Location was nice - very close to night market .
The Hotel itself looked pretty old with old carpets and strange smell. There was no internet on Sunday and I was not sure if they were not able to repair on sundays or if this was normal on Sunday.
The Pool was unfortunately really green and I did not dare to go in .

I booked 3 nights in this hotel. The staff was friendly and helped me to book van, taxi and tuk tuk. I felt safe here as a female solo traveller. I got a room in the back so my view was houses of local people which didn't allow me to open the curtain even when I was in the 4th floor. The breakfast was not included so I paid for it. I don't think it was really good for such price. So, next days went to a luxurious hotel and paid for breakfast there for the same price. Ibis should have breakfast included for the amount of money they charge. I always stay at Ibis but I feel that out of Europe, Ibis is just a ”ok basic hotel”. Only in Europe I felt the breakfast was decent. Anyways, hot water, internet, soap and security box were provided. Staff could speak English and they accept card payments. We had many difficulties at this hotel.
What was good: the rooms were clean, despite many negative comments regarding cleanliness. We had all necessary things in the bathroom, hot water, etc. The aircon in the room worked fine and the beds were comfortable to sleep on.
Breakfast is quite average and not much food for Western people. There are some things to eat such as fruits, yogurt, cereal, eggs but everything else are Asian food.
What was bad:
- Check-in was an absolute mess. The reception area looks like a ghost town with only one person checking in guests on a Saturday. We waited very long to be helped.
Finally, after long waiting time we reach the room to see that someone else already occupies the room. Due to a severe lack of English from the receptionist, we explained there is someone staying in the room and that we need a different room. He nodded that he understood and typed on his computer, scan a new room key but gave the same room number three times. So three times we had to explain that we need a COMPLETE DIFFERENT ROOM since there are already guests inside. This took very long. We got a new room finally but it was a twin room and not the type of room we booked.
- No sound proof walls, we can hear our neighbor coughing in his room at night
- The gym is not functional at all. So many broken machines that we were not able to use the gym during our stay. There is also no air conditioner in the gym even for when it’s maintained better.
- The elevator buttons are not working properly, the button to close the elevator door doesn’t work at all.
Generally this hotel has the potential to be much better. Management seriously needs to improve these shortcomings.SOLD OUT

I was incredibly impressed with the service even before I arrived. I had contacted the hotel beforehand to request an iron for my arrival day, and they assured me they would take care of it.
Upon arrival, every single staff member made a wonderful impression. They were all cheerful, kind, and spoke very politely.
The hotel was spotless, and our room was incredibly spacious. The towels were fragrant, the bed was super comfy, and the bathroom was also a good size. All the in-room amenities were provided.
The only minor feedback is that the hairdryer wasn't very powerful. On a different note, they did provide the iron I had requested, but I unfortunately broke their ironing board. I offered to pay for the damage, but the hotel staff graciously told me not to worry and didn't charge me anything. Their generosity was truly touching, and I sincerely apologize for the accident.
For breakfast, even though the variety wasn't extensive, my friend and I particularly enjoyed the rice-based soup/porridge dish; it was delicious.
All in all, I was very happy with my stay. I would absolutely choose this hotel again if I come back.FromVND 562,860

The Mekong River is just outside the hotel, and it is very close to the Mekong Night Market. Turn left and walk for 5 minutes. The environment is very good, the hotel is not big, it is small but exquisite. The family triple room is very large, and three adults will not feel crowded. The room is also equipped with a power strip with a USB port, which is really considerate.
Breakfast is a set meal, and you can order anything on the menu without restrictions. However, after two days of eating, the noodles are the best 😂 The salad and bread are also OK, and the others are really average, anyway, they are not to our family's taste, and the coffee is also average.

