water . The AC worked fantastic I mentioned the room ws on smaller side , but once we organized our suits cases it was more than ample space . We were out all day and if the afternoons we would come back and enjoy our room . The hotel offered a nice breakfast every morning , and there were 2 or 3 restaurants and coffee bars right outside of the front door Hotel is centrally located at rialto bridge , it is an easy walk to San Marks square and other areas of Venice . We venture to the neighborhoods across the Rialto bridge , we found lots of great restaurants and cafes with a lot less tourist . Overall we loved our stay at Ca Rialto and would definitey stay here again The also have outside deck that offers a view of the Grand Cannel , great spot to bring bottle of wine and drink on the deck and enjoy the view

An ideal location only a few minutes walk away from the Rialto Bridge our apartment was in a block not far from Hotel Ai Reali. We went there first to check in and get our key. We had a fabulous welcome from a front of house person and were given a map, some very helpful information and that was very much appreciated. We were helped with our bags to our apartment, settled in and shown where things were. It was a great way to have an additional bed without the cost of an extra hotel room. We were impressed with the lovely European styling of the apartment and excellent facilities - a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, freezer, oven, microwave. Our bins were emptied each day, we were there for 3 nights and felt safe, secure.

Before I write the hotel review, I would like to highlight to travellers that haven’t been to Venice before and perhaps aren’t aware of how the travel works to and from the airport that no cars are allowed onto the Venice island. We weren’t aware of this before we travelled and paid €90 (£80) for a taxi that drops you at the termini. You then head over a very large bridge and walk to your hotel. I would recommend that you take the bus from the airport which takes the same length of time for around €11 (£10). The buses leave the airport terminal frequently. The hotel is around a 20 minute walk from the termini. I would recommend paying the £2 roaming fees (check price with your network provider) as it would have been impossible to find the hotel without- we arrived quite late at night. We had let the hotel know that we would be arriving late and they arranged for a member of staff to be there to greet us. The hotel is small, with very few rooms, but lovely and very comfortable. Our bedroom had a balcony that looked onto the canal- not sure all rooms do, so definitely ask if this option is available as the view was beautiful in the morning. Although the room also overlooked the streets it was very quiet and we weren’t disturbed. Breakfast was tasty- it was a cold breakfast of cereal, yogurt, meats, cheese, rolls and pastries and the coffee was delicious! There are lots restaurants and bars close to the hotel. You will find that a lot of them around lunch and dinner will not serve drinks only- you will need to search out these places that will. A lot of people tend to head towards the Grand Canal for meals. You will pay extra in these places and to be honest they aren’t as nice as the cute quirky places around the side streets. There is a very small pizza/pasta place with canal side eating, close to the hotel called Al Garzoti. It’s highly rated on trip advisor and was delicious and cheap- it gets very busy so you will need to book. We didn’t take a gondola, but there are plenty of these available. If I remember rightly a 30 minute ride was around €70. We did take one of the boat trips to a couple of the neighbouring islands- I would definitely recommend seeing Burano. The colourful houses and buildings are so pretty! These boat rides are pretty reasonably priced. Enjoy your trip to Venice! :)

We spent 3 nights with my girlfriend in mid-November. We often return to this facility because it is comfortable for anyone who wants to live in Venice and elegant. The bathrooms are very comfortable and spacious enough. The only discomfort the rough stairway to get to the first floor is the discomfort to do with the baggage in hand. For the rest we recommend it to all especially to couples visiting the Serenissima.

This hotel is located in a great part of Venice that is incredibly walkable to all of the big landmarks and to so so many local restaurants. While many reviews say it is hard to find - it is not. Google walking instructions TOTALLY WORK. Look at signs on the buildings - they are small but there. The hotel e-mailed me AND WhatsApp messaged me before the stay to make sure I filled out the visitor paperwork / information they need. The hotel then e-mailed me the codes to get in to the building and our room. They do have someone on site - the house keeper is there in the morning through around 2:00 pm. There is no breakfast that we could see but we did not pay for one. The room was comfortable, the location fantastic, and we were very happy with our stay.

**A Glowing Review of Ca' Pagan Hotel in Venice** Located the heart of Venice, Ca' Pagan Hotel was an enchanting retreat that blended traditional Venetian charm with modern luxury. From the moment we stepped into the elegant foyer adorned with exquisite Murano glass chandeliers, we were transported to a world of opulence and sophistication. The accommodation at Ca' Pagan Hotel is authentic and divine. Our room was tastefully decorated in a classic Venetian style, with sumptuous fabrics, ornate furnishings, and breathtaking views of the picturesque canals. The staff at Ca' Pagan Hotel are the epitome of hospitality, providing attentive and personalized service that exceeds expectations, their genuine warmth and professionalism truly elevated our experience. They were all lovely and genuine to us from the text messages welcoming us to Venice when our plane landed, to checking when we were due to arrive so they would stay up to welcoming us in to the hotel. Breakfast was charming and tasty each morning and was a great way to start the day.

Beautifully presented, authentic little hotel right on the edge of the canal. We chose a room facing the canal and didn't regret it - when else would you get to waken up to see gondolas sail past your window from your 4 poster bed? There's still a possibility of enjoying this view if you have a city facing view as there is one table in the dining room for breakfast that allows you to overlook it while enjoying your boiled egg and toast too. Felt so pampered here with the owner even messaging me ahead of arrival as aware of dietary needs (coeliac) and having options at breakfast for me. Would definitely stay again. it is a perfect location if you want to visit the islands (Murano, Burano) as the water taxi for these is just round the corner.

Awesome place, really enjoyed the stay. The property owner was very gentle and extremely helpful to tell us about the places we must explore during our stay of 3 days 2 nights. The place is about 100m from the ferry stop named Guidecca Palanca whoch helped us to take a ferry at 3:45am in order to catch the flight at 6:25am. If we visit Venice again we are going to stay here for sure!!!

