Sultan Ahmed Mosque Istanbul|0.36km from city center
Seven Hills Palace & Spa is a wonderful hotel! The service is personal and attentive, and the facilities are very beautiful. We booked a Deluxe Sea View room overlooking the Bosphorous and the outdoor pool on the ground floor, which was very nice. They also have a sauna and steam room available to guests at no charge for 30 minutes each day. Do remember to pre-book. The restaurant on the property is called Vitale and you will not get a better meal in Istanbul! The breakfast is also expansive and includes traditional Turkish breakfast dishes. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that I feel the hotel is a bit over-priced for the accommodations. Our room was quite small and I had hoped for a balcony after paying a lot more for a Deluxe Sea View room. We stayed at another hotel in Istanbul that was half the price with same level of service and arguably better facilities, and also closer to the attractions in Sultanahmet. Again, I cannot fault Seven Hills for anything during our stay, but the price is very high considering the facilities.

The hotel location and accessibility to the old town are enormous. But the noise from the hallway is not soundproof at all. And the hotel staff didn't solve the request to call a taxi, so I waited for an hour and solved the transportation by myself.

Very bad reception staff and they do not respect the traveler, neither at reception nor at departure, when they call you in the room for departure time , they speak in the form of an order, and most importantly when the call ends, they hang up without a word.

The hotel is a little old, but the service is really good. We booked room No. 4. We arrived at the hotel in the early morning of the 4th. The front desk saw that we were tired and let us check in. The room was cleaned every day and our scattered luggage was packed very well. I will definitely book this hotel again when I come to Istanbul again

Kadikoy Istanbul|4.15km from city center
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, could not have asked for better. The staff took good care of us, all were very friendly and helpful. Our room had a view of the Sea of Marmara, Kadikoy, Harem station and the European side including Topkapi palace. - simply fantastic. The room was clean, and practical and large enough for three adults to move around comfortably. The beds were comfortable and suitable for our very tall family! The pool on the roof was small (there’s also a larger indoor pool), but a welcoming feature to allow you to unwind after a long day of sight seeing or just to spend some time sunbathing and cooling off (again, the views were amazing). Breakfast was excellent, everything you could possibly want was on offer, but I have to say that the omelettes needed a little work, they were on the dry side. Other than that all the food was top quality. The location is probably the best part about this hotel, it’s away from the hustle and bustle of the European side, but has excellent access to the metro, taxis, ferries, buses, dolmus’s and even a tram. You can be in the thick of sight seeing in a matter of 15-20 minutes by ferry! The price was also reasonable, so much so that there is little point in staying at the more expensive hotels on the European side - it just makes sense to stay here! Overall, loved this hotel and hopefully will be staying here again. Thanks DT Hilton team for making our stay a great one.

We enjoyed our stay at the Conrad Bosphorus. Beds were very comfortable and we had very good sleep. Amenities are good, toiletries by Byredo. Very good breakfast spread. While the location offers amazing views of the Bosphorus Strait, we found it quite difficult to get a taxi in this location. Otherwise no major complaints.

Holiday Inn Istanbul City, an exceptional hotel, IHG Group! We stayed there in June 2022, 9 days! ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS reception staff!!! We received, as it was my birthday, a business room of 55 square meters! With living room, bedroom, exceptional! Pool view! Also, the cleanliness is 100%! Very good location, right in the tram station, which has a separate line, so transport is not limited by road congestion. A bit disturbing is the fact that, sometimes, we had to leave the pool at 3 or 4 p.m. because sometimes they had wedding parties organized in the pool area. But these parties are very nice, not disturbing, because at 11 pm they were over. It is very easy to reach Florya beach, in approx. 30 minutes by MetroBus. We recommend!

