This is a hotel that impressed us during our trip to India. The service was very attentive, although it only lasted for one night. We went to TAKE A BOATRUDE FOR CEREMONY at 5:15 in the morning. The hotel arranged a boatman and waiter on time to guide us on the boat, and prepared the blanket very thoughtfully. It is hard to imagine how cold we would be without the blanket. Then we went to breakfast. A waiter provided us with services. Usually they started the meal at 7 am, but because we left the hotel at 7 am, they prepared some hot meals in advance, and they were very warm. Then on time, the boatman and PORTER took us on board and went to Baiqiao to meet our driver. They didn't leave until they put the boxes in the car. The key point came, the driver whispered, the hotel front desk started to call him at 5 o'clock in the morning, and constantly reminded him that he must wait for us early, for fear that we were delayed or could not find him. In fact, we didn't tell the hotel in advance, we needed them to remind the driver and so on. We just told the front desk that we were departing at 10 o'clock and we needed to depart from the hotel at 7 o'clock. Makes the hotel more nervous than us, afraid of being late and so on. The meticulous and perfect service exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend this hotel, BRIRAMA PALACE VARANASI, WONDERFUL HOTEL!

Nice place to stay in the bustling city of Varanasi, hotel is clean and all necessary amenities provide an excellent place to take a rest from the city that is pretty crazy. It is about four kilometers from the river Ganges. Breakfast is fine but not very extended, meals for dinner were good price wise. The only issue we had was the way too loud noise of the air ventilation in the shower that took a lot of drama before it was turned off, a request that I had to repeat three out of four nights. Overall I would recommend this place though, it's professional and decent and an oasis compared to what you'll encounter once you get onto the streets.

I’m a solo traveler who has been to many different places in India, and I can highly recommend this hostel for your next stay. The staff here is very helpful with everything you need. The rooms are very nice, and the air conditioning works properly. The bathroom in our room was cleaned by the staff every day. I enjoyed the food here so much that I ate here every day. The hostel also has an app through which you can order food and beverages and open the door to your room. I liked it so much that I’ve also booked stays in Rishikesh and Jaipur with the same brand, as I hope they are just as good as this one in Varanasi.

The hotel is safer in the army area. The front desk was a bit cold, probably too busy. Breakfast is OK, mostly in India, and less in Western style. The room is small, the twin bed is to take apart the big bed that has been put together, resulting in a bed that is very awkward and sleeps at the door. The hotel is a bit far from the altar. Varanasi is the world of tutu cars and rickshaws. There are a lot of tutu cars at the door, and it is convenient to go anywhere. Tutu driver Reis is very good, my friend and I have been packing his car. The cost is about 1000-1500 rupees a day, depending on how far you go, you can bargain. The surrounding environment of the hotel is as dirty and messy as other cities in India, and the traffic jam is also serious. The hotel was very average, and they have recently done new construction, but no attention has been given to ventilation. The washroom did not have dental kits or other basic amenities, and even after requesting, room service was not provided, despite us staying there for two days. I couldn’t understand the staff’s behavior, as they would simply ignore requests for certain items. Considering the price they are charging, it’s not worth it.

It is the owner and the clerk who are too friendly to the facilities. The shared space that can be used freely was too comfortable to immerse in. You can order food and it's very delicious. Excellent service and support. Great location, near the main ghat. This is a guest house, not a hotel. So you have to be prepared to stay with minimal amenities. But it is enough for a spiritual tour. The owner is was very helpful and took care of me well. He is always reachable when you need help. This whole place are full of stairs and you have to be prepared to walk up and down the stairs. It is also away from the main road just like all other guesthouses near the ghat.

Property’s property is OK, but be prepared to listen to Islamic prayers morning and evening. The rooms are much smaller than what is advertised. We had booked 3 rooms, they did not change the bed sheets pillow covers and duvet covers. After repeated reminders and lot of delay they freshened the room. Staff is courteous but the service was very slow.

1) shower very weak. 2) it is mostly used for marriage functions. People in celebratory mood rarely care about other room occupants. They create a din in the corridor even as you are trying to sleep. 3) power breakdowns were rather frequent albeit for small durations. 4) traffic to and from varanasi city was terrible. Property is on the outskirts. 5) front office staff requires training. 6) was promised a bill adjustment as one guest couldn't make it due to a medical emergency. Was told that the amount billed and paid for will be adjusted against food charges of restaurant. On checking out this wasn't done as the person in-charge - the front office manager (mr prateek) - wouldn't accept calls if only to apologise. I paid for fooding. 7) restaurant staff led by mr pramod was excellent, very courteous, accommodating and efficient. Food was good.