A 5 minuti da Piazza San Marco. Veloce e comodo.

This was a reasonably priced property for Venice which a friend recommended. It looked spacious and clean in the pictures. The room was small, serviceable but dark. It has a quite convenient location in the Cannaregio. The hotel suggested we hire a porter at the train station to cart our 5 pieces of luggage- big and small- as we were at the end of a four week trip. We paid him 40 euros plus a 5 euro tip to cart them upstairs to the room since there is no elevator in the building. At least that worked on the way to the hotel. On our last day we had to lug our suitcases down the slippery steps in the rain. Not fun. One of the staff made dinner reservations on Mother’s Day for us and also ordered roses for my husband to give me on my birthday. But there were other staff who didn’t know a lot of helpful tourist information like the water taxi schedule to the airport. We had to pull that information out of the young woman at night who, though very sweet, had very poor English. Why not have that schedule printed and handy for guests? The breakfast was 10 euro. They ran out of scrambled eggs, had no fresh pastry and just doughy white bread. Cappuccino good. Just ate there the first day. No tissues in the room and there was an annoying strobe light that kept going off over the door. I dislike bedspreads that others have used and prefer clean top sheets with duvets. There were a couple of holes in the sheets we had. However the room was clean with no smell. Perhaps we had one of the smaller, less interesting rooms at the inn. Some of the pictures look more spacious. Be sure to ask what you are going to get though. And remember, there is no elevator. As with many hotels, there is only someone on duty 8 am-7:30 pm. We enjoyed our stays at the hotels booked by our weeklong tour and should have searched for a comparable one more befitting of a special birthday.

Honestly, it was too hard to find a cheap and decent place, but it was nice because it was friendly and free breakfast .. ! I couldn't eat breakfast on the last day of my departure. Bari Bari ㅜㅜ impressed The location is not bad! Just in front of the room I received, there was a church paper, so I was satisfied with Venice except that the six or five in the morning were automatically elliptical. Venice is love !!

Trusting a stranger on the internet is a very laughable idea, I know—but I am one of those people who goes to Venice at least every two years for work, for a famous week in May. In total, I have been to Venice about 12 times in my life, and I've stayed at Cipriani, The Bauer and The Gritti, the list goes on... Andrea's B&B has actually been my favorite stay. Why? Andrea is a gem, beyond helpful, funny, kind and communicative. The room was spacious, clean, free of ghosts (iykyk), the bed didn't sag down to the floor, no mold in the bathroom or behind picture frames, coffee in the room, and the breakfast was insanely generous. My room was also stylishly appointed, and had mindful amenities for travelers who may have forgotten a toothbrush or a shoe-horn. The B&B is also truly and I mean TRULY, perfectly located. Everything is accessible by foot (ok maybe not Murano, but Fondamenta Nova isnt too bad of a walk). I always have to haul over to the Giardini and it took me 22 minutes, and that my friends is considered a hop, skip and a jump for Venice. I've already told Andrea that I am pre-booking for two years from now because it has been the most comfortable, nicest price, and perfectly located accommodation I've stayed in. It really makes a difference when you're in La Serenissima, which is one of the world's greatest wonders but a city with a unique logistical reality. Surely you've tuned out by now in this review, but if you haven't, and one of Andrea's rooms is available, just do it. It's such a deeply comfortable B&B.

The hotel's price/performance ratio is still very high, especially the scenery in front of the door, but it is also the hotel with the worst environment in our trip, especially the shower room and the small shower water are really inconvenient. If you care about the bathroom conditions, it is not recommended.

We stayed in these apartments in September and gave us the 9. A apartment that used the top of 7 and 8 and there they put you. A bed under a roof that you had to enter cats. A kitchen that could not cook standing. If you measure 1.60 you are certainly okay, but if you are high@, forget. A room without lift, though ll of the lifts is something normal there. But the full, is that with towels put dressing or coats, I still don't know it was. We asked for change but they said they were complete and said this, they are towels (for them).

In my 40+ years of travelling I have to say that the two nights I spent at Locanda La Corte are amongst the best nights I have ever had abroad. The property met all expectations on being an ancient 16th century building that has completely renovated and transformed into a fantastic family-owned guest house. The location is perfect; on the edge of a canal far enough away from the crowds to enjoy the beauty of Venice and the natural pace of Venetian life, but close enough to be within easy walking distance of the main tourist attractions. However, it is the staff and owner’s dedication to providing a “home away from home” that really sets Locanda La Corte apart. We pre-booked the restaurant for our first night on the basis of the previous reviews and the attraction of music. It was an excellent choice; not only was the food superb but we had our first taste of Rami’s attentiveness to his guests. He came around each table at every course to talk us through the cookery and check everything was fine. He did that in his guise as Head Chef. Later in the evening, it was apparent he was the owner, then later still he popped up as the bass guitarist to accompany Frankie, the guitarist in between all his hosting duties. Just when I thought things couldn’t’t get any better, they heard I was a musician and I was invited up to play a song with an encore between me, Rami and Frankie. Next night we the nearby pizzeria that Rami also owns. Despite the pizzeria being already packed, Rami, who had popped up in the pizzeria, greeted us like long-lost friends and squeezed in another table to accommodate us, introducing us to his wife, the waiting staff and the musician while the table was set up. The pizza here was wonderful, as was the service and the hospitality. We finished the night off back in the restaurant at Locanda La Corte, where Rami was back as chef, owner, guitarist and all-round great guy, and I was ‘dragged’ back up to play another couple of songs with the guys. This was my 4th trip to Venice but definitely not my last and when I return again there is only one place I would consider staying; my “home away from home”, Locanda La Corte.