I stayed at this hotel for 4 days during my quick holiday in Istanbul. Here is my first impression: What I liked: - good location. close to the city center and close to the public transport - good breakfast - the hotel has a pool and a sauna in the basement - the hotel is very clean and the service is good. What I didn't like: - the Wifi network is a complete disaster. If you stay at this hotel, you can simply forget about internet. The speen was so horrendously slow that I gave up and went to nearby restaurants to use the wifi - the bed wasn't confortable. The mattress is bouncing too much. - the pool has so much chlorine that you can't swim for more than 1-2 min.

I would say all the price is for the location near sultanahmet & the tram station nearby. The property looks outdated and the rooms are not so well kept or equipped. Actual rooms differ from the what are shown during the booking process. The hotel have got centralised air conditioned system managed by the hotel management. During our visit we had to ask them to provide us with a fan as the room was super hot and suffocating due to central heating. The bathroom was clean but the sink was small and had drainage issues. Beds were comfortable and the linen were clean. Room service need to be a little pro active as I asked to be provided 2 water bottles to keep my fast which were never provided. I don’t think I’d chose to stay there again for the price provided.

I enjoyed staying in this hotel. Pluses: - comfortable big rooms; - perfect location - next to Istiklal famous street and Taksim square is just 10 minutes walk; a lot of restaurants, shops around; 5 minutes walk to Galata tower; - very good service; - ok breakfast (selection could be better) - but service is amazing. Attentive and fast. Special thanks to Eren - surprised with very good service. Please keep him. - 18th floor have amazing restaurant with city view; - ok small gym; - nice outdoor pool. Minuses: - amenties sometimes have some issues - like windows lockers, lights. Before rooms are given to clients - would recommend to check. In general would recommend and i would be back.

We stayed here as a family and chose the hotel due to its location and also the Hilton brand. Every aspect and element of our stay was outstanding; from the welcome and check in process, the concierge, housekeeping, catering and reception desk - all outstanding and so detailed in the service they give to hosts. We particularly liked this hotel because whilst it's located in the old down district, it's amenities are highly modern, crisp and contemporary. We really enjoyed dining on the roof top terrace, adorned with an array of beautiful flowers and a cosmopolitan vibe. On Friday evenings the live music performance by a guitarist and singer made for a lovely dining experience complemented with delicious food (the tiramasu was one of the best I've ever had!). Our particular thanks to Gonca and the breakfast team for going out of their way to make us very well looked after and adorning our baby with love and lots of attention. We will most certainly return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Istanbul - you will be very pleased

Being a vegetarian I was a bit sceptical abt getting good food in Istanbul. But chef Oguz and Emraan Erkon as well as chef Serkan made sure I tasted delicious Turkish vegetarian meals as well as delights which was so lovingly served by their team Selcuk, Bekay, Umat and Aleena . Super super kitchen team backed by happy motivated servers and supervisors. Cansin from front office team also was very helpful. The hotel is so close to taksim square and all tram, metro and boat stations for tourist attraction spots . Elegant hotel with super comfortable rooms and a great home away from home !!! The hotel is well located in the face of Taxim Square. A walking distance to many restaurants, taxi services, shopping, a superb garden for relaxation many more. Turkish people are very nice, welcoming but most of them do not speak proper English so sometimes is it difficult to obtain explanations. The food is great and all shops and restaurants are open 24 hours. As regards to Taxim Square Hotel, it is a very expensive hotel for what it is. However, its location can justify the highly priced room rates. Breakfast was ok, not too many choices but enough to enjoy.

Sometimes it takes one interaction to ruin something and well my experience at this hotel took same turn. I had booked a corner room facing the Bosphorus through American Express. When I arrived, I asked for a room with two twin beds and the receptionist very rudely said he was certain my booking came through Expedia and that he was certain Expedia explains those rooms don’t have twin bed options and “it is your responsibility to pay attention!” I explained to him that American Express might book through Expedia but regardless the American Express booking page did not say king beds were the only option. He kept insisting that I booked through Expedia and the only option I had was to go with a room facing the city or pay extra for an upgrade. Even though I payed for the more expensive view, I ended up with the view facing the city. I later checked with booking.com and as a matter of fact they do offer corner room with twin beds facing the Bosphorus! You know so many times you check in hotels and out of curtesy they offer you an upgrade when a mistake is made but not here! The guy had to prove he was right and was very rude about it!

