|0.87km from city centerJust spent 10 days at the B&B Maxim in Palermo. Great city and a wonderfully located hotel. Our room was ideal and nicely furnished. Francesca was a brilliant host. Very helpful and informative about where we could visit in Sicily. Helped us with booking tickets and nothing was too much trouble for her. Visited Cefalu by train and the Sicilia Outlet mall by bus and basically walked the city of Palermo as well as using the hop on hop off bus service. Felt safe even at night. This was our first visit to Sicily and I’m sure we will be back. I recommend the B&B Maxim as the place to stay and Ottos as the place to eat

|0.02km from city centerI had a tough time giving InCanto an average rating, because it was definitely not average. The good qualities were really great, but the bad qualities were really bad. First the good - The room was large & comfortable, located right in the middle of everything, a few steps away from the famous Four Corners. I loved the breakfast every day delivered right to our room. Lots of great places to eat and drink, and sights to see, just a short walk in every direction. Now the bad - InCanto is difficult to find, since the main entrance, the one with a sign, is inside a private building up on the 2nd floor (or 3rd floor for Americans.) There is no signage on the main streets, and only a tiny sign once you find the otherwise generic door located down an alley. I asked many locals for directions when I was only 1 -2 blocks away, and nobody had ever heard of it. The Four Corners is very close, and very LOUD. Live music starts early in the morning and continues until late at night. Well after midnight, after the music stops, people walk through the streets shouting & kicking beer bottles. It's never quiet, and you easily hear all the noise from inside the room with all the doors & windows closed. The front desk is only staffed in the morning, so when we could not find the place in the afternoon to check in, nobody was there to answer the phone. There's no elevator and no help, so be prepared to carry all of your own luggage up two flights of narrow stairs. We had a misunderstanding regarding our bill. It worked out fine in the end, but we couldn't just go to the front desk to fix it, we had to do everything online, so something that would have normally taken two minutes wind up taking half a day. Our room had a nice wood floor, but there were tiny nails sticking up through the floor. We normally don't wear shoes inside, but after having the nails tear our socks and poke the soles of our feet, we had to keep our shoes on. For me, the negatives outweighed the positives, and I would not stay here again or recommend this place to anyone else.

|0.27km from city centerAbsolute perfection. I can't find another way to describe how Massimo and Fabio took care of me and my wife in our stay in Palermo for my birthday. This B&B is in a magnificent location in Palermo city center, very close to all the main attractions, transport stations and bars and restaurants on foot. It is located inside an old building but the B&B is completely new and refurbished in one of the floors. Our room was great, very comfortable and clean, and so was the bathroom. Breakfast was a real treat, with toast, cold meats, cheese, eggs, fresh fruits, p (including Sicilian cactus figs), pastries, cereal, juice and great tasting Italian coffee. But the very best of our stay was our hosts, Massimo and Fabio who really know how to make their guests at home. Nothing is too much for them, they will recommend you nice places to visits, as well as restaurants, help with transport, etc. We hope that we can come back some day. One extra tip, the Ponticello restaurant down the corner is great and so is another place called Il Bisso, not too far from the B&B either. Fabio e Massimo, Grazie Mille!

Palermo
|1.14km from city centerThe hotel was not obvious for us - when we arrived, we drove around for about 10 minutes looking for a sign before parking on the wrong side of the road, and having to call for instructions. It was our fault, as the hotel tried contacting us earlier in the day but we did not have signal to take the call. Once we were instructed to the right place, it was super straightforward as Gianluca buzzed us in remotely, and upon verifying ID, let us into the unit and our bedroom. The lift in the building was super cool - for this experience alone I recommend staying in this hotel.
The room was charming. Our previous hotel was a suite so this felt a bit small, but it was homely all the same. The small downside was how warm it felt in the room. The air conditioning wouldn't work with the windows open, but it wasn't running very strong. At night, we preferred keeping the window open for some fresh air instead. The poster bed added a quaint and romantic feel to the room, and we were absolutely spoilt with a surprise of a bottle of Prosecco as a gift! Of course, the highlight of the whole place was the jacuzzi in the bathroom. As we both had to do some work and also were tired from a road trip, all of these little touches made the stay in this hotel incredibly luxurious for us. I really recommend this place for a romantic getaway or a honeymoon.

