it was good stay with great ambience, but there is no room service for tea even for water as well. you have to fill your water bottle from water cooler which they doesn't have on every floor.
Not good for elders, toddler and pregnant lady as you have to mount a clif which is very difficult. sufficient bulb/light was not in the room.

Great hotel in an ideal location within walking distance of the Parmarth Niketan Ashram and Aarti, plus other temples, ashrams, cafes and shopping area. Lovely, helpful staff and clean rooms.
Pros: Super-friendly welcome and service from highly responsive and attentive staff. Clean, comfy rooms with nice toiletries. Wonderful roof terrace with views across the mountains and the Ganges. Tasty, well-cooked food and good menu options in the rooftop restaurant.
Cons: Weak Wi-Fi, continually dropping connection. Coffee machine broken, so no freshly brewed coffee at breakfast (only powdered Nescafe). Ask for hot water so you can make an international style coffee. Limited breakfast choices for international guests. If you’re not keen on an Indian-style breakfast, there’s only white ‘air’ bread toast, jam, fruit, curd, cereal (no cold milk). No egg options (this might be due to religious reasons).
Suggestion for management: fix your coffee machine or add a hot water urn. It would be great to include a more nutritious brown bread option, honey and a few sealed bananas at breakfast when you have international guests staying.FromSGD 60

Location: next to laxman jhula (which is not operational) and right across the river from trimbakeshwar temple. The temple is well lit which is a beautiful sight at night from all rooms. How to reach: you can easily get a sharing auto from all major spots like nepali farm, ram jhula, triveni ghat etc. Which will drop you on main road. If you have heavy luggage, take a personal auto/scooty and go further down the main road. This route is longer but accessible by vehicles. If you have light luggage, take the market road. Market road has stairs but is a shorter route (5-7 mins walk, full of cafes and shops. From the hotel's main gate if you go right, you'll reach sai ghat in 3-4 mins. If you go left t you'll reach laxman jhula market which ultimately leads to the main road. Room: i booked a standard room. It wasn't fancy but just sufficient for 2 people with minimal luggage. View was breathtaking. I saw their other rooms too and they were even more gorgeous! food: the in-house restaurant food was good. We tried egg fried rice, sandwich, paratha, chai in room service, didn't visit the restaurant. Quantities can be a lot so check before ordering. Other services: they offer spa services in hotel ishan which is adjacent to kunwar residency (both hotels are a part of salvus. They also helped us book a rafting service which asked for 620 per person for 12km stretch and settled for 450 per person. But the experience wasn't great, so wouldn't recommend. Staff: we were attended by tarun who was a very pleasant, friendly and helpful person. He offered to keep our luggage in hotel premises after we checked out as our return bus was at midnight. I stayed in this hotel in June,2024 and found it to be good experience. Hotel staff were good and supportive.. Rooms were quiet spacious with clean washrooms. This hotel is close to Triveni ghat which is just 700 mt to 1 km walk in distance.. I faced problem in traveling from hotel to Ram Jhula , Laxman Jhula and return from these areas because of heavy traffic ...The distance from hotel to Janki Jhula is approx .3 km but travelling took more than an hour because of traffic.FromSGD 33

The property is nice but the location isn’t that great. If location is important to you please choose gostops Tapovan. This one’s surroundings aren’t quite clean from outside nor is it v reachable. The staff is very nice and helpful though. I ended up forgetting some of my belongings at the room which they safely kept and handed over to the courier guy two days after my stay. The rooms and washrooms are clean with good space, spacious terrace and common rooms. Overall, i had a great stay at devbhoomi hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, with all the amenities i needed, including wi-fi, a tv, and air conditioning. The restaurant was also good, with a variety of delicious options to choose from. However, the intercom was not working during my stay. This was a minor inconvenience, as i had to go downstairs to the front desk to request anything i needed. However, the staff was very friendly and helpful, so it was not a major issue. In this small town, this hotel is the highest end, safe, complete facilities, the view of the Ganges River is very beautiful, close to the Ganges Festival in the evening, breakfast is printed, no special, mainly clean! I stayed for two days, breakfast and dinner are here, I have not pulled my stomach, the service is very good, the service staff is super enthusiastic. The speed of wifi is average. The fourth floor I live in is only a little faster than the mobile phone signal. The speed in the lobby is OK, but the overall speed of India is not high.FromSGD 104

Overall hotel was good, the experience was more of an airbnb rather than hotel, definitely not value for money considering the cost associated. Also, the restaurant had amazing food but limited menu. Vicinity is poor, its difficult to walk to any nearby places, ganga ghat was very far away and not within hotel, which is a major disappointment, overall a good experience but won’t be interested to book the hotel again because of above said reasons.FromSGD 191

Excellent stay on the outskirts of Rishikesh. The resort has a wonderful mountain view with huel river at the front. Staff and service is beyond par.