We were in Istanbul 4 nights in February. It was completely accidental to discover this hotel, although I have not been in Istanbul for the first time and all hotels about I know. Plus: 1. Location on Taksim Square. Metro, bus, furnishers, shops, food - all in 2 minutes walk. 2. View from the window. We had an angle improved room for two and the whole area was clear in front of us. Even the Bosphorus bridge was a little visible. 3. Breakfast with Istanbul view. Breakfast and tea/coffee for choice. Satisfactory, fast. 8 to 10. 4. Cleaning. Ideal cleaning when every little thing is thought out. Even the safe was opened after former guests (yes, I observe it is rare). 5. Staff. Helped to get his code, tied it to the transport card. Not every hotel does it too quickly. Small minus: Rooms are small, single beds are narrow (80 cm), and the mattress is very tough and strong on the amateur.

We were 4 couples and we booked 4 premium rooms but at the check-in we were surprised with literally the smallest rooms u can ever get where u wont find a place for the bags. So we went to talk about the rooms but they said there are no rooms and then the rudest manager came and told us to leave if we weren’t happy with those rooms. After a small fight he promised to change 2 rooms tomorrow and the other 2 rooms after tomorrow but as usual he lied cz he told us the next day that there is only one available room so we gave it to our friend and after another day they gave us the rest. One more bad thing is that we found only one towel and when we asked for another one they said there isnt and one is enough so we had to take a bath and use one🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️One day they didn’t even put toilet paper so i had to call them and ask for one and of course ask for another towel since we are two. To be fair, this hotel has a very good location but needs a new management asap. Believe me it literally sucks! Never book there

My friend and i came from overseas for health tourism and our travel agent booked Taksim View Hotel (they also call themselves View Hotel Istanbul) for 4 nights for us. From the moment we arrived my friend told me that the owner at the reception made her feel uneasy and i told my friend no you are just tired because of the long plane journey. We came to our room on level 1 and the owner opened the door for us. he handed my friend one key card/ door access card and then we asked for our 2nd key card as we have paid for two people not for one person. The owner started making up storied that the last person has not returned the other key card and he will give us the spare one tomorrow. We looked around the room, it was dirty with food and tea stains on the tables, hair in the basin and shower floor. We kept asking for the 2nd card everyday and he just made up stories that he will bring it to our room and never did. We started missing our dirty underwear in our room and when he was at the reception he kept saying we need to access to our room for upgrades and what not. Also we became friend with another solo travelling in the area and he was helping us with navigating and becoming familiar with the area. During our stay my friend and i had both gone through extensive teeth procedure and were not doing so well. Our new friend came to watch over us for a bit as we were in pain and needed assistance. Our poor friend got stuck on the streets of Taksim as it was women international day and taksim square streets/roads were closed that evening due to protest for international women day. After he had passed many check point our friend got to our hotel to keep an eye on us and once the road closers outside were removed he would go back to his hotel as police had closed and blocked every access point to the city centre and taksim square and the Taksim Came. Suddenly the owner of the hotel started ringing our room phone and getting all rude and disrespectful that your friend has to leave right now or i will charge you for 3 people. I told him look outside the reception door and you can see all the police cars and ambulance , protesters and the blocked roads. And once it clear our friend will go to his hotel in Cahangir safely. The owner started being very disrespectful and screaming on the phone and I said look its 11:30pm and its not right the way his treating the guest just because we are female tourist in a foreign country. We told him please stop calling and our friend is going to leave in the next 15 minutes. He hanged up and came up to our room banging on our door at 11:45pm shouting open the door. With the owner screaming and banging on our door at 11:45pm at night he almost gave my female friend who was sleeping after her teeth surgery. The owner started and fighting and then kicked our friend out of the hotel during this unsafe environment out side. Please do not stay at this unsafe, dirty, unprofessional, extremely noisy and expensive hotel(mor