|0.93km from city centerLovely room and was surprised to have Tea, Coffee and Breakfast provided. As you are in centre of Palermo the road noise is a bit loud so bring some ear plugs. It's about a 10 minute walk Palermo Lolli train station there is a direct train from the Airport to this station. Trains in Sicily are slow but cheap compared to the UK. The host was very welcoming and provided a Map pointing out where to go. It's about a 5 min walk to the main area and there is a Supermarket a little further down the road. There is a Fridge in the communal Kitchen where you can keep your Wine chilled. The room was clean, comfy bed and a nice Bathroom. As in most of Italy there are stairs so if you arent so nimble be warned.

We are very comfortable to reach both the station and the city centre. Breakfast is also excellent. What I am saying is that you sleep well and there is no night noise to disturb just so much relax. Great advice on what to do and move! Thank you, Joseph, if I were to go back I wouldn't go anywhere else

|0.88km from city centerThe price is very high, the room is large and clean and tidy, and there is a balcony to see the outside scenery. It's really close to the train station. Although the external toilet is independent, the toilet is well decorated, clean and tidy. It is a type of homestay. When you come in downstairs, you may need to call to open the door remotely. The front desk will tell you where the key is. It is also very convenient to check out the next day. The fly in the ointment is that there is no elevator going up. I didn't eat breakfast, I don't know how.

|0.37km from city centerFour of us rented the entire apartment for a few days and highly recommend it! You couldn’t get a better, more central location. The apartment itself is very attractively furnished and well equipped. The private terrace is lovely to relax on over breakfast or an evening drink. Giovanni was one of the most helpful hosts we have encountered. He organised a sharing cab (€8 per person) which dropped us off and picked us up again at the door. He was generous with his time on our arrival recommending restaurants, places to go and things to do. He also checked in with us during our stay to make sure everything was ok. Top marks!

|0.5km from city center+ The location is excellent: the structure is near the central Palermo station and is about 15 minutes walk from the historic center + The owner of the structure is sympathetic and will be able to provide guests with information on the places to visit. During the stay, she offered us bottles of fresh water. The lady has a cat that loves to be dressed by the guests + I and my friend arrived in the building at 14.00. The room was already available + The rooms are spacious and air-conditioned. The beds are comfortable + The common bathroom is spacious and always kept clean. Several products for personal hygiene are available to customers + Breakfast is abundant. There are coffee, milk, fruit juices, brioches, yoghurt, bread with nutella and marmelade, cereals + Wi-Fi is excellent - The hotel is located on the second floor of a little old palace - Via Roma has been trafficed since the early morning. Traffic noises are heard even if taxes are closed - When staying, the room has never been cleaned and beds have never been re-worked

Palermo
|3.34km from city centerA luxury! We stayed three nights with my husband in this absolutely welcoming place. Much more than a B&B, almost a small luxury hotel. The spacious room (Grande Charme), with all the comforts and more... fluffy mattress and pillows, excellent quality bedding and towels, possibility of functional music, coffee maker, kettle and chocolates in the room, TV with streaming services , air conditioning. In the bathroom, quality amenities, hairdryer and iron for hair and even face lotion. We did not include breakfast for our stay but the place where it was served looked dainty and tempting. There is also a living room where you can hang out. Throughout the accommodation, the details of decoration and good taste stand out, as well as the dedication and effort they have put into making it feel very welcoming. The accommodation is located on the second floor by elevator in a building in a residential area. There is no parking available and if you drive, it takes time to find a free space on the street (as happens throughout the city), but there is a paid parking lot about two blocks away. I highlight the attention of Valeria, who kept in permanent contact with us since before check-in, advised us on walks and places to visit when we met her, super friendly and attentive. And faced with an unforeseen problem with the water on our last day (unforeseen that was not her responsibility at all), she apologized with attention to our stay. Thank you very much Valerie! ABSOLUTELY RECOMMENDED (in capital letters).