フランス時代のレトロホテルがあればーとレトロが好きなのでこちらを予約。かなり綺麗なのでフランス時代の建物ではないかもだけど、パトゥーサイの近くに泊まりたかったのも選んだ理由の一つです。フランス時代古いガチ系なら三千円台でもいいかなーと思ってましたが、下調べで物価も安いし治安もちょっと気をつけろレベルとのことでしたので、安すぎる宿はやばいかなと、少し高めのこちらに。
昼間は藤井聡太くん似の優しそうだけどテキパキしたスタッフが対応してくれました。
予約時のリクエストも確認済みで、少しパトゥーサイの見える上の方の3階？上から二番目でした。
シンク等はアメリカンなんちゃら〜のやつで、それ以外の設備も日本メーカーだったりで安心感がありました。
流しやシャワーの詰まりもなかった。
シンプルだけど朝食付きで6千円台なら文句なしな感じ。
ただ、私の出国が23時台だったので
チェックアウト後に荷物を預けて、可能であればスパか空き部屋のシャワーを借りたいと思ってました。
レイトチェックアウトが特典についてたので14時チェックアウトにして。
フロントの藤井聡太くん似の彼に朝食後に伝えると次のカスタマーがくるとのこと。
私はチェックアウトまで外出して戻って荷造りしてシャワーを浴びる予定でしたが、

彼にお詫びのお菓子渡したけど苦笑いでした、、、
（因みに箱入りの千円以下のちょっとちゃんとしたやつ。でもホテル玄関のスタッフに抹茶のキットカットをお土産であげたんですが日本だと3、400円なのにラオスはショッピングモールで千円しててびっくりした）
荷物を預けてまた外出して、夜に戻ると別の30代から40代くらいの男性スタッフに変わってました。
藤井聡太くんがシャワーを借りるのにいくらか支払うと言ったらOKしてくれたのですが、金額がまだわからないとのことで、この人に聞いたら、この人もわからんとのこと。
でも藤井聡太くんが夜の人に聞いてってゆってたというと、夜のスタッフは50？といったように思ったので
その時私は5万キップ（500円弱）でいいのか！やす！と思いつつ、
空き部屋の2階の部屋に通してくれました。
シャワーを浴びてる最中、支払額のやり取りの際に
スタッフが （シャワーを使ったら）掃除をしないといけないから〜 と言ってたのでもしかして15やったんかな！？
私の勘違い！？
六千円以上するホテルなので2千円程シャワー代に残してて。やっぱり15万（千五百円ほど）かなと
15万渡すと多すぎ、とのこと。10万でも多いと。
5万でよかったみたい。お釣りないとのことでしたが、その人が探しに行ってる間に、わたしの手持ちにあったので五万キップでいけました。でも本当は15万のような気が、、、（私の英語力がそんなになのでいつもは電卓で確認して交渉してる）安くなったからいいけど。
で、タクシーも呼んでくれるとのことで
頼んで、少しチップを渡しました。
アプリ（安い）で呼んだっぽくて、いくらかゆわれたんですが、よく聞き取れなくて ？って顔してると100（10万キップ）でいいって言ってくれました。また結局安くなった感じ
このスタッフさんは普通にタクシーとかの人らと変わらん感じなのか、値切れてるっぽくてもやもやしました笑
まぁ安いのでいいんですが。
アプリなので普通のうーばー的な感じでしたが、支払いはドライバーに渡しました。スタッフさんが後でいくらかもらったのかは謎。
因みに空港からはタクシーの受付で130万ちょいだったので
帰りはそれより安いのは分かってましたかまだ100万キップならそこそこ安いのかなと言った感じ。アプリなら本当はもっと安いかもですが、、、
そこらへんはなんかモヤモヤしましたが、金額が知れてるのと
とりあえずちゃんと対応してくれたので良いです。
ホテルからの観光は、歩いて直ぐにパトゥーサイがあるのでそこでトゥクトゥクが拾えます。ただ、公園の手前でポツンと路上で休んでる人とか少し外れた場所の方がいいかも。公園の中のメイン的な人らはいくら？って聞いたらかなりぼったくり価格だったので交渉すらする気にならなかった。（数百円の距離を千円以上でゆってくる）
あと備品は水、シャンプー、ボディーソープはOKなレベル。普段シャンプー類は持参のものを使うのですが手洗い石鹸は今回使わせてもらったら、あまり泡立たなかったので参考までに。
ベットは結構高さがあるので背の低い人や車椅子の人は乗るのが大変かも。椅子も高かったような、、、

This is my first time staying at this hotel. The receptionist was very nice. Since I arrived early, I asked and asked to check in early. The hotel is nice but the price performance ratio is rather on the low side. The room I booked was spacious, the furnishings a bit worn off. It seemed clean on the first look, until you found a rather thick dust film inside the wardrobes. The room was quiet, the water pressure acceptable and the bed comfortable but a bit squeeky.
