No exaggeration! If you are traveling by car, the location is absolutely great ~ the living functions nearby are good, there are supermarkets and restaurants nearby, which can be reached in about five minutes by car ~ it takes less than 30 to an hour to get to the city or nearby famous attractions Wait, the point is that the residential environment here is very comfortable and quiet! The room is also very comfortable and clean. The service staff here are also very kind. I like it very much!

I had the most dissatisfying stay recently at the Hampton Inn in Smithfield RI. This was a one night local getaway for me to have a little alone time, to get some work done, and to relax. I have often stayed at Hiltons but not at the particular location. Right off the bat I found the desk person to be grumpy, short with me, and unfriendly, Not to mention that when I arrived I had to wait for him at the desk as he was outside, Once settled in my room the wifi was inaccessible. I tried several times and there just wasn't a strong enough signal for my computer to hook in. Not only was this disappointing but it didn't allow me to get the work done that I had planned on doing. The room above me sounded like a bowling alley all night long so sleep wasn't possible. In the morning the tv no longer worked, Seemed to possible be a bug with the clocks falling behind or something. Then, when leaving, there wasn't even anyone at the desk to speak with - just a box to put in your plastic room key for disinfecting. All in all it was a very disappointing stay and I won't be returning,

My two grandkids, my wife and I stayed at this hotel for two nights. I had two suite upgrade certificates left in my Bonvoy account and decided this would be a great time to use them. The chances of getting upgraded is usually about 50-50. I called the hotel a couple of days ahead of our arrival and explained that a suite would be extremely appreciated with our 9 and 11 year-old grandkids. I asked if I could put in a separate request for a suite based on my Lifetime Titanium status. She said no problem and would attach a note to our reservation. The day before our arrival, I got a notification that we had been upgraded with the certificates to a 720 sq. ft. king suite with an incredible view of the capitol. We arrived early and our suite was still occupied, so William took all our information and said he would notify my when the room was ready. We took the kids to the Museum of Natural History and the Planetarium. Upon exiting the planetarium I saw a notification that our room was ready. We checked in and the room was beyond our expectations! The sixth floor suite had an amazing view of the Capitol. We settled in and my grandson could not get internet access for his Nintendo switch. We went to the front desk and Nicola tried to help but couldn’t get it to work. So she gave us a number for IT support. We walked down to Providence Place and had dinner at the food court. When we returned he called the IT guy and he was connected in less than 5 minutes! Thank you Nicola!! We had access to the Club Lounge and picked up some sodas and waters. The next morning we had breakfast in the Club Lounge. The food included fried eggs, sausage, fruit and pastry items, coffee, and juices. The following morning the choice was scrambled eggs and bacon. Robert, the gentleman in charge kept everything stocked and the room clean. The following day we took the kids to Newport to tour the mansions. We got back around 6pm. The rooms were cleaned and looked pristine. The bathroom was huge. It was handicapped accessible. The shower had plenty of pressure and hot water. The room a/c worked great. We departed after breakfast. Hanna quickly checked us out. The room bill was perfect. The valet guys were great. The kids were already talking about when we could return. We can’t wait to return to this historical (former) Masonic hall.

The place to leave is very close, and the past is very convenient. The surrounding environment is also very good, and the transportation is very convenient. The super king bed can accommodate four people, a place that I like very much.

Well, this is probably one of the top 5 worst hotels I’ve stayed in. And I have even stayed at a lot of hotels during the Pandemic. I mean the overall cleanliness was good and it was a safe area. That was the only two things good about the stay. It was significantly over priced given that the lack of amenities especially for those that were advertised online. We asked the desk worker about the breakfast and pool and he gave us this snarky remark about the hotel never had a breakfast and for us to go to the stop and shop to get breakfast and the pool is closed because of Covid. Why is the pool closed when the pool is outside and full of chlorine? 2) The AC was broken. The adjustable vent cover was smashed in and absolutely no cold air came out. It was 88 degrees and humid in Mass. and the hotel itself was hot in the hallways. I wanted a working AC. Never have I stayed in a hotel with a broken ac. 3) There was a lot of long black human hair on the bathroom floor and on the bed. Which I can understand being in the bathroom to a certain extent but not in my bed. I feel that room service should try their best to check the small details of a room. I.e; behind bathroom door, under the sink, behind the toilet, where the wall meets the floor, etc. 4) The bathtub was clogged with this grotesk grey material in the drain and was constantly fill up. Even if I wanted to take a bath, there were no tub plug. I don’t want to take a bath while trying to take a shower. 5) The shower head was somewhat broken? Part of where the water sprays out was spraying on a weird angle and it would cover the floor in water. Even with the curtain closed. I had to manoeuvre the shower head to prevent this. 6) Very low water pressure. Both my husband and I had to stand in the shower for way longer than expected because the water pressure was low. It took forever to wash the soap off. 7) The hot water only lasted for about 3 minutes before getting cold. I had to wait until the hot water came back. Which is very inconvenient while taking a shower. 8) Bed sheets have a noticeable yellowish stains. One can only imagine what it could be 9) There was an unusual splatter of yellow and green substance on the bathroom light. 10) The floor was sticky and wet all over. I had to wear my shoes in my own hotel room. 11) There were dead bugs in the light fixtures and on the table. 13) It appeared that a light switch had some type of mild around it. My husband is very allergic and could end up in the hospital. 14) There were no security cameras in the stairwells. There are signs in the lobby stating 24/hr all around video surveillance but not in the stairwell? I am in fear for others safety. Especially with the MeToo movement and many un