|0.58km from city centerI would give 6 stars for the comfort of the location to visit the center of Palermo and all the best tourist points, it is at the beginning of the pedestrian course. Also the rooms are large, very clean and comfortable. I would give 2 stars for the parking. Ok, it's a problem for all the city of Sicilian, Palermo in primis, but write it and give assistance because it's really a business; last thing, some rooms are above the motion, so take some ears, I had them. The staff is very friendly and available. Breakfast in the front bakery bar is nothing missing and it's all good. However, if I return to Palermo I would certainly return to sleep here

|1.01km from city centerThe Residenza Wagner is actually the 3rd floor of a residential building, configured to operate as a boutique hotel/B&B accommodation. Our room was spacious, comfortable and quiet with a large ensuite bathroom. As we arrived outside regular reception hours, we had been provided very detailed instructions for self checkin and that worked out smoothly. We also had a little balcony overlooking the lane behind the property. The location near Politeama square is advantageous (1) the airport bus (Prestia e Comande) stops 300m from the hotel, so very convenient to arrive (we flew into Palermo) and leave (our rental car pickup was from the airport as well) (2) this is an upmarket residential area, on the edge of the old town, so the Quattro Canti and historic centre are about 10 mins walk away as well. The host Francesco is friendly and warm and speaks perfect English. 2 days in Palermo were slightly short to benefit from his wealth of information about the city and its surroundings.

Palermo
|0.22km from city centerWe spent nine nights in this hotel, three (one adult and two teenagers). Our first impression: we were very disappointed with our room and we wanted to cancel the reservation to go elsewhere. The materials used for the fittings and decoration are very ”cheap” and the rooms do not have the charm that they have on the photos. The lower ones with their large colored windows (the hotel has been converted into a former theatre) have character, but their toilets are outside. Anyone can go there: it is impossible to leave the slightest personal effects there and to walk around in undress, especially since it is the entrance hall of the hotel... In any case, the room that was offered to us was not the one reserved. The noise. All of the hotel's windows are single-glazed, while the building overlooks one of Palermo's busiest avenues. Suffice to say that earplugs are not an option. For convenience - we were in the middle of July - we decided to stay there anyway. Our host, seeing us disappointed, went to great lengths to make our stay pleasant. The ”cheap” aspect was still verified several times. In use, we appreciated the immediate proximity to all the lively places and transport. There is a very well served bus stop just in front of the hotel, which allows you to reach Mondello beach in three quarters of an hour (bus 101 then 806) and to go to / from the airport by a direct shuttle. The train station is also very close; to go to Cefalù it takes a good half an hour of transport. On the other hand, do not think of going swimming in the vicinity of the hotel: the port is not at all equipped for tourism and there are only breakers apart from a tiny zone of launch. water for the boats, which is not cleaned (sea**** and shells of mussels and oysters act as a beach). Another strong point of the hotel, its agreement with the small cafe overlooking the street where you have breakfast. The managers are not fussy and have the children in good hands (long live the croissants stuffed with Nutella). Finally, we really appreciated the air conditioning, which was silent and worked day and night without the slightest difficulty. In the heat wave, it was really nice to go out in the morning, come in to cool off in the early afternoon and come out rested around 5 p.m. Since most of the places to visit are very close, it is a very practical HQ.

|0.86km from city centerThis is a beautiful, charmingly appointed boutique hotel just at the entrance to the main gate in the old city. It is practically across the street from the Cappella Palatina and within easy walking distance of all of the old town sights and close to many restaurants near the famous quattro canti intersection. The breakfast on the roof is an unbelievable way to start your day! The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. It was spotlessly clean. Smart TV has all the streaming possibilities you could want. But this place is most supremely recommended due to the amazingly helpful and incredibly efficient manager, Dante, who will make sure that everything you need is handled perfectly. Cannot rate this hotel higher.

