I have been in this hotel jollie ville luxor it's amazing hotel and all the staff is friendly so much start from reception with nice welcoming and smiley faces.and room is so clean and nice view and restaurants also is so nice and tasty food spiceal the Italian restaurant with a lot of items and all is tasty and of course when you are in hotel near the Nile so have to try the Nile fishing trip in early morning is magice time And also the sunset by birds sound in the special area in hotel it's wow .and at last but not the end would like to say a huge thanks for the entertainment team for a nice performance at night and day during all my stay the are coming to us to ask if we have any problems in our stay and the make us as important guest and I see this always with them they are doing that with all the guests around. The Iberotel Luxor is in an excellent location overlooking the Nile (and 15 minutes from the train/bus station). Am so happy I chose to stay here. The Nile facing room is well worth the slightly higher price. My room was a good size with a fridge, lots of closet space, two arm chairs and a table. Only minus was that the sockets are oddly far from the bed. The balcony is great for sitting in the evening or at night or whenever it's not hot. It's quiet though the outside bar was playing a soccer game. Otherwise, no noise at night. Also no wifi issues anywhere in the hotel. The bathroom is functional but could use a bit of updating. The morning breakfast buffet had everything (breads, omelet bar, fruits, veggies, jams, cheese, meats, yogurts, dips, sweets, juices) and I went back for seconds and thirds every day. The pool area is lovely and right next to the Nile. Plenty of chairs and you can order from the cafe or just nap. All the staff from the waiters to the manager are nice and helpful. I walked to the sights, shopping and restaurants but obviously there are taxis and horses waiting outside. I was very happy, stayed an extra night and would absolutely recommend.

Luxor is a tale of two cities. The East side of Nile is (historically) more developed and like a medium size city. The West side of Nile is the valley of the dead, so its basically a village, all with crops, dirt roads and horse / camel stables. Most of the attractions (except for the Karnak and Luxor temples) are on the West side, and there is only one bridge to cross the Nile. The location of the bridge is very inconvenient. That's why we decided to stay on the West side. Alhambra is a nice hotel in the middle of a very rural setting. The hotel is nice considering the price you pay. Staff is very cooperative. We added the breakfast to our stay which was cheap. The rooms were clean, but not like a 5 star hotel. There was no iron or ironing board, so if you need to iron your clothes, you need to drop them at a (nearby) laundry store. The hotel looks just like the pictures from inside, but its on a small dirt road, with a couple of other similar hotels. Overall its a good budget option on the west side of the Nile.

The very best place to stay in Louxor! highly recommended! It is close to most of the important sites of Louxor, (Valley of King, Valley of the Queens, Valley of the Workers, Ramasseum, Hatchepsout Temple, Abu Temple and son on..) most of them are less than 5 minutes with the car. The hotel is very nice and extremely clean and has everything you may need including a swimming pool! It is confortable, quality of the bed is excellent and views from the rooms to the fields and the desert is just a continuous pleasure especially at sunset! But the best of this hotel is Said, the owner of the place with his efficient and kind staff. Said will take care of you all the time, he will give you his best attention, will organize all kind of services, car, transportation, boats, excursions at a very reasonable price and at any time. You will be treated as family! The food of the restaurant is delicious, everything is home made, all products are fresh! Can’t wait until next year to come again for a longer time!! Had a really great stay! The hotel is on the West Bank of Luxor which is really beautiful and is nice and quiet. It is close to the Valley of the Kings and also close to the nile which was super convenient. The staff were super friendly and helpful! I forgot my phone charger and one of the staff members let me borrow one from them which I thought was so sweet. The staff were always around to help and were very accommodating. Ate at the hotel restaurant the whole trip and the food was really good. Fahd helped with all of the tours and getting a driver and really went above and beyond to make my trip amazing. The hotel has two pools and the rooftop has beautiful views of the valley and the hot air balloons in the morning. All in all I was very happy with my stay :)