The interior design of the hotel is okay, but the urban landscape with windows is a very exaggerated building. The waiter said that the government did not want to spend money to renovate, and their hotel was also renovated (the implication is that?) The elevator was broken during the stay. N times, even though I live on the first floor (the so-called second floor), it still feels pretty bad that I can’t get up and down. The breakfast was very average, it was the most common breakfast during this trip. The view of the sea view room should be the last picture, but the floor is not high and you should not see anything. This was taken in the restaurant.

This hotel is bang right on Taksim square so you are in the middle of all the action the moment you step out of the hotel. If this is what you want then the location of this hotel is perfect. The lobby area is very quaint and well done up and the service at the front office is very good. The rooms are a little small especially since we had an extra bed put in for our daughter, however, this is a city hotel and you cant expect them to have large rooms. The rooms facing the Taksim square can get very noisy thru the day and night because there is a lot of people movement outside. This got actually quite bad over the weekend when everyone was out partying till late and we really had a problem getting to sleep. However, you do have a choice of choosing a room overlooking the by lanes which are not noisy and quite peaceful. Loads of things to do just a short walk out of the hotel - loads of restaurants, street performers, street food, shopping etc. The very famous 'Istiklal street' is just a 2 - 3 minutes walk from the hotel.

Due to system error my room was booked twice, I immediately within 2 minutes requested hotel not to charge me cancellation as this was due to network error as directed by agoda team. The manager tole me he will look at it and revert. The attitude was cold and he was more interested to tell me it was non-refundable rate and he will have to charge me. I had informed them within 2 min and requested them to see rooms to someone else. On the day of check i. i had realised that hotel was sold out and they have sold my room. He didnt event refund my money but made extra money by selling rooms. I requested for late check out till 1 pm next day. He was busy explaining me hotel policy of check out time of 12noon. The hotel is difficult to find, so you should best choose the arrival with a taxi to guide yourself for the first time. A taxi for the route between Istanbul New Airport and the hotel costs about 180 - 200 Turkish lira, which is about 30 Euro. The location is just a few minutes walk near the taxi place, but you need to walk a few steps to get to the hotel. This should be taken into account especially when you carry baggage or have a baby car with it. Just a few meters away a muezzin calls for prayer five times a day. The first time is already at 3.40 hour at night, which can be heard very loud in the room. This should be known so you don't wake up horrified at the first time. The hotel itself is clean and maintained. A very large plus point is the small but very fine and delicious breakfast, daily from 8.30 - 10.30 clock. There is a selection of toasts, breads, musli and various lifts (sweet and hearty). Two types of sauce, roasting and crochet are also available every morning, including two types of cheese and tomatoes, curk and fresh herbs. Tea is available as well as different juices and milk. The staff at breakfast is restraintful but nice. The receptionist himself is a little overtaken, sometimes is less. We would choose another hotel when we visit Istanbul as the rooms were so bright that you understand every word from the room neighbor and also the TV. It was too noisy at night.

First of all, the location is super good, two steps to Independence Square. If you want to see how busy Istiklal Street is at 12 midnight? Just live here. Don't worry, it's very quiet here. Secondly, the clerk was very helpful and provided a lot of help, and everyone had a good chat. It seems that the guy at the front desk likes sports,,, again, this is also a Japanese cultural exchange place in Istanbul, and all the decorations are very Japanese. Finally, very cheap. Simply excellent value for money. It is highly recommended that you stay in such a small and fresh Japanese-style hotel on the noisy Independence Street. Having said that someone mentioned that the elevator is very narrow, I would say that the elevator is cool, and it is great to have an elevator in the accommodation here. . .