|1km from city centerI haven't even checked out yet, but this is a great place to stay. Hosts Luigi and Gaetano are AWESOME; super friendly. My room had individual heating which came in handy as it's still technically winter. The location is FANTASTIC! It's hidden in a little piazza less than 10 minutes walk to Teatro Massimo. There are several restaurants and a sweet shop in the piazza and a Coop market across from the entrance to purchase whatever to need. I'd definitely stay here if I had another trip to Palermo. Molto grazie!

|1.08km from city centerI am so glad that I discovered this B&B back in late 2018. I had first visited Palermo in September 2018 and although I loved the room I was in, it was too small. It was located on Via Maqueda. I had planned to visit Palermo again in September 2020 but I had to cancel my trip to Italy due to the pandemic. I decided to travel to Italy again this September and I know today that I made the right decision to stay at this B&B. My mom and I had the best time in Palermo again! Of course it helps when you have a nice place to stay and this B&B exceeded my expectations. I had the largest room with the little balcony. I loved that there was a separate living room from the bedroom so you can dim the lights in one area without disturbing another in the other room. The breakfast was ok. I was given tickets/vouchers for a typical Italian breakfast at a local cafe and it was a good opportunity for me to speak Italian. Also, the staff (Alessia and Raffaele) were great! They kept in touch with me often to verify when I would arrive in Palermo from my long-distance train ride from Napoli. This B&B does not have 24 hour service. This did not concern me. Also, I loved the location of this B&B. It was easy to get to Via Roma and for me to visit the various eateries and shops that were nearby that I wanted to visit. I have wonderful memories of my second stay in Palermo and I certainly would recommend this B&B to all my friends and family. If I am so fortunate to be in Palermo again, I will choose this place.

|2.39km from city centerWe spent a week in Palermo between sea art and food, staying in this building ... What to say? I couldn't be satisfied more than my choice. A list of all the strengths of the structure: very large and modern rooms and bathrooms; Impeccable cleaning (no.b. is a matter which I am very careful and always checking the details and memory, (it is one of the best absolutely because of cleaning) The bathroom, not only is very wide and always very clean, but with its opaque black finishes, the marble floor, a wide mirror and a ” walkable” shower is a real luxury; Breakfast, which comes directly from the bar, is very good (to try the mandel cornet that is really a delicious; very good also the cappuccino and eggs); The owner is always available for advice, instructions, suggestions of all kinds (food, beaches, restaurants, bar ... etc.) There are various comforts available, such as: very pleasant bath products with different fragrances, coffee machine, water boiler; microwave; fridge bar; grubbles; double couchs; desktop; so much space to support all your own things ... etc. Central location in a very safe and quiet area, but at the same time near all the main points of interest in the city (The first-impact palace may seem a little stable in the 1970s, but don't let you suggest, once you enter the Apartments is all very new). One suggestion: Maybe there is a double take next to bed to make it easier to put the cell phones in charge during the night.

|1.16km from city centerIn fact, it is more like a homestay. There are four rooms with independent bathrooms and a shared kitchen on the first and fifth floors (equivalent to the second and sixth floors in China). The so-called breakfast is just ready-made small bread, tea bags and coffee bags. , willing to cook here is the best choice, and the location is also great. It is less than ten minutes walk to the Central Railway Station, where you can take the airport bus for 6 euros an hour to the airport.
It may be a problem with the communication between Ctrip and the homestay. In fact, each person has to pay 1.5 euros of tax per day, but the homestay also charges a cleaning fee of 10 euros per day. This is because the official website of Ctrip did not publicize or the owner of the homestay did not inform Ctrip in advance. It is recommended that all expenses be paid Included in the room price for guests to choose.
